This stay was perfect from start to end. The place is spacious and perfect for two couples to spend a great weekend! We brought our dogs and they loved it also. The hot tub was our favorite part

Wonderful experience! We stayed for a few nights. Our group consisted of three families with school-age children. Children and adults alike were impressed with this house. It was beautifully decorated in a songbird theme and had plenty of things to do and space to spread out. The creek behind the house was peaceful to watch from the back porch. It was a short drive to fun places to explore, including waterfalls and snow tubing. Highlands, Franklin, and Clayton are all easy to get to from here. We enjoyed trying some new restaurants and perusing shops in the downtowns but also loved exploring nature. The house was well equipped for the meals we prepared there, too. Highly recommend! Tiffany was very responsive and provided a good guidebook with recommendations and instructions for the house prior to arrival. It was a positive experience all around!

We visited Phillip’s lake house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday, along with a few of her friends and our family. Within 20 minutes of being there, our daughter asked us if we could rent again this summer! The house is beautifully appointed (the girls loved the leopard stair runners!), and the home was absolutely pristine. The owners have left no stone unturned when it comes to detail, instruction and comfort, and there was plenty to entertain our crew inside and out! The surroundings are somewhat ethereal, not to mention peaceful, even with 6 teen girls, a ten year old boy, and our pup! We all loved that he got to join us, and being the water dog he is, he was in heaven! Our favorites were exploring the lake in the canoe and other water toys, so generously provided, and star gazing on the dock! We can’t wait to visit again! This home may have become our new Highlands tradition!

Stunning setting overlooking a beautiful lake; just minutes from town. Very private setting. Loved the history of the cabin- so authentic to the area.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stay! I booked this sweet little cabin for my mom & sister during their visit from Florida to meet their grandson/nephew! It was perfect for our family gathering. Peaceful, serene, had all the amenities needed to cook in the kitchen, towels were available, TV & fireplace work great. Zachary was available by messenger for any questions! The only semi-cons is that the driveway is VERY steep. I’m a local, so this kind of driveway was no big deal for me, but for someone from Florida it may be scary to drive up. The hot tub was not clean/didn’t appear to be clean so we never used it. Bummer. Ultimately, i think the pros outweigh the cons of this place. It’s a beautiful place for family to gather!

Loved the stay awesome Mountain View’s driveway caught me off guard really steep to get to the house but manageable was within 20 to 30 minutes to Bryson city ,Maggie valley but longer to get to gatlinburg pigeon forge only issue is the shortest route was closed due to damage from recent hurricane so the trip to gatlinburg was thru the dragons tail which is very curvy make sure to fill up with gas you will drive for 1.5 to 2 hrs of nothing the overall trip is close to 3 hrs but with awesome scenic views other then that this place was amazing would stay again for sure

What a wonderful little hideway! Just perfect for our little family, loved the waterfall nearby coming out of the creek and the hottub was amazing!! Cozy and enjoyable - will go back!!

We had an amazing stay at this amazing house. The photos don't do the view justice, it's an incredible view. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts very helpful! The town was only 20 minutes away too which was convenient.

This place was exactly how the listing and reviews said it would be…perfect. There were plenty of rooms, nice beds, and stuff to do for everybody (billiards, ping pong, horse shoes, corn hole, etc). The hot tub was huge, clean, and worked great. We all had a super time.

Hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed. The home was very unique beautiful view and spotless. The furnishings and supplies were amazing in the home did not miss a thing or need anything extra. Our little family will mark this on our return list!

What a wonderful place and friendly host. We booked for our sons wedding and the place was perfect. Aside from the steep driveway. The place was easy to find with outstanding views. Highly recommended.

This place was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, private, and secluded. After a day of hiking and exploring Bryson City, we decided to stock up on food and stay in for the rest of our 4-day trip. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, and I loved cooking while enjoying the stunning views of the Smoky Mountains. The fireplace and hot tub were both fantastic. The bed on the first floor was comfortable, though after a couple of nights, I developed a backache – it may have been a bit too soft for my liking. My son, however, was very happy with his bed on the second floor. One downside, which had nothing to do with the property itself, was the presence of dead trees, likely due to the timing of our visit. While the sunrises were beautiful, they didn’t quite live up to the pictures. Another small disappointment was the lack of hiking trails right within walking distance of the home. At least my dogs loved the daily hikes up and down the paved road.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It accommodates multiple families and is in a very secluded and peaceful location. Everything at the cabin was as described, and the host was always responsive. The wrap around porch is beautiful and a great way to spend time outside. We would absolutely consider booking this cabin again.

Amazing property. We recently visited for a week and could have spent much more time there. Everyone loved it. Kids were never bored, there is so much to do. We spent 3 full.days without leaving. Trails, fire pits, hot tub, zip line, Challenge run, swing, climbing structure, tether ball, horseshoes, corn hole and more outside. Ping pong, air hockey, Xbox, games, etc indoors. We went to Highlands for zip lining and Mountain coaster. Explored a few local waterfalls and did a fishing trip with a Franklin trout fishing guide. Wonderful stay. Ricky was always easily reachable and responsive.
