Olli completely exhibits why you come to this site - warm, personable, responsive, and genuinely ernst in insuring your stay is comfortable. Olli and his daughter had arranged for the place to be impeccably ready and clean. And both were there to welcome us, let us in, and with instructions on details of everything necessary we needed, including how we could get around and to the airport. As much the place exceeded our expectations in being right for our stay, it was just as wonderful to meet them both. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood right next to a grocery store. And very close to Tripla mall, and the airport if you want to get there quickly. Olli, thanks so much. We can't wait to be back in Helsinki. And hopefully your place will still be open for our next stay.

I stayed for almost 3 weeks at Ossi's place and loved it! A bit outside of the city centre, it is located in a peaceful neighbourhood with a bus station only a 2 min walk away (the city center reachable in ~12 min), several grocery stores and restaurants nearby, and a wonderful park and coastline about a 15 min walk away. Seeing the sun rise above the sea is beautiful from there! Ossi's place is beautifully furnished, cozy and homey. The kitchen and bathroom are very generous in size, the bed comfortable, the heating system excellent, and I also loved the beautiful (winter) balcony. It was generally very clean when I came, though some places (e.g. the dispensing drawer for the detergent in the washing machine, or the top of the kitchen exhaust fan) could benefit from some more regular cleaning. That is, however, only a tiny complaint, because I all in all I felt very quickly at home there, and Ossi's responsive & helpfulness only added to my positive experience. Would come again!

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

Wir hatten eine wunderbare und entspannte Zeit in Susannas schöner Wohnung. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Geschmack eingerichtet. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man in 30 Minuten im Zentrum und die Umgebung ist schön für Spaziergänge oder etwas ruhigere Aktivitäten. Wie waren mit Baby unterwegs und die Wohnung war dafür perfekt ausgestattet. Vielen Dank an Susanna und ihre Familie!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und der nahe See perfekt zum Abkühlen nach der Sauna. Die Wohnung wird mit einer Klimaanlage geheizt, dadurch gibt es einen gewissen Geräuschpegel im Wohnzimmer, wie haben uns aber mit der Zeit daran gewöhnt. Im Schlafzimmer ist die Klimaanlage nicht zu hören. Dafür herrscht jederzeit eine sehr angenehme Temperatur in der Wohnung.
