This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

A wonderful escape from the city for any couple or family! Everything you honestly need is right in the cottage. We had a wonderful time just relaxing, cooking together and making great memories spending quality time with each other. The hot tub & fire pit made it extra special, this was my son’s favourite part! We look forward to returning in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful lake views & access!

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at a lovely cottage in Minden Hills, Ontario, to celebrate the New Year. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque winter landscape. The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful Paul was. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was quick to reply and always made sure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added a personal touch that truly elevated our trip. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and access to nearby trails for winter walks. We spent our evenings relaxing by the fire and enjoying the quiet beauty of the snowy woods. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals, and the thoughtful details throughout the cottage made us feel right at home. Thank you paul for everything - can’t wait to return

This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at in years. Alain & Paola are one of the few remaining hosts that care about the small details and personalized touch. The place was super clean, and I'm someone with high standards. The personalized message, guestbook and coffee, tea etc. I was very happy I could being my dog as well! She loved the outdoor space to run around. I'd stay there again!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Stayed three nights and four days during a late March ice storm. The wood stove was definitely our favourite feature as it allows us to cook food when the storm knocked out the power. There was an abundant supply of covered firewood outside. The tapwater has a UV filter so we used that to drink, but we also brought a tank of water which came in handy when the power went out. Follow the handbook and you’ll have a great time but you 100% needed a four-wheel-drive with snow tires if the temperature is below zero, the hills were quite treacherous due to the ice and snow. Chris replied to all of my inquiries in very timely fashion which was great and was always helpful. Overall, had a great trip and would definitely go back.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Le chalet de Cindy était parfait pour un couple ! Les grandes fenêtres nous ont permis de contempler la vue incroyable sur le lac. Cindy était très gentille et facile à joindre. Nous avons d'ailleurs pu lui emprunter des crampons pour la randonnée et nous aurions également pu emprunter des patins à glace et des raquettes.

Footprints is a hidden gem in the Kawarthas, a little paradise! lots of things to do in the resort, lots of space and seating areas. Swimming in the beautiful lake was perfect! We were very fortunate to have the entire place for ourselves for almost two days, when guests arrived for the weekend we found that everyone knows how to be respectful of your space. It was nice to share stories by the fire or by the hot tub with friendly people. We would love to go back!

We stayed at Myers Cave Resort for 4 nights with our two kids and had a wonderful time! The cleanliness and comfort of our cottage exceeded our expectations. Our favourite part was that everyone had something to do. We also really enjoyed the canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and boats. Thanks Myers cave! We will be back!

The sweetest cabin in a fantastic location. Super clean. Cozy bed. Honestly a total gem. Couldn’t recommend more.

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin on Marble Lake! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake and environment was gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay for adults or families - we'd love to come back another time. A few things you may want to know about staying here that aren't clear from the listing: -shared waterfront access to Marble Lake is beautiful, and great for swimming or boating - canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available -each cabin has a designated fire pit for campfires - BYO wood or purchase on-site for $15/bag. It was awesome to watch the sun set over the lake by the fire. -planning to grill is a good idea - there is just a small 2-burner hotplate inside the cabin. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one for $40/day or $80/whole trip. -you may also want to bring toilet paper - 2 rolls were provided but guests are responsible for refills -Bon Echo Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive away, and a must-see in my opinion. One of the most beautiful places in the province. Thank you to Mike, Nawar, and the great staff at Myers Cave Resort!

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Our stay at Michal place was excellent. Great place, very comfortable, jacuzzi and sauna were just what we needed. Water was great for kayaking and fishing , not the best for swimming. but in September swimming is not the best anyways. It would have been great is kids had balls or board games to play with. So next time we will make sure to bring some along. Other than that it was wonderful.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

Perfect spot for our girlfriend get away. Beautiful lake and beach and comfy beds! Our host was very responsive and helpful. Very well equipped cottage.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

We had an unforgettable New Year’s stay at this wonderful cabin! Perfect for a group of 10, the cabin offered a cozy atmosphere with stunning views of the lake. The spacious rooms, modern interior, and comfortable furniture made our stay incredibly pleasant. The jacuzzi was a highlight, providing warm and relaxing moments even in the cool weather. It’s an excellent spot for a holiday getaway – we will definitely come back again!
