This is a good launch pad for more adventurous travelers to explore Petra and learn more about Bedouin culture. Abdallah is a very responsive host and a Petra guide himself, so he had many helpful suggestions for our group. This is perhaps best described as a family stay, as you will have your own room on the upper floor but frequently meet members of his family who live on the ground floor beneath the unit, who were all very kind and welcoming. At the time of our stay, it was possible to arrange breakfast or dinner prepared by Abdallah's mother for an additional fee, but note there is no kitchen on the upper floor for making/storing your own meals. Also note that the neighborhood is home to many animals, so I recommend that lighter sleepers bring earplugs, etc.

If you want to spend the night in Kerak, don’t want to go to the hotel and encourage a local, this place might be a good option for you. It’s vast and well located. The host is very attentive and responsive. Make sure to ask him if the AC is working. It was not during my stay and the suite was a bit warm… but the host gave me several fans to make my stay comfortable.

Safwan et Mohamed sont extrêmement accueillants. Le logement proposé est notre meilleur Airbnb de Jordanie. Si vous cherchez dans les environs de Dana, il faut absolument venir chez eux d'autant plus que la fantastique randonnée Wadi Al Ghuwyar est à 5 minutes en voiture ( vous pouvez la faire sans guide et c est franchement magnifique. Comptez 5h/6h aller retour ... canyon, jardins suspendus, cascade. Vérifiez la météo avant de vous embarquer. )Safwan et Mohamed cherchent vraiment à rendre votre séjour formidable, ils proposent le petit-déjeuner, le repas du soir, ils nous ont même préparé un packs lunch pour la randonnée. Un seul regret : n 'être resté qu'une nuit. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du BBQ extérieur, du four traditionnel ni de la tente bédouine. Bravo à tous les 2 et encore merci pour votre accueil au top 👍

The host was very attentive at all times, he was waiting for us to check-in even when we arrived very late at night. In addition, he offered us dinner and drink, very attentive! The apartment had all the basics, hot water, heating... Also, the next day we went to Petra and when we returned he let us shower and check out calmly! Quite a pleasure!
