We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

Bumblebee was an excellent property. Ideal for my husband and I our 2 adult children and their partners .....not forgetting Dave the dog to have a family get together. The property was spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The addition of an enclosed garden, hot tub and outdoor cooking area was great. There were thoughtful additions such as a welcome pack and items for pets. The surroundings were peaceful. Can't recommend highly enough it is certainly somewhere we intend to return in the future.

It was perfect for a weekend away with two little boys. the hot tub, board games and great selection of TV channels kept them well occupied, and we managed to get some couple time in too as the place was organised with a bedroom and living space upstairs, so they could do their thing, while we did ours downstairs! Thank you for a lovely stay.

The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet area, cottage was beautiful inside only issues were the damp inside the windows but to be expected from an old property, had plenty of utensils for cooking, very handy to have a dishwasher and washing machine in the cottage aswell, very peaceful weekend away and hot tub was an added bonus

With our son being autistic we struggle to find places where we can relax. The garden was enclosed so he was safe to play without any worries. He loved the hot tub, and it was in the perfect spot to get to all the local entertainment, rides and attractions.

What a beautiful, clean and homely lodge Red Robin 5 was. Lovely little touches, flowers, pillow spray, slippers and dressing gowns. Hot tub was ready for us on arrival and the place smelt lovely. We had a little getaway from the Lake District for two nights. Great little cosy place in a great location, surrounded by walks and not far from the beach’s. We visited the local pud and had a great meal. Melanie was very welcoming and gave us lots of ideas on what to do and where to visit. Would definitely recommend!

Little Walk Cottage is perfect for a relaxing break. The views from the conservatory are lovely. The house is warm and cosy even on the coldest nights. The bedrooms are spacious. The lounge and kitchen are well equipped and comfortable. Very highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay! The place has such a lovely, homely atmosphere - very comfortable, clean, and beautifully kept. Everything was perfect, and I really appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended

Alan & Jo were very friendly & hosted a lovely cosy cottage, located 10 minute drive from everything we wanted to do/see. Would definitely stay here again if in the area :)

Mollys Cottage was an absolute pleasure to visit. We arrived after a long trip due to traffic and was welcomed by Linda and instantly made to feel welcome. When we entered the cottage was very clean and everything we needed was available. We was greeted with fresh eggs from the chicken coop along with tea & coffee, fresh milk and the biscuits was a great added gift. Local to everything you need and far enough away should you want peace and space. Amber communicated everything we needed for check in and responded rapidly to any questions we had. Looking forward to our next visit in 2026 as we attend the Skegness Rugby Tournament with my young team. UTB 💚 Thank You Amber

Barbara and her husband were excellent. They truly went above and beyond, furthermore they’re clearly just really nice people. I’d highly recommend staying at their property! Note: Do read their listing carefully and bring cash (ideally change) to heat the property. This costs ~£1 an hour and is definitely needed in the winter. Still a million percent worth the stay though. Thank you so much.

We spent a very happy few days here, blessed with beautiful sunshine. We enjoyed some lovely gentle walks with our toddler and elderly dogs. The house feels like home, with lots of comfy seating, and much to admire in the basketry, pottery and paintings throughout the house. The kitchen is well stocked with pans etc to cook for a family. The dogs were welcomed and had the free run of the garden. The pub next door is handy for a drink and emergency produce from their little shop. Jade and Hannah were extremely friendly but not at all intrusive - ideal hosts. Would we stay again? I think we probably would!

This cottage is exceptional! Set in a stunning, peaceful garden. The River Witham is a few steps away over a little bridge. Kathy & Alan are so warm and friendly but don't intrude, definitely the loveliest hosts we have met. The cottage is very cosy and absolutely spotless. Kathy has equipped the kitchen with everything you could possibly need and left ample supplies of dish cloths, pan scrubs, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and liquid for the washing machine and toilet roll. We have stayed in other places that have supplied the bare minimum. Comfy bed & Sofa . Hairdryer makeup mirror in the bedroom drawer. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Alan told us to treat it like home, feel free to enjoy the lovely garden. It was refreshing to not have lots of do's & don'ts rules. The only checkout request was to leave the used towels in the shower. Looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet & welcoming place to book? You have found a little haven! Such a beautiful place, offering plenty of walks and being conveniently close to the coast. Highly recommend!

Exactly what we needed. A place to crash while we explored the coast line. Lots of info from the host about dog friendly cafes in the area was appreciated as we had our 2 pugs with us. The gate from the patio garden on to the lake was handy as my girl wont do her business unless there is grass. Cottage was big enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs and was 5 minutes max walk to the beach which was great. We tried Mo's Indian takeaway as there were menu's in the Cottage and the food was excellent. Thanks Carl and Team for a great stay.

My wife found Cherry Cottage for a short break. We didn’t know the Lincolnshire Wolds at all. Both the cottage and the area were beautiful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the garden area had fantastic views over the Wolds. Can’t recommend enough.

The cottage was clean and really nice. Becky was very good at communicating and gave us lots of local information. It was also only 10mins drive away from Cadwell Park, where we spent our days. We’ll look forward to staying there again.

Bumblebee Cottage is absolutely charming - we had a very happy, cosy week there over Christmas 2024. The cottage is very well supplied - there is everything you could need in the kitchen - and it's perfectly situated - on a very quiet street, but just a minute's walk from the centre of town, so shops, restaurants, pubs, etc are all very close by. If you are visiting with your dog, there's a park at the end of the road where pups can scamper off-lead, and the big Hubbards Hill park is only a few minutes' walk away. The main bedroom has a super-comfy bed - we slept really well. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend Bumblebee Cottage, and hope to visit again. Thanks, Polly!
