Very good communication from host, friendly and informative. Very thing was as described and better. Car park easy to find and Julien had already informed us regarding the road closures in Lyme and which way to arrive. Place was easy to find and very clean and homely. Very large apartment and with plenty of room for the 4 of us. TV was good, and there were DVD's and a DVD player. Wi Fi was excellent. Tea, Coffee, Sugar was available along with essentials in the toilet which was very welcomed. Tesco and Co op within 2 min walk, which for us was very good. I would say the only negative, was the front door, you had to lock once inside as the door did not self lock. With 4 adults and only one key, with door having to be locked, it created an issue, but one that was easy worked around. Maybe have a Yale locked fitted, so that the door is locked without a key? The apartment is over three floors, so the description highlighting this is correct. Place is quirky, and very homely. 5 stars

Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

Fantastic stay at Dans Airbnb, would definitely stay again! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Felt very at home in my stay there. The parking was a bonus, and tricky to get in Exeter! Only one minor thing to note, and not an issue from Dan at all, but being a ground floor flat the upstairs could be a bit noisy at times!

Had a great stay at Dan’s place. It’s a great location, very central but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Communication with Dan was great and it was very easy to check in. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who is staying in Exeter 🙂

Enjoyed our stay very much, two excellent (but with different vibes) pubs a 5 minute walk away. Check food serving days though, Sunday to Tuesdays is limited (same applies over the water in Dartmouth). Easy and frequent passenger ferry and vehicle service to and from Dartmouth five minutes walk at bottom of road . Great vista from the apartment. Two excellent National Trust properties nearby, and lots of scenic walking. Plenty of exercise thanks to the gradients !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb, and I must commend the host for their exceptional hospitality. The attention to detail was evident from the moment I entered the spotless, well-maintained home. The host provided a comprehensive guidebook, over 50 pages long, detailing not only the amenities but also local dining options and attractions. What truly set this place apart were the thoughtful touches, like wall-mounted frames with local tips and recommendations, and a children's room thoughtfully stocked with gender-specific toys. The kitchen, bathroom, and linens were impeccably clean, and the check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the host's clear instructions. Overall, a truly memorable stay!

We had a lovely stay at Louise’s apartment ‘Little Merida’ with our dog Tilly. Louise messaged us before our stay to tell us the apartment would be available early although we weren’t able to take advantage of this. She came and introduced herself after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. There was a fresh vase of flowers, some milk, coffee and some delicious local fudge on our arrival. The apartment looked exactly as in the photos, it was warm comfortable, clean, well look after and tastefully decorated. We ate in on two occasions and the apartment had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There are plenty of restaurants and bars locally and within easy walking distant. We had a great time at Little Merida. Thank you Louise

I was a long-term guest for 3 months at Mike’s place, and really enjoyed my time there whilst I finished my studies at Exeter Uni. Mike was very approachable and made every effort to make my stay as nice as possible. The place was very peaceful and private, and was exactly as described. It was very comfortable and welcoming to come back to after a long day of work. Thanks Mike, hope to stay again!

We had a lovely stay, very nice house in a great location super close to town and the car park. Very clean and well decorated, would definitely book again if returning to darrmouth!

We have loved our stay and been blessed with the most stunning weather. Starch Mill has such a great location to get to the beach and all the lovely cafes and restaurants at Lyme. Town Mill Bakery, Kiosk and Swim were our faves. The property is spotless and has everything you could need. Mike is a proactive, friendly host. 5 stars all round

Mark has built something very special, the photos do not actually do it justice. Very clean and modern, superb outdoor area too and magnificent views (with a great pub nearby as a bonus!).

Tom’s place is so lovely. Our family had a great stay at his place. It was a short walk to the beach, which was an added bonus. Plenty of room, very clean and just as described. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Hollycroft Barn is in close proximity to Upton Barn & Walled Garden wedding venue where my daughter was getting married. The property is fabulous - spacious, well equipped and set in beautiful tranquil surroundings. Tracy is the most perfect host - home baked cake upon arrival, tour of the house provided, fresh flowers in each room. Thoroughly recommended. We will most definitely be staying there again.

We all would like to thank Tonia for letting us stay at her airbnb. It was perfect for our weekend break meeting up with friends. Location was ideal, just 20 min walk to event. Home was clean and spacious, everything we needed was provided. We look forward to booking again next year !

We couldn’t have asked for anything more from Tristan’s place. Right on the beach with lots to do, everything walkable, and in the most ideal of setting. Tristan’s house is immaculate and we all felt right at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host went above and beyond, communicating quickly and making everything effortless. The house is stunning—beautifully decorated, incredibly homely, and so spacious. With 15 of us, including children, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The huge dining table was perfect for group meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed—loads of crockery, cutlery, and top-quality appliances. The beds were super comfortable, the showers worked perfectly, and every detail was well thought out. The location was spot-on, and nothing was scrimped on. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

We had a great short break away. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. It is in a great location and would very much recommend others to visit this gem of a place.

Everything we hoped for and more. Theresa's place was the perfect spot for a few days break in Devon. A really cosy feel to the property, one of the best equipped kitchens of any Air BnB I've stayed and simply stunning views. Both Theresa and her husband Simon were wonderfully hospitable and made sure that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thank you!

The perfect place to stay for a few nights while I was on a course - much better than a hotel room. Close to train station and within walking distance of the town centre, supermarket and the river area. We used the drive for the car, but it might be a bit offputting for some. Very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. We felt very at-home, and the bedrooms worked well for three adults. Good comms from the owner.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

We enjoyed an excellent break here over Christmas. The apartment is exactly as described, having large bedrooms with great views over Torbay and a very well equipped kitchen that was a blessing for making a Christmas dinner! Dean was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and I would highly recommend.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Jenny's flat and look forward to returning next year!

This place was a really lovely cosy little bolthole, and surprisingly peaceful despite being in town. Really decent quality and lots of very thoughtful provisions in place such as real coffee and milk in fridge on arrival- plus lovely little treat / surprise laid out! Luke is a proactive, considerate and communicative host. I would definitely stay here again, and the beautiful park opposite was a real bonus and great for my senior dog as not too far for her to walk to lie in the sunshine. ☺️

Absolutely wonderful apartment in Exeter. Right by local bars and restaurants and a short walk into town centre and Quay side. Will definitely be coming back to stay in the future. Could not recommend highly enough! Host was very responsive and helpful. Ideal check in capabilities and check out time. Great safety for the apartment as well.
