Brian’s place was perfect. It was exactly what me and my friends were looking for. He had a nice porch, large TV, dartboard, usable kitchen, laundry machines and clean bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms. He even had clear info printed out in the space and cute 3D printed Knick-Knacks all over the place. Brian himself was very friendly and communicative, and gave great local recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone whether they were solo looking for a quiet place to stay or a group of friends looking for a good place to hang out.

We stayed two nights with our lab and it was just what we needed. Our lab is older and harder to go up and down stairs but Lauren’s place was all on one floor only had a few wooden stairs to enter. So it worked fine. The grassy backyard was a bonus for our dog too. Comfy bed and cozy Lshaped couch in large living room to relax and enjoy our evenings. Lauren’s husband came out and adjusted the bathroom shower temp which was no big deal but of course a big help! Loved the wooden walls in the living room without the smell of being an older home with some other places you may find. Lauren was the perfect host with super quick responses and allowed us to check in earlier and check out later which was a so appreciative since traveling with our dog. Kathy’s Cafe had some good breakfast/lunches! Thank you Lauren!

We needed a place to celebrate Christmas, where we could have Christmas dinner and open gifts. We arrived at the house after a four hour drive on a gloomy, chilly December day to a home that was decorated for Christmas with a lit Christmas tree and fireplace. It would be impossible for someone who is not physically present to make you feel more welcome than we felt when we arrived. Nice spacious house with a great view. Since the house is near the top of the hill and it sits above street level, it is the perfect combination of being in a walkable neighborhood yet you feel like you have tons of space between you and the neighbors.

My husband and I and our gentle lab loved staying at Kate and David’s cozy cottage! Super clean and all the comforts of home including the fully equipped kitchen to cook our meals and having a dishwasher, and our own washing machine and dryer was a big bonus! They seemed brand new! Kate thought of everything to be supplied. Between greeting us at our beginning of our stay, great communication thru out, the cozy beds and awesome water pressure for our showers to the leather recliners to watch our favorite show. They live close by so around if you needed something. Grocery store close by as well as popular Italian restaurant. The perfect hosts! Thank you Kate and David!

Location is great for area activities. Matched the listing. Worked great for my family and dog. The neighborhood was easy for dog walking.

The host was very flexible and quick to respond. The house felt homey, clean, and comfortable! The Christmas tree was a nice touch and we loved the DVD selection and borad games. My dog felt right at home with the basket of dogs toys and extra leash!

The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful and quiet. loved the fireplace and hot tub! Host checked in with us after arrival. Loved the location and may come back in the fall.

Perfect location! Quick bike ride via the trail to little league World Series stadium and restaurants and shops. It was nice to park and leave the car at the rental and avoid the traffic in town. Very clean, everything as described. Very responsive and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at this house, and once again it was a great stay at a great property. Since our prior stay a year ago, they have added both a foosball table and an outdoor hot tub, and our group really appreciated both of these. It shows the owners are investing in upkeep. We also appreciated the baseball field just up the hill. The location right next to Elk Creek is wonderful, with a fire pit area close to the creek. This is a big beautiful older house with modern bedding, fireplace, oven, couch/recliners, etc.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Michele and Kate's Airbnb is even better than described -- it is spacious, warm, and luxurious! The kitchen is incredible and had many condiments to use, and the bathrooms are pure luxury with so many extras such as bath salts, toothpaste, etc. The views out of every window are spectacular. The beds are comfortable, and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It's clear this is a well-loved home turned into an Airbnb. Kate was really warm and helpful when I had questions. This Airbnb is a real bargain looking at all that it offers, and I am hopeful it will be available the next time my family is in the area. Thank you, Michele and Kate, for making our holiday special!

The cabin and the whole area was extremely nice and a nice setting. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hosts reached out to make sure our stay was good. The cabin was clean, organized, and had great amenities.

The house was great and had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful surroundings and an awesome property.

My family loved staying at bill and Linda's place! We were in the area for a wedding and we were not disappointed. Bill gave very thorough instructions, and was always responsive and kind. The view of the backyard was a dream! My father stayed out fishing every second he could, and our dog loved the space to run around. Bill provided a binder full of things to do, including helpful tips to get around the house. It was fully worth the money we paid, and we enjoyed the privacy it allowed us. Overall, I would absolutely recommended this to friends and family, and we've already talked about returning at a later date!

Great comfortable place! Great living room area with a big tv and plenty of space. The place is well lit. It was comfortable and clean. The only con would be that it’s not walkable but that wasn’t an issue for us

Lovely place to stay, relax and enjoy all that the Sullivan County wilderness has to offer!!
