Loved our stay at Ryo's place in Lake Tekapo. It was perfectly located near the village area of shops and restaurants. We appreciated Ryo's decorating design touches and all of her local recommendations. Definitely would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charlotte and Chads farmhouse. The views of the snow capped mountains were spectacular, the photos just don’t do it justice. Surrounded by wide open spaces and farmlands, the peace and quiet makes for a relaxing stay. The home was comfortable and spacious for our family of 4, Chad and Charlotte had turned on the heater and prepared the wood-burning fireplace for our arrival given the chilly late afternoon arrival, which was a nice touch. It was convenient having a laundry and the kitchen was nice to cook in. It wasn’t too far from Lake Tekapo and Fairlie so lots to do and explore nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had the best stay at Kirsty and John’s. They were the nicest and friendliest hosts. We felt so welcome, and it was so nice being surrounded by so many animals and so much green! If we are to come back to New Zealand we’d definitely stay again 😄

Great rural location - perfect for the event we were attending at Claremont Hall which is next door. Not in town, so you need a car to access this property. But Timaru is only 10 mins away & has everything you may need (supermarkets, restaurants, shops, etc).

Ian and Tia were very loving hosts and attentive to whatever we needed. The cottage is fully equipped to spend a few relaxing days there.

Very accessible location. Great for backpackers! My partner and I enjoyed our stay. Very clean shared space. Perhaps the only downside to our stay was that we had noisy next door neighbors (not the host’s fault) and our room was next to the shower and toilets, which made us hear a lot of noises each time people used them. Overall, it was a positive experience and the price was very reasonable for the location.

Great place to stay in the country. Perfectly located 5 minutes from Timaru.

We stayed for two nights as a family of three at a wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location. We became very close with the dog, Zack, and enjoyed peaceful moments together, taking walks and going for runs. The breakfast prepared by Adele was delightful, and the freshly baked croissants were especially delicious. We hope to visit again someday!

Karen's place is definitely a once a lifetime experience. The perfect lake house that we dream about since we are little. The house is super spacious that could easily accommodate 20ppl. the best part of our stay is soaking into the hot tub outside the house, staring a the ✨✨✨ the only heads up is probably be aware that it is around 15mins off road drive before getting to the lake house.

The house was absolutely beautiful and located in such a peaceful, scenic area. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of calm and relaxation. The surroundings were serene, and being in the company of cows and even spotting a few deer made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a retreat away from the noise of everyday life. Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Excellent place to stay. Your hosts are super friendly and welcoming and the room was well equipped and perfect size. The soak under the stars was amazing!

Room opened onto a huge deck with peaceful view. The short drive to Lake Matheson was a bonus for the sunset walk around the lake for views of Mt Cook. Appreciated having space in the spare fridge for our groceries for our next couple of stops. Our hosts were very accommodating.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t have been better, and the spacious rooms were ideal for our large group. Jolie was incredibly responsive, extremely helpful, and offered fantastic recommendations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I were honeymooning in NZ and the farmhouse hut was a lovely little accommodation while we checked out the nearby glaciers. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen is highly functioning even with little space! We enjoyed strolling the property and admired Kirsty’s beautiful garden! The sauna is such a nice touch, seeing the sheep from the panoramic window is so cool. Kirsty & her family were very kind and hospitable!

This was one of the most magical stays out of our whole trip. The place was even better then the photos, from the star gazing, to the hot tub and a the two cute dogs! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need, and Amy was super helpful with helping us out with the fire and the hot tub. Will be coming back!

Wonderful place with great sceneries. Quite private and remote and still very short drive away from the nearest town. Andrew was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. the place is nicely done and if we had more time it'd been nice to stay a night or two longer. And super clear instructions in how to find the place (which was very helpful late at night in the dark)
