Emanuel est un hôte très amical et très aidant notamment sur les trajets logements/aéroports ainsi que sur les recommandations. Le logement est idyllique et la vue restera mon coup de coeur. La présence d’animaux (oiseaux et chats) accroissent le sentiment d’être au coeur de la nature. Cependant, veuillez-noter qu’il y a quelques passages dans votre patio d’une dame possédant une exploitation sur la gauche de la maison…. Pas top pour l’intimité. De plus, le véhicule reste obligatoire pour ce logement donc pensez-y.

We loved staying here in São Vicente. tYhis was our home base for a week while we explored the island. Vanada recommended our favorite restaurant from the whole week- Lavarador. We enjoyed all of the amenities and felt like we got the true Madeira experience!

We loved our stay, the location and the view are stunning. We used the hot tub a few times, lovely stuff. Place has an aircon unit and electric dehumidifier, so there is no dampness inside. The driveway is quite steep and twisty so small car is best.

This home is perfect for active travelers looking for a private get away. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle while still giving you access to quality food and outdoor adventures. We loved having the Jacuzzi after our long hikes. We found the car rental very convenient. If you have mobility issues this may not be the location for you as there are stairs to access the property.

Team at Casas de Pedro makes every effort for comfort of their guests. Self Catering breakfast provided daily fresh bread, fruits cheese, and deli meats. Very delicious. Architecture of cottage was beautiful of restored original construction and complimentary style addition. Camelia is a wonderful, restful and rehabilitating escape for a couple.

Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen mit viel grün und direktem Blick über das Meer. Es ist sehr ruhig und voll ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Man sollte ein etwas geübter Autofahrer sein und unbedingt ein Auto mit etwas Bodenfreiheit mieten, mit starkem Motor, aber nicht zu gross. Die Strassen im Ort und zum Haus sind zwar gut, aber sehr schmal und äusserst steil. Carlos und Mauricio sind perfekte Gastgeber und haben uns Obst, Kuchen, Brot und Madeira Wein da gelassen. Sie waren immer erreichbar wenn es Fragen gab. Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich die freundliche Katze die immer ums Haus war. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Le logement est impeccable, au calme dans un environnement dépaysant. Idéal avec des enfants, les services sont à proximité (restaurant, supermarché). La vue est magnifique et le propriétaire réactif. Parfait pour visiter Madère !

A Dream Come True in Porto Moniz! Staying at the Monte Chalet was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the charm and serenity of this beautiful rural retreat. The chalet is nestled in a magical location surrounded by breathtaking nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself was everything we could have wished for – cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed with traditional touches that made it feel truly special. The three bedrooms were comfortable, and the living and dining areas were perfect for spending quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen and the indoor barbecue area were fantastic for preparing meals, and the outdoor leisure space was ideal for relaxing while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Its proximity to the natural pools of Porto Moniz (just 2 km away!) and the Bride's Veil Viewpoint made exploring the stunning surroundings effortless. Porto Moniz is truly a magical place !!!!

Een heerlijke woning dat heel compleet is ingericht. Je kan hier makkelijk uit de voeten zonder auto. wij waren hier 3 weken en de eerste twee weken, hebben we ons prima vermaakt in deze omgeving. Je kan mooie wandelingen maken. Je kan op de hoek van de straat op de bus naar Santana en Funchal stappen. De laatste week hebben we een auto gehuurd, zodat we ook de andere delen van het eiland konden bezoeken. Maar wij zijn van mening dat dit het mooiste deel van het eiland is. Er is een levada wandeling op loopafstand. Luz van a House on Madeira is vriendelijk en heel toegankelijk. Ze reageerde heel snel en adequaat op onze berichten. Madeira heeft ons hart gestolen! En deze plek voelde voor ons echt als thuis. Dus wij kunnen deze plek zeker aanraden. Als je vanaf het vliegtuig een bus naar Machicio neemt, kun je daar de bus nemen en kun je achter het huisje uitstappen. Als je hier bent, moet je zeker een keer naar de plaatselijke bakker lopen!

The accomodation was nice, soooo quiet and peaceful. Only the bird chirping we can hear during our stay. the view from the covered terace was amazing. it was easy to reach the house by car. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb des Dorfes gelegen, aber mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Neben einem gemütlichen Ambiente ist sie gut ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Lage kann man den Norden Madeiras gut erkunden und den Urlaub genießen. Zwar herrscht in der Region eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, dafür werden jedoch Luftentfeuchter und Heizung zur Verfügung gestellt.

Villa Papaya is simply one of the nicest airBNB locations we've ever stayed in, of many. The space is elegant and the view is unforgettable. Sofia and Jose Alexandre were excellent hosts, generous in welcoming us, and always quick to respond when we had a question about the place or the area. We were glad we stayed outside of Funchal, and found Calheta to be accessible to most areas of the island in under an hour. We've only been home a few days and are already talking about going back to Villa Papaya with our kids!

Séjour dans un environnement fabuleux, on ne se lasse pas de la vue depuis les terrasses qui est magnifique. Nelson, notre hôte est très accueillant, sympathique et réactif. Nous avons passé un superbe sejour dans cette ville que nous recommandons sans réserve !

José ist ein super sympathischer Gastgeber und nimmt sich die Zeit, sich mit seinen Gästen zu unterhalten und um gute Tipps zu geben. Sein Haus mit Blick aufs Meer ist super schön, sehr geräumig und auch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft sehr genossen. José, wir kommen gerne wieder.

I can honestly recommend this host. The photos in the ad are real. Once there, we found a fully equipped house where we could feel at home. Fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room - everything you need to get settled. We have a closed parking lot outside, so you can park your car/motorcycle safely. I sincerely recommend it.

Eine wirklich traumhaft schöne Unterkunft mit Blick aufs Meer! Nach anstrengenden Wanderungen auf einer der privaten Terrassen auszuruhen war ein Highlight unseres Urlaubs! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft von Andreas und Peter uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

This is a beautiful historic home located outside the small town of Camacha, about 15 minutes from Funchal by car. Well set back from the road and area is quiet at night, mild road noise during the day if the windows are open. The home is just as described and pictured in the photos with one exception - the paint is mildewed and peeling off in a small section of the bathroom ceiling. The house was very clean and and during our 2 week stay, we also received one housekeeping visit/linen change with no extra charge. We had no need for A/C, and the radiators kept the house toasty at night. There were dehumidifers in the house but we found it dry and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. No rodent/insect issues. A sweet small dog resides on the property. There is a lovely levada walk in the back of grounds as well. Host responded promptly to all questions. Shopping center with supermarket, laundromat 5 minutes drive. Appliances worked well. We enjoyed it

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in het knusse huis van Aurelio & Sietske! De omgeving is prachtig voor mooie wandelingen en uitstapjes, wat zowel lopend als met de bus goed te doen is. Daarnaast zijn er allerlei leuke restaurants en terrasjes op loopafstand. Verder heeft het huis alles wat je nodig hebt en Aurelio & Sietske waren erg behulpzaam. Bedankt!
