The only gripe I will say I had was the lighting - the house as a whole was very dim and not very bright, which made it hard for us to hang out in the living room. Other than that - this was an amazing house with a great location and plenty of sleeping space!

Charming and unique 3-level cabin built on a steep hillside that feels very private and secluded. Very roomy for our party of 6. The king size beds were very comfortable, cabin was well furnished. Loved that theatre room! Living room is very inviting gathering place with nice wood fireplace. Lot’s of outdoor deck space to hang out, too. Easier to find home from lower cul-de-sac entrance. Use upper driveway entrance from highway to avoid stairs but may be intimidating with steep and curvy turns. Shelley is an excellent and communicative host. Great location only a 5 min drive from town.

K.C. was a great host and very quick to respond. His cabin was perfect for 2 people. The kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was very nice, tv had Netflix, and the jacuzzi was amazing. The location is perfect. It’s walking distance to a delicious donut place (Dank Donuts) and less than 10minute drive to The Village. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was super nice and a close like 10 minute drive to restaurants, markets, and stores. The house is super cute and had a nice fenced in backyard which was nice for our pups.

I appreciated how clean the place was and how all the linen was fresh. The place had lots of games that the kids really enjoyed and everyone enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub also.

My family and I Love it here. This cabin had everything we needed, cozy, nice and warm. We got to experience the snow, rain and sunny day. Great location, Everything felt so relaxing! It was a great get away from us. It did not had a laundry which with kids can get pretty bad with all the extra snow clothes. But, this probably and the amazing host definitely it’s a 5 stars.

This little cabin was exactly what we needed to get out of the loud busy city of Los Angeles. I needed a little get away after having my baby 6 weeks ago and this cabin was perfect. It was as listed, very cosy, private and Gabby was really friendly at communicating. I traveled with my fur baby as well and Gaby had no issue with it, which is something very important to all fur parents. The kitchen was amazing, it had everything we needed, the best part was the basement, which we spend most of our days watching movies in their home theather. I would definitely book again.

We fell in love with this place! It is whimsical, warm and inviting. You’re going to want to curl up with a nice book in the cozy space upstairs. The hot tub is so serene as well. Also recommend going on a walk and taking in nature. If you’re looking to recharge, this is it!

Came with my girlfriend and dog for spring break. Stayed three days two nights. Came right after rain so it was freshly snowed. Perfect spot for a nature getaway. Everything was perfect except a few cobwebs and maybe bring your own pillowcase!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, private, well stocked, and the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We liked the location as it was close to shops and restaurants in The Village. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Brian was a wonderful host and very attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was very cozy and clean! Also, very close to the Idyllwild town! The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful! Hosts Lisa and Taylor were very kind and helpful! Instructions were very clear and had a fast response time! Lovely place, we had a great time!

Had a great long weekend with my boyfriend and dogs. The house was cozy, the jakuzzi felt great, and the house had everything we needed. We wished we could have stayed longer. We plan to be back soon!

Charming Cozy Stay in the Snow! We had a wonderful stay at this cute little Airbnb in Idyllwild! The space was perfect for two adults (and small pet-friendly too, which was a huge plus for us). The backyard is super big plenty of room to let your pup roam around. We visited during snowfall, and the whole experience felt like a winter wonderland. The home was warm, cozy, and just a short distance from the main village market. Super convenient for grabbing food or exploring local shops. Mario, our host, was incredibly attentive and responsive. He quickly addressed the small issues we encountered and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

Wonderful Stay at a Cozy Cabin near Snow Summit! We had an amazing experience staying at this charming cabin very close to Snow Summit resot. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the perfect mix of cozy comfort and beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living room’s fireplace was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of activities. The location is unbeatable—just a short drive to the Snow Summit slopes, so we had easy access to skiing and snowboarding. We also loved the nearby stunning mountain views. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air and relaxing with family. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Awesome stay! Extremely convenient for skiing/snowboarding. Loved not having to deal with parking or traffic. Will definitely come back again.

It was very cozy and comfortable, it was cold out but it stayed nice and warm inside. The parking space provided was nice and it was close to the town center (about 1 min drive). It had all the amenities you could want for cooking and such. The bathroom was spacious and the water was nice and warm. The bedroom was on the smaller side, but big enough for 2 people and all our stuff we brought. The living area is also nice and it was cool that the tv was on a moveable stand so we could watch from bed or from the bar. We did find the fridge to be quite small but we made it work, If you plan on staying longer than we did I would recommend bringing a cooler with ice just incase. Lisa was very friendly and helpful host and answered all our questions. Would stay again!

This house is Amazing! We love it. Robert is a good Host. He was kind and responded quickly!

Matt‘s house did not disappoint. We had plenty of parking for our four vehicles and check-in was a breeze with keyless entry. We walked in and, to be honest, the house was even nicer than the photos on the Airbnb listing. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of storage as well as a huge fridge/freezer for the food that we brought. The living room was cozy, and there was lots of seating for everybody. I don’t think we realized, when booking this, that the house is three levels. The basement level is the game room, but also has the two bunkbeds as shown in the photos. The downstairs leads out to the spa, which was great. Just a tip, be sure to turn the spa on quite early before you want to get in as it did take some time to heat up. All of our guests loved their rooms. Each space was decorated so thoughtfully. My husband and I stayed upstairs in the master bedroom (The Eagles Nest) and it was an amazing space with a really beautiful private bath. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 3rd time staying at Matt's cabin. It never disappoints. Matt is responsive and super friendly. The cabin is always a clean, comfortable place to stay. It gets pretty cold in Crestline. When we stayed, the lows were in the high 20s, but with the heating provided and the cozy fireplace, we were VERY comfortable. The shower had GREAT water pressure and the cabin has an EXCELLENT water heater. The kitchen has refrigerator, oven, toaster, blender, utensils/plates and a pretty great stove top, so making a family dinner was no problem. I can see how some might say that the stairs to get up to the cabin can be challenge, but for us, it is doable and worth it for the privacy we got from the street (FYI we are in our mid 40s). This place feels like home as soon as you step into it. To be completely honest, I'd be really disappointed if Matt ever sold this place, because it is GREAT rent!... but on the other hand, I might consider buying it :)

LOVED this place! it was so cute and quaint :) all the details of the place were spot on and the beds were comfortable too (which i’m super picky about beds so this was a plus!) hosts were super responsive and kind. when we come back up the mountain we will definitely stay here again!

The Cozy Cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and the place was perfect. It is close enough to town to grab some coffee or a bite to eat. We also enjoyed just sitting out on the back desk enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature and the wind blowing through the trees.
