Staying here was an incredible experience. My wife and I were in awe of the spectacular views of the tranquil fjord, the snow-capped mountains around us, and the gushing waterfall next to the house. We used the kitchen a lot during our stay and immediately fell in love with it. It is the best stocked airbnb kitchen we have come across. Cooking in it felt so natural and everything was easy to find. The living room was also a highlight- it is spacious and, as the description says, it easily fits several guests but it still felt cozy with only us two. And of course, the hot tub was perfect to relax in on cold and windy evenings as the sun went down. It is clear Hans and Emily have put so much care and thoughtfulness into making this cabin a home for their guests. Their attentiveness extends beyond the house too and when the conditions were right to see the northern lights, they eagerly messaged us to make sure we didn't miss it. Every moment we spent here was a delight.

Puddehytta levde opp til navnet denne helga, med fantastisk føre i og utanfor løypa. Me fekk prøve både bortover og nedoverskia 😊 Veldig flott og koseleg hytte. Flott langbord med plass til storfamilien rundt same bord. Romsleg og flott kjøkken. Ei lita loftstove med tv var pluss for ungane som kunne sitte der. Eit flott hytte med flott beliggenheit, gjer at me gjerne kjem att 😊🤩

Per is a very kind and welcoming host. He waited for us at the check-in and showed us his wonderful cabin on the hill, with beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. He also helped us carry our luggage and gave us great information before our stay, that helped us organize it better. Later during our stay, he gave us further hints and advice, so we could get the most of our Sogndal experience. Everything in the cabin was as shown in the photos, it's an amazing place. Jacuzzi with a view on the lake, mountains and evening sky with meteor showers is an unforgettable experience. Thank you for the stay, Per!

We had a lovely stay! Nice and cozy apartment. The fireplace and the sauna were great! Darius was very friendly and helpful!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis dans ce magnifique chalet pendant les fêtes. L'arrivée a été facilitée par les instructions précises d'Elisabeth. Tout était impeccable à notre arrivée. Une grande tablée était dressée et nous avions même un magnifique sapin dans le salon. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement du chalet lors de notre séjour: de la grande cuisine pour concocter de super diners, du salon avec cheminée pour l'apéritif, du jacuzzi extérieur (incroyable!) ou encore des enceintes pour danser en musique. Le chalet est idéalement situé pour skier à la journée. Nous avons également pu faire une activité de chiens de traineaux, ou encore une balade dans les fjords à Flam (1h de route environ à chaque fois). Enfin, nous avons eu beaucoup de neige et le paysage environnement était majestueux. Elisabeth a été très sympathique et réactive lorsque nous avions besoin d'échanger et nous avons passé des moments inoubliables ici.

We were looking for somewhere close to the ski resort, yet still far enough away for some peace and quiet. Øyvind's cabin was perfect for this! On top of the perfect location, the cabin is charming and uniquely Norwegian, and although we didn't manage to heat the jacuzzi up (due to starting too late in the evening), we couldn't recommend staying here enough!

Great place, great experience, great host. Bonus was a light show in the sky- aurora on January 1st was something we will never forget.

Ein grossartiges Haus an einem grossartigen Ort, mit toller Ausstattung. Die Nähe zum Fjord und die Architektur des Hauses ist ein traumhafter Mix. Wir haben uns sehr schnell in diesem Haus zuhause gefühlt. Sverre ist ein toller Gastgeber und sehr proaktiv.

Overall we had a good stay. Tip - car parking opposite the Brygge restaurant. Then it’s a short walk to the house. Pros Quiet and peaceful location Generally well presented and equipped. Responsive hosts. Good internet. Use of a washing machine and dish washer. The view from the deck is absolutely amazing, and worth 5 stars on it’s own. Fire place was a bonus. Improvements Mattresses and pillows could be upgraded for a better sleep Both rooms should be ready for use particularly for family’s. Floor matts by the shower would be helpful as shower cubicle leaks. Would love to return when the weather was better to be able to make use of the deck. Thank you.

A very nice place with superb location nestled in a valley. Quite and away from the traffic. Clean and well furnished, except that the door heights very very small and cots were small - in width, so we as a couple could not sleep together (had to use the 3rd cot). Nice host too

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house on a small apple farm! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view of the orchard and surrounding fjords was stunning, and the location was perfectly secluded, offering a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut unseren Urlaub in der Unterkunft von Åse zu verbringen. Die Gegend war uns schon bekannt somit wussten wir bereits wie schön es in Tyinkrysset ist. Åse ist eine sehr nette und kommunikative Gasgeberin, wir haben uns sehr gut mit ihr verstanden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und macht es einem leicht auch bei Regen dort ein paar Tage zu verbringen. Besonders haben wir die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung geschätzt. Wir ziehen es in Betracht einmal wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

We hadden een heel fijn verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht over de fjord! Het huisje is gezellig ingericht en van alles voorzien. Je vindt het huisje het makkelijkst als je van Luster naar Skjolden rijdt. Er is een parkeerplaats in het gras langs de weg voorzien. Daarna met een trap naar het huisje.

Four of us stayed at this lovely house during our vacation in Norway. We chose Sogndal because it was a nice midpoint for several places we wanted to visit (Flam, Laerdal, Boyabreen and Loen). The area is unbelievably gorgeous and Sogndal is a nice town that has all the amenities you might want (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) vs. some of the smaller towns in the area. Eirik's house was lovely. The best part was the gorgeous view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and cozy. Eirik was always very responsive to any questions I had both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable chez Steinar, sans aucun doute le plus bel endroit où nous avons séjourné. La vue est tout simplement indescriptible, à couper le souffle ! La maison est parfaite : extrêmement confortable, d’une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipée. Steinar est un hôte absolument adorable, toujours disponible pour prendre de nos nouvelles et répondre à nos questions avec gentillesse. Nous espérons vraiment pouvoir revenir un jour, tant nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Merci encore pour tout !

ホストのアンナさん、娘さんのカリテさんはとても親切で困った時にすぐに助けてくれました。子供連れで車の運転が出来なかったので、駅まで迎えに来てくれたのは本当に助かりました😁 お部屋からの景色はフィヨルドの山々が眼前に広がり壮大で、滝も見えます。また、広い素敵なお庭の横にはとてもラブリーな馬が2匹いて、心が和みました。 お部屋はとてもモダンでお洒落で、子供達用のおもちゃもあり、家族でUNOをして楽しめました。また、ウェルカムドリンクのリンゴジュースとチョコレートに子供達が大喜びでした！ またノルウェー旅行に来る際は夏に訪問したいと思います！素敵な旅行体験を有難うございました！

Anne is a great, welcoming host, who’s thought of many minute details to make guests feel comfortable. We had everything we needed (and more) in amazing surroundings and were sorry to have to leave. Lovely spot, great for exploration of Norway’s many wonders surrounding it.

Veldig bra hytte, tett på skitrekket. Gode senger og bra bad. Bra utstyrt kjøkken og veldig stort kjøleskap.

We highly recommend staying at this wonderful place, superb location for exploring the area. The view across to the mountain & fjord is splendid with the benefit of enjoying from inside through the large picture window, or sit outside on the veranda. I loved having another small sitting area upstairs with it's own small verandah & relaxed here late evening. The bed was comfortable, good downstairs shower, excellent drying room for our boots. The kitchen is well stocked for baking or making waffles, if you are inclined. It is very nice to have a few spices or herbs to use. Mads is extremely fast responding to y queries. within minutes. It is easy to access, took a bit of a wrong turn to get the right road, Turn immediately left off the main road, go down the hill to the next left junction, go up and straight on past the children's play area under the pines. You can bathe in the fjord below and have a lovely walk through the woods, along by the fjord or up onto the hill. 5 stars

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious enough for five people, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to allow us to cook great meals and a large dining table provided ample space for us to enjoy memorable meals together. Fantastic view of the fjord. Synnove was exceptionally responsive to our requests the entire week. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.
