This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge! We gathered to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and she was overwhelmed - in her words, she loved 'every single nook and cranny' of the lodge. It was a beautiful weekend and Alicia was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

This is the most magical little cottage, I am so happy I found it. My daughter & I stayed here on a road trip to North Carolina & I loved it so much I booked it for our return journey too. Elise made everything so easy & was always quick to reply & so helpful. We arrived after a long day of driving & felt so grateful to land here. Elise had so many welcoming touches, we felt truly at home & were honestly enchanted by every little detail in the cottage from the beautiful, creative decor, to all the reclaimed details & Elise’s beautiful art & ceramics. The hot tub & the claw foot bathtub were such a treat after the road & the bed was so comfortable. Waking up to the peaceful countryside surrounding us & the best coffee & farm fresh eggs was the perfect beginning to the day. My daughter was very excited that Elise had left food to feed the goats & I was excited to peek in her art studio & buy some ceramics. I only wish we could have stayed longer to take one of her art classes.

Great place in a great location. Extremely homey and comfortable. Balcony off the master bedroom is just lovely. Very responsible and accommodating hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. The rooms and living areas were even better than the photos. And the sunrises were incredible. It was about 10 minute drive to Lexington and even closer to a good grocery store. We appreciated the extra touches since we were there over the holidays. 2 small Christmas trees and other holiday displays. The home was very child friendly. Thanks, Jennifer.

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

We loved staying here! It's a beautiful home with a great view. Communication was great. We would definitely stay here again. - It was a 4-5 min drive to the parking area (skiing) or you can park at the spa and take the shuttle. - The top floor is a large bedroom and bathroom, then two bedrooms on the main floor (with two separate bathrooms) and the bottom floor is large with the pool table / another living area, and hot tub outside. The bottom floor has 3 BRs but only one bathroom FYI. Not a problem for us but something to keep in mind when splitting up the spaces.

Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

Patricia’s Cottage is very charming and well appointed. She had stocked it very well with everything you could ask for in a home. Although it’s right on a county road, the inside is very quiet and the back deck is huge and well furnished, which is where we had our morning coffee and evening wine. Overall, it’s an excellent cottage and we very highly recommend it.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 plus our dog. The large kitchen was perfect for making meals at home and the couches are super cozy. The backyard is larger than our seems in the photos. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, eating our breakfast and listening to the birds. She has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of fun extras throughout the house. We appreciated the special attention given to our doggie including a gift just for her.

This house was amazing to stay at! The plan was just to find an Airbnb to stay at while we skied at wintergreen, but we ended up getting rained out and spent almost the whole time in the house. I was so fun the house is full of surprises and fun board games we weren't board for a minute! The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook!

It was such a pleasure to stay here. Susan is a fantastic host and it was a wonderful surprise to find the fridge stocked with donuts from the local donut shop! Check in and check out were a breeze and it was nice to stay somewhere that didn’t have a laundry list of check out instructions. If I ever make another trip to Charlottesville, I will be staying here again.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The host is responsive, respectful, and reactive to your needs. Worth every penny, and every minute spent to get there.

Convenient, comfortable and great view. Chris was helpful, flexible, and very responsive. Visited during an epic cold spell and missed the full potential of the lake access which I would live to enjoy next time

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!"

Seven of us enjoyed a wonderful joint 75th birthday celebration at this beautiful lake home. The mountain and lake views from the spacious back deck were breathtaking. It was exactly as described with prompt and thoughtful communications. Comfortable beds and amenities to meet every need. Can’t wait to return to enjoy outdoor activities with extended family.

This mountain home was perfect for our ski getaway--we especially loved the separate downstairs living area (the kids spent hours playing air hockey). There were tons of great perks as the host seemed to think of everything: board games & puzzles, ski locker, snow shovel & salt for the driveway, toiletries in each bathroom, extra blankets, fireplace, boot rug/rack, etc. Plus it was an easy 2 mile drive to the ski resort.
