We had a very comfortable stay. The setting on the river was quite peaceful, and the home was comfortable. It was a quick drive to Norwich University to watch hockey and visit our daughter, also a quick drive into Montpelier. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in, and we enjoyed setting the puzzle. We will definitely stay again when we come back for another visit.

We had a wonderful winter weekend here. The location of the home to ski at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen is perfect!!! There is so much to do in the area. And the space is so relaxing and comfortable. Thank you! We can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Our stay at Sue’s well exceeded our expectations. The place was the perfect peaceful getaway. Such a beautiful spot. Upon arrival we connected our Bluetooth and immediately had our music streaming throughout the apartment. Sunlight streamed in, geese flew overhead as we stood on the deck overlooking the river. The sofa enveloped us and the fireplace just perfected it all. Sue was inviting without being intrusive and responded immediately when we reached out with questions. We hope to visit again in the near future!

June’s place is nice and cozy, great amenities including washer/dryer, beautiful views of Lake Champlain and Adirondack mountains. June was a responsive host and helped us get in to her place last minute with ease.

The place was beautiful, great view of the water. Me and my partner had a great time here. Would stay again.

Charming, cozy, secluded home. Everything was lovely, and our host left us extra blankets and pillows (which were very comfortable). Super pet friendly, our dog enjoyed the trip as much as we did! If you’re from a busy, congested area like my wife and I, this is the perfect place to escape! Would recommend to friends and family, and will be rebooking the next trip we take up North!

We were at Rich's place for a month. Super-nice guy; friendly and responsive; whenever we saw him he always asked if we needed anything. And he always invited us down to his firepit to hang out. We got locked out one day and he immediately got back to let us in; only waited 1/2 hour. House is in a great location; walkable to the Pro Pig and the Reservoir. Shaw's supermarket is only a 6 minute drive. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay at Rich's in the future.

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

There is so much that can be said. From check-in instructions to location, it was great. Even though we had a jam packed weekend with a Middlebury graduation, it was nice to return to such a serene location. Everything was explained in great detail. With the temperatures that weekend being so frigid, with us Floridians, the heating system made it oh so comfortable. When we were in the house, we enjoyed watching the locals ice fishing on the lake. Maureen went to great lengths to detail the use of everything in the house. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back up in the summer, would love to have use of the space and enjoy the lake.

The house is exactly like the photos. It’s modern, clean, thoughtfully designed and stocked. From the record player, to the quality linens/towels, to the variety of board/card games, to the fireplace, to the well-stocked kitchen, to the downstairs workout area. I can confidently say this place is fully worth the price. We had only one issue during the stay but the hosts were very nice and accommodating. They even helped us retrieve an item one of our guests left behind. The home is located right on the stream making for a peaceful surrounding. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and the drive to town wasn’t too far.

Perfect getaway for our family of 6. It was cold and rainy but plenty to do at the house. Kids loved the game room. We got to take a freezing cold dip in the lake and warm up in the hot tub. Thanks for having us!!!

Such a perfect spot in the Stowe area! We also loved that this location a little bit outside of Stowe put us a little bit closer to Jay Peak for those that want to ski both. The tiny home is right on a beautiful river; was bigger inside than expected and slept 4 comfortably; and best of all, Tyler was an excellent host - he was so helpful with our questions and was truly committed to it being a wonderful experience.

This is a fantastic retreat! Ash and Ryan were very proactive and easy to message with. The house is decorated so beautifully. You can feel the thoughtfulness within every placement of every crystal and decoration. The sauna was superb! My favorite moment was looking out the back of the sauna (and the windows of the house) watching geese fly onto the lake and dive for fish.

Beautiful large house for our 8 adult family members. The house was fully stocked of towels, and kitchen appliances and supplies. Loved the sweet treats they welcomed us with. Very Large comfy sectional couch in the main living room, we look forward to going back!

We had a lovely stay at Stowe. Everything was as described on the website. A very clean, quiet place with plenty of space for our family and responsive owners. Located in town and walkable to groceries, restaurants, parks and shops. Would stay here again! Thank you Ben.

Great place for a trip to Stowe. Super convenient location in walking distance to lower access road shops and restaurants. Nicely and cleanly decorated. Kitchen well equipped and super comfy bed. Would return for sure! Thanks!

Great spot. Felt like home. This condo is a little to the side away from the other condos which makes it more quite. Place is very pretty and well set up. Stayed here with my wife and kids whike skiing in Sugarbush. Since the weather was really cold my wife only ski 1 out of the 3 days and she felt very relax and comfortable. Will stay again.

I had a great stay at Sarah's place! The pictures online were exactly what I got. I was fortunate to have a large sliding glass door which opened up to a great expansive outdoor space view...exactly what I needed this weekend! The place was clean with updated decor and comfortable furnishings. I loved that it had a fully functional kitchen. The check-in and check-out instructions were comprehensive, clear and easy. Sarah was very responsive and a great host! I would stay here again!

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

My family loved our stay at the Stowe Nook, it’s the perfect location, close to everything in town and even the shuttle to the mountain. So convenient to have the grocery store right next-door. It’s a charming town and the townhouse is warm and cozy. My teens love having their own space downstairs. Josee is a lovely host and very easy to communicate with.

Thank you for the stay! We came for a wedding and it was super convenient/close to the venue. The place looked just like the photos and was super clean, very cozy. Never stayed in a cabin style place before and it elevated our experience in VT. Would recommend and stay again!
