Beautiful, homey, and walkable to ALL the Highlands have to offer. Perfect stay!

We love the location and we loved the rental itself. The only negative was that you have to climb a steep flight of stairs and you are right next to gas stations garbage containers that are not very appealing. Other than that, we would stay here again but maybe on the apartment on the other side.

I have stayed in over 100 Air BnBs over the last few years for work, this is hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Beautiful place, breath taking views, and Mr. Don is one of the nicest, most interesting men I've ever had the privilege to meet. 11/10 recommend

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Airbnb! From the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful little details throughout the stay, everything was just perfect. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed (and more!). The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing meals, and the bathroom was stocked with high-quality toiletries. The host went above and beyond—very communicative, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations or any questions I had. They made sure I felt comfortable and at home, which truly enhanced the experience. The location was ideal—quiet, yet conveniently close to everything I wanted to explore. I loved coming back to the cozy and peaceful ambiance after a day out. The bed was so comfortable, and the space had such a warm, inviting vibe that made it hard to leave! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

I enjoyed my stay. The place was as described, clean, peaceful and quiet and suited my needs as a perfect, comfortable base for my vacation. The place is easy to get to, easy to find and has a nice view of the mountains. If you like cats, like I do, you’ll enjoy the company of two nice kitties while sitting outside. I met Jim and talked with him briefly. He’s very nice. Though Lisa was away, she communicated with me several times through messages to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely stay again, either at this unit or the adjacent one. You won’t regret staying at Jim and Lisa’s.

Great place, beautiful view. Kitchen was well stocked and is a good stay for a long weekend. Easy to find and downtown Franklin has good restaurants and breweries. Plenty of trails nearby

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Appreciated the small refrigerator and Keurig with pods. Clean bathroom with an exhaust fan. Plenty of closet and dresser space. I was very appreciative for the make up desk and mirror. We were in Highlands for a wedding and it was so convenient to have a place to sit and get ready! We had our morning coffee on the outside patio looking at the mountains.

This is a fantastic house and an even greater place to stay. if you like seclusion this is the place for you. absolutely loved my time stay at this house. would definitely book again

We loved so much about this stay! View is wonderful and the porch is comfortable to sit and relax. Bald eagle spotted on Day 1. We enjoyed the fireplace!! Tom and Carol are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond expectations. They even replaced the grill in case we wanted to use it. The place is a lot bigger and spread out than I imagined. They have everythingyou need. Some fyi things ....they have robes to use if you wish (one less thing to pack!), the shower is adequate but small and has an overhead spray so if you don't want to wash your hair, bring a shower cap. Someone previously mentioned no windows in the bedroom.... but I loved how this made it completely dark, so no need to bring an eye mask. It was so nice to sleep in! 🙂 We loved our stay, as well as the hosts and would stay again. Thank you gracious hosts for the 5 star experience!!

This was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed at! Everything about my stay was amazing! If you want to stay at a beautiful place with great views, I would highly recommend booking with Suzanne!

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

First of all, follow Debi’s detailed instructions and don’t rely on google maps! It is easy to find if you do. I got lost and Debi went above and beyond by meeting me at an intersection so I could follow her home. What a peaceful haven Debi has created! Comfortable and cosy with amazing gardens. I wish I’d had more time. I will be back!

Chris was very nice and communicative during our stay. My partner loved the place and so did I, especially the hot tub. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you are in the area looking to check out what’s there. The waterfalls are beautiful!
