Luzhou District : locations de vacances

I stayed here for a month in the winter. The apartment is very clean, all appliances in good condition, basic necessities stocked. Eve and Joey are great hosts -- they took me along to restaurants, parks, and a temple in the mountains, and at home we often watched TV together or just chatted. The cats are friendly too! The orange one really likes to play, so if you like cats you'll never be bored. The doorman and neighborhood employees are all quite friendly. The location is convenient for everyday living: lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and markets, also close to subway and bus lines. To get to the main tourist-y part of Taipei it takes ~40-50 mins on the subway, or 20-30 mins via taxi/Uber (300 TWD). It is also walking distance from some nice parks and a shopping mall. Overall, great place to stay! I would definitely come again. Thanks Eve and Joey!

We stayed here for a couple of nights after flying in, relatively easy to find once we got our bearings but the small streets were pretty tricky to navigate in a rental car. However, there is a parking lot a couple of minutes walk down the road. The apartment is comfortable with the separate bedroom and sliding door doors out the back. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good, TV had some English content on it. Good communication from the owner.

Yumi is very friendly, patient and responsive to queries. Her place is easy to find and near to public transportation. You can take the local bus (only NT15) to a lot of places so it's very convenient. There is a traditional market, 24hr- supermarket and a few convenient stores all within walking distance. There is a xiao long bao stall across the street and a shop further down offering local dishes with free flow of rice, porridge, noodles, soup and tea. You can walk to Luzhou Miaokou Night Market and Yonglian temple or take a bus there. If you are walking there, there are a lot of small shops selling local food along the way. Sanhe Night Market is also walkable. Thanks Yumi for everything I enjoyed my 16 days stay.

Boco was a great host. As someone that usually prefers to book an entire Airbnb space, Boco's level of engagement and hospitality when we crossed paths in the shared space, made for a more enjoyable experience than if I were staying alone. I believe he was very good at sensing when a guest may feel like talking for a few minutes, versus when one may prefer to retreat to the private and cozy yellow bedroom or private bathroom. To me, as someone that has stayed in many places in Taipei, I can say this one is remarkably quiet. It's also beautifully decorated and spacious, with expansive views of the cityscape. The silence and calming environment led to great sleep quality. Although if one plans to spend time in the central part of Taipei, the commute time is longer, the Taipei metro is comfortable and easy to use, and the time on the train can be used productively.
