Wildcat's Lair was a great rental for my family of six. The kids really loved the bunk beds and TVs in all of the rooms and we really were happy with the kitchen and the supplies for cooking/grilling. It was very comfortable for our family, very nicely decorated and beautifully landscaped. The location was convenient, easy to get to Highlands and Cashiers and the communication with any needs was very quick. I would stay here again for sure!

We visited Phillip’s lake house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday, along with a few of her friends and our family. Within 20 minutes of being there, our daughter asked us if we could rent again this summer! The house is beautifully appointed (the girls loved the leopard stair runners!), and the home was absolutely pristine. The owners have left no stone unturned when it comes to detail, instruction and comfort, and there was plenty to entertain our crew inside and out! The surroundings are somewhat ethereal, not to mention peaceful, even with 6 teen girls, a ten year old boy, and our pup! We all loved that he got to join us, and being the water dog he is, he was in heaven! Our favorites were exploring the lake in the canoe and other water toys, so generously provided, and star gazing on the dock! We can’t wait to visit again! This home may have become our new Highlands tradition!

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stay! I booked this sweet little cabin for my mom & sister during their visit from Florida to meet their grandson/nephew! It was perfect for our family gathering. Peaceful, serene, had all the amenities needed to cook in the kitchen, towels were available, TV & fireplace work great. Zachary was available by messenger for any questions! The only semi-cons is that the driveway is VERY steep. I’m a local, so this kind of driveway was no big deal for me, but for someone from Florida it may be scary to drive up. The hot tub was not clean/didn’t appear to be clean so we never used it. Bummer. Ultimately, i think the pros outweigh the cons of this place. It’s a beautiful place for family to gather!

What an incredible cottage. We booked last minute and were SO pleased. We hike, hike and more hiking so having a clean and comfortable place is always number 1. The home was peaceful and quiet and bright (big windows to see the beauty outside). The home was clean and had everything anyone could need. There were amazing instructions - never had to wonder. You could tell so much love and attention went into the home. We treated it just like our own and hope to be back. Great location not far from Hayesville or Franklin. The area is an outdoors paradise. Every cooking thing you could think of. Made cooking dinner so easy. The beds were comfortable and the master even had a fan - which I love. My husband left his phone charger at home. Joan even had one for his phone. Books to read and games and beautiful bird feeders to watch. Such a beautiful place. I so appreciated the no cleaning fee. We gave traveled all over and this one is one of the BEST! Thanks, Joan!

Very peaceful and secluded, cozy cabin with beautiful views! It has everything you would need to spend time with your family and friends. Diana provides pretty detailed instructions how to get there - just follow them, look for the signs with a street name, and you’ll get there. I would recommend going there in 4x4 with a descent clearance. Another Airbnb gem in my favorites!

We loved staying in Lei’s beautiful home for our girls’ weekend. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out. The house is in the most convenient location for exploring trails and downtown, and Lei provided us with the local happenings for the weekend, which was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed for cooking meals at the house. We happened to stay over an extremely cold weekend, and unfortunately ran into an issue with the pipes being frozen when we arrived. Lei was extremely responsive when I reached out and had someone local come by immediately to check out the house and solve the problem quickly. She was such a great host and checked back in throughout the weekend to be sure everything else was going well. Thank you, Lei! Highly recommend staying here for your Highlands vacation!

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

Holly was extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was much cuter and cozier than the photos depict. It was very quiet and tucked away in the beautiful NC mountains. The parking spot is a little short, but our minivan did fit. The road to the cottage is dirt and could be a little challenging for a small low riding vehicle. We did not have problems. We love the country so we took these things in stride. She had many small additions that made arrival and the stay special like caramels, tea, and coffee choices. You could tell by these additions and her exemplary communication that she wanted our stay top notch! We would highly recommend this cottage.

Our second stay at Debi's beautiful b&b was great! We're grateful for her and her space, sharing the nature and peace with us. Can't wait to return for a third time :)

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing time! The house was so well equipped- including items for little ones and dogs! We were excited to have snow and enjoyed sledding down the hill in the side yard. The fire pit was great too!! Andy went so far as to purchase an air fryer when we asked if the house had one. He went above and beyond!! We will definitely be back!!

This is cabin is MAGICAL. Heather and the co-hosts put so much thought and care into making it comfortable without changing the “rustic cabin in the woods” feel. The porch is incredible, the kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, and the entire space was just perfect for the getaway I needed to unwind from a couple of stressful months at work. I stayed there alone and felt safe and secured the whole time. It is close enough to the main road to run out for anything you might need but far enough off the beaten path to feel like you can just sit quietly and enjoy the sounds of the birds and little critters. It is a beautiful, special place and you can really tell how loved and cared for it is. Thank you for opening this lovely place to me and I hope to come back for another visit soon!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the Caretakers Cabin for spring break. The entire grounds were amazing, magical and well thought out. We were able to check out some local hiking spots as well as breweries/ restaurants! The kids would have been perfectly fine if we never left the property at all. They were able to run free and play in the stream. They also loved petting and feeding the animals. I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect getaway — peaceful, clean, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. The location was stunning, surrounded by nature. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. I especially loved the outdoor fire pit, jacuzzi and the comfy bed — so relaxing! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

The cabin was great! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Very cute and cozy, we really enjoyed the fireplace. There were a few ladybugs, but those were the only bugs we saw. We’ll take ladybugs over roaches any day! Judy was great and the whole stay was perfect.

The views are amazing! The deck was my favorite place to relax. My family and I enjoyed this cabin so much. It is beautiful and comfortable too. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were super comfortable and nice linens. Loved the games, puzzles and cards. The cabin is close enough to be in Franklin shops or restaurants within a few minutes, yet is so quiet and private. We visited in winter and would love to return in the summer.

My work friends and I all needed a refreshing getaway, and this place did not disappoint. We aren't hard to please, but the view of the water fall with beautiful creek in the back just left us speechless. The beds were cozy, the living space was spacious and the kitchen was incredible. We wanted for nothing in this space. I can't believe how well Tina anticipates her guests needs from books and color pages to a massive stock of cookware, and access to a grill. Getting to the cabin was a bit tricky, but our friend with the Subaru loved the challenge! I was so thankful to be able to bring my dog with me, too. Everything was chef's kiss and we definitely recommend!
