The view of the lake from the large back porch was awesome. A peaceful place to relax and explore the lake on the canoes provided. There was a green egg on site for cooking dinner. I’d highly recommend this location!

Beautiful cottage on lake. Very peaceful and close to town. The home was clean with all amenities you would need. We so enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the lovely surroundings. We look forward to booking in the future!

We had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. The home is very secluded with amazing views of the lake. Lisa communicated with us the entire time, providing a lot of information about the house and things to do in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend and hope to be back

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect ti get away from it all. Make sure you bring anything you need with you, the closest town is 25 min away. Great hiking nearby.

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

WOW!! What a beautiful gem to stay at for my son's wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased!! The double master suites made our stay with parents just perfect. Scott was always responsive to any questions we had. There was a landline in the home which actually was a lifesaver for a couple of last minutes communications needed. Great location to the venue and absolutely gorgeous lake views from every room. The house had all amenities needed and then some. We would love to return!!

This place was perfect! Super comfy, especially the bed and super soft sheets! Loved the screened in porch view, being elevated, looking down at the lake, felt so naturesque and private!

First of all, follow Debi’s detailed instructions and don’t rely on google maps! It is easy to find if you do. I got lost and Debi went above and beyond by meeting me at an intersection so I could follow her home. What a peaceful haven Debi has created! Comfortable and cosy with amazing gardens. I wish I’d had more time. I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Lake Nantahala is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was wonderful for a quick getaway. The porch overlooking the lake is perfect for enjoying the fresh air and while the walk down to the lake is steep the steps and pathway made it really easy. The space was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our favorite part of cabin was sitting on the dock in the adirondack chairs! Would definitely recommend if looking in this area!

Had a great stay! While a bit remote, the house was really nice and exactly as pictured. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location on the lake. Bob was responsive and has the house well stocked. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on and exploring the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has its own charm. The only thing that would have made it stand out more is a big fire pit in the back. The backyard is huge and the view of the lake and mountains was great. We always enjoy our stay on the lake.

Loved our time here! Convenient to shopping, great restaurants and many hiking trails. My family of four was very comfortable in this home - will definitely come back!

We loved our 8 day stay here. The area is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking with our dog through the property and down the road through the neighborhood. The cabin is dog friendly but you would never know it because it was quite clean. Philip and Michelle were wonderful hosts and responded and acted quickly when we let them know the lightbulb in the kitchen had blown. They gave us some great recommendations on places to visit to see some spectacular views and waterfalls. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Hands down, this was the best experience we’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The house was spotless and fully stocked with essentials for not only us, but our dog too (literally- they even had poop bags, treats, dog bowls, and a doggie bed). Kayaking on the Little Tennessee River was an absolute BLAST, and our dog loved running around in the fenced-in yard. Breweries, shops, and groceries are just a short drive away. We felt right and home and will 1,000% be repeat visitors.

This little cottage is an absolute gem! It's in an easy to find location, right on Lake Chatuge with a gorgeous view in all directions. Michelle was very quick, easy, and helpful to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The place had everything we needed to cook and grill, with super comfy patio furniture. The dock was perfect for fishing & sunbathing. The fire pit area was gorgeous and a great place to relax in the evenings and watch the sunset. We will definitely be back for another stay and recommend this cottage for anyone wanting a lakeside getaway and break from the busy world.

Perfect weekend! Allison’s cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed having coffee in the screened porch overlooking the lake. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are super comfy. Allison was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely book this beautiful cottage again!
