Madeira Island : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Stunning location and beautiful place to stay. Tents were clean and very responsive host. Will visit again when I come back to Madeira.

Wir haben uns in Anas Wohnung rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig, schön eingerichtet, super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Ana hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und mit allen wichtigen Infos versorgt. Sie war auch jeder Zeit erreichbar und reagierte sehr schnell. Madalena do Mar ist ein ruhiger kleiner Ort und war für uns die ideale Ausgangsbasis für unsere Touren in den Westen oder Norden. Aber auch Funchal ist schnell erreichbar. Im Ort selber gibt es gute Restaurants und man kann herrlich direkt am Meer entlang spazieren. Besonders schön war zu jeder Zeit der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster aufs Meer. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in Anas Wohnung unseren Urlaub verbringen und es gibt von uns eine klare Empfehlung für diese Unterkunft. Liebe Grüße Andrea

Wir haben die Zeit in der Casa de Janela sehr genossen, das Haus hat alles was man braucht um einen tollen Urlaub zu verbringen und die Lage und der Blick auf das Meer ist ein Traum. Alles ist sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Ort ist in der Nebensaison sehr ruhig was uns aber nicht gestört hat so haben wir Abends auch gerne den Grill auf der Terrasse genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit Mauricio und Claudia hat gut funktioniert.

In 2017, we had an amazing short break in Madeira and stayed at Casa Betty. This year, we couldn’t resist and booked it again. I highly recommend both our host Betty and her spacious, beautiful, and very well-equipped apartment. Betty’s helpful manuals and quick responses to our questions made our stay a breeze. We booked the airport transfers with Flavio, who Betty recommended, and they were perfect. We spent a lot of time on the huge balcony, watching the ocean with an espresso or glass of wine in hand. A big thank you, Betty! Keep welcoming tourists to this beautiful island. We’ll definitely be back!

Raquel is a brilliant host. She really took care of us - so flexible, accommodating, and kind. We could tell she just wanted us to have a good time. Her apartment is so beautiful, spacious and clean. It’s a very safe and well located apartment, just a 15 min walk or 5 min drive into town. We loved having breakfast / a night cap on the balcony. Bolt drivers have no problem finding the place. My only note is the hot water takes a couple mins to warm up but once it gets going it’s great. Raquel, thanks so much again for having us, you and your place made this trip all the more special.

Great location. We walked every day. Different walks & was able to do that without a car. Lots of local walks. Great watching the surfers.

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in Jardim Do Mar. Auf unsere 8 Monate alte Tochter wurde große Rücksicht genommen (Babybett, Hochstuhl, Schwimmutensilien für den Pool, ...) und auch für die Erwachsenen war einiges geboten: grosse Küche, ein toller Garten, ein grosser Pool. Alles war sauber und Lúcio hatte viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Jardim Do Mar ist eine zauberhafte Stadt, von der aus man alles Sehenswerte auf der Insel gut erreichen kann. Wir kommen wieder! :)

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Уютная и чистая квартира. Есть все необходимое. Машину ставили в подземный паркинг, что очень удобно. С балкона красивый вид на океан. Удобный матрас и подушки, приятное постельное белье. Интернет хорошо работал. Хозяйка квартиры Ири встретила как родных. Показала окрестности, порекомендовала рестораны и магазины. Всегда была на связи. Очень отзывчивый и добрый человек! Супермаркет очень близко. Есть где погулять. Мы остались очень довольны проживанием здесь. Рекомендую!

Ce séjour chez Annikka était une superbe expérience. L'appartement est idéalement situé, ce qui permettait d'être à moins d'une heure de route de toutes les activités de l'île (location de voiture fortement conseillée, voir obligatoire). La zone est calme et l'appartement offre une vue sur l'océan même depuis le lit quand on se réveille ! Il est rare de trouver une place disponible sur le parking privé de la résidence si l'on souhaite se garer en soirée, cependant nous avons toujours trouvé une place dans les rues avoisinantes comme nous l'avait expliqué l'hôte (en face de l'hotel Baia Azul par exemple). Tout est bien équipé et les instructions étaient très claires, nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter ! Laura & Rio

Sehr nettes kleines Haus mit allem drin, was man brauchen kann. Und ein schöner großer Garten, zum frühstücken und zum chillen. Leider konnten wir nur einmal draußen frühstücken, weil das Wetter nicht so gut war. Aber dafür kann Mariana nichts! Ihr Partner Miguel ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und bei kleinen Problemen sofort hilfsbereit dabei. Danke, ihr beiden!

Ronaldo greeted us when we arrived, they were very responsive and even sent local recommendations like restaurants and activities. The apartment was ideal, it was spotless, the scenery was amazing and it was even bigger than the pictures. The amenities within the apartment were great, everything we needed was there. A laundry room with detergent and cleaning supplies was available in the apartment, kitchen tools were available for us to use and so much more. The location was great, only about 5-10 minutes from Funchal’s centre and in close proximity to hikes which we loved. Overall we felt very safe and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Desde já agradecer pela simpatia da Mariana que se disponibilizou desde o momento da chegada até ao regresso do nosso apartamento. O apartamento é incrível, com todos os recursos necessários para podermos passar umas férias descansadas em casa e na piscina. A vista do quarto e sala é maravilhosa com vista para o mar e piscinas. A casa está devidamente equipada, limpa e organizada. Sem dúvida a repetir

Die Casas Na Ilha war sehr sauber, gross und wunderschön. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Pool und die Küche waren super für grosse Gruppen sowie hatte jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Badezimmer. Wir würden wiederkommen. Isabel hat sehr schnell und freundlich auf Nachrichten reagiert und das Check-In mit dem Türcode war sehr einfach und praktisch.

What a view! Amazing. During the colder months, I highly recommend paying to have the pool heated (30 euro/day). Once the water warmed up, we used it every day and it was comfortable even when the weather was cold. There were plenty of extra towels. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. House also has easy access to hiking paths (one trail passes immediately behind villa). The few drawbacks of the villa were limited seating in living room (an additional small sofa and some end tables would help for groups of 4+), kitchen has a full set of dishes but not quite enough for two meals (i.e., ran out of plates if some were still in dishwasher from the prior meal) and, for us, the clothes dryer was broken (hopefully will be fixed soon). None of these distracted from the chance to enjoy breakfast on such a patio. Orlanda was very responsive and even met us in town to show us the way.

We stayed for 5 days here. My kids loved the planes flying past the house, nice walk to santa cruz , sunny patio to enjoy lunch & drinks. No major issues for us , we will definitely look to come back here!

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Raquel und ihr Vater haben uns anfangs alles sehr gut erklärt und noch viele Tipps zu Orten und Stellplätzen gegeben. Mit dem Auto waren wir super flexibel, es hat uns problemlos alle Straßen hoch und runter gefahren, auch die ganz steilen :D Es war alles vorhanden, was man zum kochen, essen und schlafen braucht. Auch mittlerer Wind und Regen haben den Schlaf nicht gestört. Und was gibt es schöneres, als morgens immer zu einer anderen Aussicht wachzuwerden :D Wir haben die Zeit im Auto und Dachzelt sehr genossen und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen! ☺️

We really chose a fantastic apartment here! It's just like it looks in the photos and the description is accurate. If you want an apartment just outside the city centre, in a quieter neighbourhood (São Martinho), that has unbelievably stunning views of the hills, sparkling lights and the ocean, this is the one. The road is a dead end so there are no revving motorbikes or cars, only in the distance the typical barking dogs of Madeira. Going to sleep at night and waking up to this view was a stunner! We were there for one week and had everything we needed to make meals, watch TV and comfortably get ready (two of us). There are 3 balconies and 2 ways to get to the home. Be prepared to climb and descend hills if you don't have a car! But this is part of the experience. An added bonus was on-property cat, Hippie, who you get to feed and cuddle outside every day. She was such a sweetheart! Leonor is also one of the most proactive communicators on AirBnB. We had such a wonderful experience.

Séjour super dans cet appartement avec une vue magnifique et proche des sites tout en étant p'us au calme que dans Funchal, exactement ce que je recherchais ! Valery a été super accueillant, et nous a permis d'accéder plus tôt que prévu au logement. Super communication, bel appartement très propre et fonctionnel. J'y séjournerai à nouveau avec plaisir !

Our stay at Cais Dos Anjos was exceptional, exceeding all expectations! This was far more than just a place to stay; it was a truly immersive experience. We had the best time staying at the Crystal house. Fatima was an incredibly friendly host who welcomed us personally and gave us privacy during our stay. She even brought us Madeiran wine and bananas from the garden. The space is big enough for 2 persons, especially with the royal terrace and balcony looking over the valley and the ocean! This was exceptional! The road in front of the house is not extremely busy, but the cars are loud sometimes. The kitchen is not very big, but it has the basics and is good enough for simple dinners. The bathroom is also quite small, but it’s clean and well equipped. The location on the island was ideal for us! You can drive to the highlights quite easily, while still enoying the local atmosphere from Madeira. Muito obrigado Fatima! It was amazing!

Lovely homely house. Comfortable and colourful. Lots of personality , full of character. Very spacious. The views of town, hills and sea are wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Highly recommended.

This apartment was excellent. We spent 9 nights here. It is in a fabulous location. So beautifully positioned. It could not have been better. Absolutely top class. It was extremely comfortable. The bed was perfect. A lovely shower. Wi-Fi very good Antonio is such a good communicator. He even came to check that everything was satisfactory after we had been there a couple of days. I would dearly love to go back again.
