The house is very nice, with lots of space for a rainy day. We did run out of plates, glasses, coffee cups etc. pretty quickly, however, the kitchen is big and it has all the necessary hardware for cooking. The location is quite remote, so we did have to do a lot of driving. Hege was quick to reply, helpful and polite. It was easy to check in and out. I would recommend the house for a hiking/skiing trip with friends or a big family.

me and two colleagues stayed for some days at Cato's house for some work in the area. just a few days before we had to find a place to stay and found Cato's place.. what a great location in the middle of one of the bigger towns in the lyngen area. and what a friendly host Cato is! definitely a big reccomandation for everyone that wants to stay in the lyngen comune

Majoitus oli siisti ja kodikas. Majoittaja tarjosi kaikkia hyödyllisiä tarvikkeita kuten kahvia. Stina vastasi nopeasti ja oli ystävällinen.

The perfect place, we had great days for a touring skiing. Good location near the slopes even in bad weather. The house is very specious, very well equiped. All what we needed we got. Enough space at entrance for all stuff we had. Cozy living room and perfect kitchen. The grocery store is 3 min with the car. You get everything in it. Highly recommend! The owner was repsonsible and house is easy to find, just on the other side of the small island:-)

Schöne geräumige Unterkunft. Jeder hatte ein eigenes Schlafzimmer. Große Küche und großes Wohnzimmer. Hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche. Das Haus ist traumhaft am Fjord gelegen mit Blick in den Sonnenuntergang (April). Alles ist perfekt organisiert in dem Haus. Wir sind jeden Tag auf langen Schitouren unterwegs gewesen und haben dann ganz entspannte Zeiten mit Sauna und der perfekten Aussicht genossen.

Lite, gammelt koselig hus. Endel koselige gamle møbler, og kjøkkenutstyr som jeg husker fra bestemor sitt kjøkken. Ellers var det mye annet sengetøy og håndklær. Selv om huset bærer preg av sin alder var det rent og ryddig overalt. Flere forskjellige brettspill og bøker å velge mellom. Mye krydder og sånt "smått" som man plutselig har glemt å handle inn. God plass på kjøkkenet, blir et naturlig samlingspunkt, slik som i gamle dager. Anbefales!

Visit. The best location possible for what we desired. Our goal was to see the northern lights and we did. Be sure to plan ahead and check forecasts and time of year for the norther lights as we did because sitting in a hot tub and seeing one of the world’s natural wonders is priceless. The location is perfection being idilic, beautiful and private. The accommodation and facilities were clean, high quality and overall great. I would highly recommend this venue as staying here was perfect and commuting via hire car into Tromso worked very well! The host was even kind enough to knock on our door one of the nights to inform us the northern lights were on show when she was there.

Ett stort hus med allt man behöver, rent och snyggt. En helt fantastiskt utsikt! Enkel och snabb kommunikation med värden. Kan varmt rekommendera både hus och värden.

Wir waren mit Familie mit Kleinkind in Viktors Haus und hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt dort. Die Kommunikation mit Viktor war schnell und unkompliziert. Er war äußerst hilfsbereit und hat sich sogar um einen extra Kindersitz für unseren kleinen Toni gekümmert, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr erleichtert hat. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist stilvoll und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit einer gewissen künstlerischen Note, die es zu einem ganz besonderen Ort macht. Vom Sofa aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den Fjord und die verschneiten Berge. Skitouren starten direkt hinter dem Haus, was es super praktisch macht, die Umgebung zu erkunden. Ein weiteres Highlight war die Sauna mit dem großen Fenster, durch das man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Fjord hat. Es gibt nichts Besseres, als nach einem Tag voller Aktivitäten in der Sauna zu entspannen. Vielen Dank für allesViktor

Beautiful, clean and comfortable home with a great view. Our family had great time here. Monica was very nice and told great tips and information about the location and surroundings. Everything was well thought out with clear instructions. Very highly recommended!

Izredno lep in praktičen objekt na izredno lepi lokaciji. Jack Robert je bil zelo prijazen in uslužen. Uredil nam je dostavo kozic in rib. Zelo nam je bila všeč zanimiva savna s pečjo na drva tik ob morju, kjer smo se lahko hladili.

I thank Ida for the courtesy, the smiles, the sweets offered, the sauna prepared every afternoon. I have rarely found such a welcoming owner, an experience to renew and recommend! Thanks for everything

It was my second time at Bjørn's place and was not disappointed! The house is very cosy and homey. It has a very unique location right at the fjord. It is a great place to unwind and relax and appreciate the northern lights (in winter). There are plenty of hiking opportunities in the surrounding mountains, however, a car is required to get around. Bjørn is a great host, always happy to help and provide suggestions for local things to do. We are hoping to go back one day in the summertime to also experience the midnight sun.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The place was super comfortable the setting absolutely magical And Kjersti was truly amazing and super hospitable!! By the end we were practically friends!! Our stay here exceeded expectations and we can’t wait to be back!!

Anton’s cabin is just magical. We had an authentic experience of what means to stay connected with nature and living slow and peacefully. The interior is so cozy and Anton provided everything we needed. He did more than we could expect from any other host and we will be always grateful!! This is the real essence of living a place as a guest and not as a tourist

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich,wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist gut eingerichtet! Es ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für viele Skitouren. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder,absolut zum Empfehlen!

We had a really nice and pleasant stay at the cabin. We were 7 persons and enjoyed in the winter the jacuzzi, sauna and saw the northern lights from the apartment! The cabin isn't missing anything and you can spend time for activities in the area e.g. dog sledging, northern lights tours or snowmobile tours. We really enjoyed our week. Susann is the perfect host, with excellent recommendations and really quick answers.

We are grateful for Robert’s kindness. He is incredibly kind, considerate, and provides very prompt feedback. The accommodation was also an excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
