Overall positive experience. We loved that the pool and hot tub were in the same building. I skied most of the time and it was nice to come back to the room and start a fire. The condo was clean and everything worked as it should.

Great location, ski in/out worked great!

Check-in was easy. Beds were comfortable. Easy ski-in/ski-out (our 4 yr old could ski the path). You do need to drive to the pool, but worth it. We will stay here again. Had a great time at Lutsen!

We loved our holiday skiing stay! We had two families, nine people - 4 adults and 5 young adults. The ski in/ out access was great and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we cooked all our meals in! There is only seating for 7 at the table, but we moved a couple counter stools to the table so we could all sit there. We had some issues with the heat in the upstairs bedroom (too hot) but Shayla was responsive and helped us trouble shoot. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

Everything about this airbnb was great! We enjoyed the location next to Lake Superior, and then its location on the north shore made it easy to make a day trip to Grand Marais and make stops along the shore. Our only complaint for the Airbnb was the lack of parking. There was not assigned parking spots, and we only got a park spot of the nights we stayed.

What a perfect condo! So comfy and beautifully decorated. We love our Lutsen mountain vacations and this location can’t be beat. The ski in/ski out could not be more convenient! Nice little deck to sit and relax and enjoy a little après ski time. Mountain views and quick access to pool and hot tub! We definitely will be back.

This house had all the amenities that you would need, it was clean & so cozy! The sauna was such a hit with our group:) The host was so easy to work with!

We stayed at this property to ride the ATV trail system. You could not ask for a better location to the system. Easy to get to the trails, and access to two great loops to ride.

Loved our stay at this place. For once the photos did not do it justice. The place is lovelier than the pictures. We hope to come again.

Joan and Don’s place was beautiful and they were very responsive. Don built much of the place by hand which is impressive! We enjoyed seeing faint northern lights, playing board games at the big table, cooking in the chefs kitchen, and baking in the sauna by the lake. For a remote winter getaway with a large group, this is the place.

We were a group of 9 adults and Jess and Paul’s place is perfect for a large group. It is very difficult to find enough sleeping spaces, so this worked out perfectly for us. The hosts are very responsive and proactively communicated with us. The property manager apartment is connected to the house, but we had our own space and there is privacy. The amenities are awesome, the sauna was TOASTY! We loved long evenings by the fire outside. Amazing access to trails - both easy and challenging. Grand Marais is just 5 minutes down the road. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience!

We visited the area for Bayfield Apple Fest and loved returning to our cozy cabin nestled in the woods, complete with beautiful walking trails. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and the home exceeded our expectations—very neat, and cozy! We can’t wait to come back next year.

Chad was a great host. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The location of the Cabin was stunning and you could see Lake Superior!

We LOVED our stay at Jenny and William’s gorgeous cabin. We were hit with a beautiful snow storm during our stay and we could not have asked for a better place to snowshoe. The view of Superior was stunning. I often have a hard time sleeping when we travel but we all slept like rocks! We will definitely be back.

Always enjoy visiting Grand Marais, but this beautifully decorated, bright and airy home is the perfect place to soak in the peaceful surroundings! The inviting space has thoughtful touches of home with the amazing beauty of living plants to bring nature inside to nurture your soul! We enjoyed our visit so much and can’t wait to return!❤️

If you love snowmobiling and are always on the lookout for fresh trails, let me put Hovland, MN, on your radar. I recently spent a weekend there with a few friends, and it was hands down one of the best riding trips I’ve had. Our Airbnb turned out to be the perfect home base, and the snowmobiling in the area? Absolutely top-notch. One thing to note—you’ll need to trailer into either Grand Marais or Grand Portage to hit the trails. While that might sound like an extra step, it’s actually a huge advantage. Both spots serve as prime trailheads, giving you direct access to an extensive network of well-groomed trails. Plus, they offer gas, restaurants, and plenty of parking, making it super convenient. And since Hovland is equidistant from both, it's less than a 20-minute drive in either direction, so you can switch things up depending on the day. We really enjoyed our stay! It was nice, clean and spacious. It was close to Lutsen Mountain for our ski group. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and playing games by the fire. Our host was even so proactive when we inquired about a kitchen appliance being available they purchased one and sent it in advance! Would definitely stay here again.

Nadine was a fantastic host, responsive from the moment we booked until the moment we checked out. The house is beautiful, and they have thought of everything - welcome snack, helpful notes in the home, history of the home, well appointed kitchen (we cooked often), toothbrushes, razors - every little detail. We had a wonderful stay and have already recommended to friends. Thank you!
