This is our newly found happy place! Away from the maddening crowd, we spent 2 nights 3 days here with our doggo, on her annual vacation! The place is beautiful, the food is awesome and Lavanya and her family's hospitality was beyond words. The beaches are not very far from the Homestay. We visited 3 beaches and all them were beautiful and clean. We carried happy memories from Kannur, and we plan to go back soon. We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Asokan's home. The property has all the amenities and services as mentioned in the description. The host Asokan was always responsive and helped us in covering all the places mentioned in our wish list. The property is in a quite neighborhood and at the same time very near to the town centre and major temples. We felt we are at our home. The host was organized, easy to communicate and cared for our well being. Highly recommended place for stay and this will be our choice for future as well.

I had an amazing stay at DAIRA Art Residency! The property looks exactly like the photos—beautifully maintained and incredibly comfortable. A special shoutout to the host, Mr. Atul, who was extremely friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. His hospitality truly stood out. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Our stay with Naveen’s family was the highlight of our two-month journey in India. Hospitality often comes from training and business strategies to earn good reviews, but sometimes, it comes straight from the heart—and that’s exactly the case with Naveen and his family. We spent most of our time with his mother, whom we soon started calling ‘Aunty.’ The food was incredible, but more than just its taste, it was the love and care she poured into cooking and serving it that made every meal special. Naveen was always available, answering our questions and ensuring all our needs were met. If you’re looking for a true homestay experience and a glimpse into daily life in India, this is the place to be.

Let me tell you about my incredible experience staying at Shruti's place in Kerala. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the best architecture. The highlight of my stay was the beautiful swimming pool on the property. It was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The property was accessible to the town of Kanhangad and the surrounding beaches. This place is perfect for the quiet atmosphere away from the city hustle and bustle.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood. Divya is a great host, very friendly and caring. Though she resides somewhere else, she made sure that we were taken care of very well. Only downside is that the toilet is outside the house, which was little inconvenient for us - Senior Citizens, especially to use the facility in the night.

Great place with great views. We had great 2 nights stay. Host and the caretaker were very helpful for any of our needs. I would say this is a great stay at this price. Some suggestions- 1. Water bottle/RO is not provided there hence we had to arrange on our own during the stay 2. No food options from swiggy/zomato nor there are any restaurants in 2-3 kms range. We had to rely on a street shop who charges too much for average food. 3. Hot water is not available for shower. 4. Room has very less storage areas for your stuff. So it gets a little difficult to manage if you are staying for long. Apart from this i guess you will feel like at home because of nice hosts and once you open the door of your room you will forget everything because of the amazing views. We used to sit hours watching fisherman, birds, island and never got bored.

Our stay at the villa was really good. The house just feel like “home”. Nicely done interiors and decluttered. The villa is spacious for a 6 people stay. Lot of air and light in the villa gives a positive vibe. The place is very close to Payyambalam beach. You can see the beach from the 2nd floor balcony. Krishna was always available whenever help was needed. Kudos to maintaining such a nice house👌
