Alan and Serena's lovely apartmen is an oasis in busy and dusty Lusaka! We loved the rooms with a comfortable bed, an outdoor lounge and kitchen and a stainless bath with a hot shower. Wifi was very good. The apartment is located in a safe environment, with a green garden. The most important though were the hosts Alan and Serena themselves, who welcomed us so friendly, coffee and cold water waiting for us. Both gave us lots of tips where to go out in Lusaka, helped organizing taxi and transfers and we had very interesting conversations about live in Lusaka. We liked the dogs and the cats. We felt like at home. Highly recommended. Thank you Alan and Serena for sharing your place with us!

We stayed at the apartment while on transit in Lusaka and had a comfortable stay . Charity was helpful with the check-in and ensuring we had everything we needed. The place is a tad far from the CBD but within 15 minutes drive to most malls . There are a couple of restaurants in the vicinity.

A beautiful and spacious apartment with idyllic and private garden plus fully equipped kitchen, in a secure and quiet compound. The hostesses are very friendly and responsive, check-in is flexible. We stayed at this place with our family twice already and would definitely stay again if in Lusaka.

This is a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone. The owners stayed in touch even though they had to be out of town. Joseph, the on site manager, was great. You won't regret staying here.

We had a wonderful two week stay at this house. It is a large, pleasant three bedroom house - the master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a great canopy mosquito net which is very helpful in the rainy season (we sprayed the other rooms for mosquitos before going to bed as they didn't have nets). The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself, which we really appreciated. The garden is even more impressive - it's huge, beautiful and full of lovely plants and flowers. The house has a nice patio with patio furniture so you can sit or eat outside and enjoy the view of the garden. There's also a braai stand - perfect for barbecuing in the sun. A beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The only issue we had was that the solar power backup system wasn't working when the power went out, but hopefully this will be fixed soon. The house is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive from East Park Mall & Arcades Mall on Great East Road, and even closer to Foxdale Mall. There is a caretaker on site, and a cleaner who come regularly, and they were both very friendly and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return the next time we are in Lusaka. We have been traveling in Zambia for quite a few years and this is, by far, the best place we have ever stayed in. The house is extremely well constructed, clean, safe, and very comfortable. Noreen and her husband were very welcoming and extremely helpful, always making sure that everything is working properly and providing alternative solutions when needed (power cuts). The place is beautiful and very peaceful. You’ll need a car to stay there, but if you don’t mind driving, Leopard’s Hills is a great neighborhood.

Virginia is an exceptional host—accessible, approachable, and highly supportive. She maintained open lines of communication throughout our stay and was always available to assist whenever needed. Spending Christmas in Lusaka was made even more memorable when she surprised us with a thoughtful gift and a card. Truly a remarkable and rare host!
