Madalena : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

La vue sur l’océan est tout simplement incroyable. Le logement était propre et le séjour c’est déroulé à merveille. Nous n’avons pas eu à communiqué beaucoup avec l’hôtes mais ce fut très efficace lorsque nécessaire. La présence du spa était un atout très intéressant. Je recommande ce logement à quiconque visitant Pico.

very nice place, up on the hill, surrounded by green and sheep and lava stones, jacuzzi is top and that’s why we stayed there. we didn’t have a car so our activities were limited… walking to the village was about 30 minutes. the lights inside are not too charming and the chairs in the kitchen not too easy to sit on because they have 3 legs. bbq outside that we didn’t use. good place.

This place was amazing - better than it looked in the pictures. It was super clean and well-maintained, the view is unbeatable and the surroundings are so peaceful. The hot tub with the amazing view is a huge plus! Also, previous reviews said the hill to get to it was hard - probably because they can't drive a manual car in general. It is a steep hill but I had no issues with the tiny car I rented, if you know how to drive a stick shift properly you will be fine :) I will definitely come back here, the Tasca restaurant a couple of minutes' driving from the place is incredible!

Perefect accommodation for us and Very beautiful surroundings; we have enjoyed it. Teofila was very proactively offered a late checkout to give us more time enjoying the place because we missed our first night due to a flight cancelation therefore missed the ferry to Pico. I definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

Wonderful spot, authentic house and surroundings, special welcome. We love vibe of the house, space outside, many places to sit around garden and drink coffe or wine, easy grilling space, beautiful views. I think pictures doesn’t do a full justice for these wonderful place.

Avarat tilat ja mietittyjä säilytystiloja. Huikea hedelmätarha. Kotoisa ja tyylikäs samanaikaisesti. Paras ja mieleenpainuvin AirBnB jossa olemme koskaan olleet (ja olemme olleet monissa). Lämmin kiitos vieraanvaraisuudesta, jonka koki, vaikka isäntä oli tuhansien merimailien päässä. Toivomme palaavamme joku kaunis päivä.

Casa caratteristica in un’area molto tranquilla dell’isola, circondata dal verde e di fronte all’oceano. Siamo stati accolti da un'atmosfera di pace e tranquillità. La casa è il rifugio perfetto per chi cerca un contatto stretto con la natura. La vista è molto bella e le passeggiate nei dintorni sono state molto belle. L'host è stato sempre reattivo nel rispondere alle nostre chiamate per capire come raggiungere la casa. I piccoli omaggi al nostro arrivo sono stati un tocco in più molto apprezzato. Grazie mille per questo bel soggiorno.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Vor allem die private Terrasse und der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Garten mit den Tieren und tollen Blick auf den Pico haben uns super gefallen. Maria ist eine äußerst nette Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen große. Korb mit regionalen Leckereien sowie einen Obstkorb und sogar einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. So viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt man wirklich selten.

The view was absolutely amazing: full ocean view and seeing Pico Mountain. Also the bungalow was very cozy and nice. Communication with our host was very quick and helpful! We definitely recommend staying here!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier, der Blick von der Terrasse war immer ein absolutes Highlight. Anton und Steffi sind tolle Gastgeber und das Haus war mit allem Benötigten gut ausgestattet.

The views from our Lava home were absolutely incredible! The free breakfast was good ,loved the Portuguese pastries and cake .All the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful . We ate at Magma several times and the food was very good . The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress,just a bit firm for us .

We were very impressed with our stay at the Atlantic Heritage Luxury Villa. Coming from Canada, we appreciated the level of communication from Carolina (booking manager) prior to our arrival. She was able to accommodate our many requests from airport transportation, to food and drinks, including getting us a bottle of 2013 Czar wine (not an easy thing to do). The home was stunning and had everything we needed for our family of 6. Everyone had a private room and washroom. We loved the large dining room table to enjoy all our meals together. The grounds are private, safe and so peaceful. We absolutely loved the view of Faial and the infinity pool. What made the whole stay special for us was our on-site host Catia. She prepared an amazing breakfast every day, was available for anything we needed, and made many great recommendations. Catia was so kind to our family and she is the reason our stay was extra special. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back one day!

A beautiful home in an incredibly special place. The surroundings are gorgeous. We enjoyed walking to get our coffee down the road, and the Cabana bar directly across from the home was a treat! You will drive most places, but that's what we wanted - and the driving is beautiful and really easy. Also, the host is so incredibly kind. She went out of her way to give us great local recommendations and check in on us occasionally to see if we needed anything because we had a long stay - truly the kindest host :) Also, both my husband and I worked remotely for two weeks from the house, video calls, etc. and had no issues. Definitely recommend it for a peaceful escape, and you will go home feeling refreshed.

Um lugar especial, muito tranquilo, limpo, excelente para bebés e crianças. Ficámos duas famílias, muito espaçoso, com todos os utensílios necessários disponíveis e um anfitrião espectacular, sempre disponível para nos atender. Sentimo-nos em casa.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.
