Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

Beautiful space in a perfect location! Walkable to everything and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone I know, and I would love to come back again!

Lyndsey's space was large, light and comfy. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The house had plenty of space and a fully-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the beach (just at the end of the street) and walked to restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Lyndsey was very responsive and helpful. We have a great time. Thanks, again, Lyndsey.

It truly is such a magical place. The cabin was so cozy and we definitely spent a lot of time on the lake. This was our second time here, and we hope it’s not the last!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

What an amazing view in a lovely town with great beach walks and hikes close by. Could not recommend this place more. Amanda is a fabulous host, full of great recommendations and made certain everything at the flat was to our liking. We will definitely be back! Did I mention the view from the flat and deck was amazing? Absolutely mesmerizing, especially on a full moon.

It’s rare to find a place that’s both in a stunning location and feels like home. You’ll come for the breathtaking sea view from every room and the beautiful beach just steps away—but you’ll want to return for the comfort and thoughtful touches. The house is cozy and full of character, and incredibly well-equipped: a ready-to-use BBQ, a projector for cozy movie nights, and games that kept the kids entertained. They especially loved the rocking chair! Every detail made our stay relaxing, easy, and memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was really easy to access. This space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The host was amazing and super responsive with any questions we had. Walks around the resort were lovely, pools were awesome for kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

A spacious and relaxing accommodations with beautiful furnishing and relaxong furniture to enjoy the view of a forever changing sea scape , close walking paths and very quiet.

A lovely new condo. Very comfortable.. loved the new washer & drier in the unit. Great location… close to Parksville and Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire under cover outside of the lodge.

Lovely space. The view of the stream outside the window and the mossy wall was so wonderful to sit in the morning and enjoy with coffee. Clean and bright space.

Joule's stay was such a dream spot to celebrate my friend's bachelorette! It had a comfortable living space, full kitchen, the sleeping arrangements were great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Joule was highly responsive and we had everything we needed to have a fabulous stay. Thank you for ensuring there were champagne flutes, too! We can't wait to be back.

We had the most lovely visit at Mason’s place. Despite it raining a huge chunk of our visit, we had everything we needed in the house and the location was magical 🤩 Every time we wandered to the beach (water access with the house), there were cozy spots to chill and enjoy the sea life. We saw SO many seals, sea lions and otters along with all the birds. We would LOVE to come back when the weather was warmer to go swimming in the water and soak up the amazing views even more.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Amazing peaceful location. Large open plan with lots of separate seating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans. We will most definitely try to return and book again for another week of paradise. Daily we see sea lions and seals, many birds, and one day we saw dolphins.

Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation at Libby’s place. The home was very comfortable. The views were stunning! Great place to stay.

Rachel was very friendly and responsive from signup to checkout; that makes such a difference to me; I appreciated the ease, clarity, and friendliness in her communication. Her location was absolutely beautiful - the view is stunning - the quiet was restorative. Rachel's guest suite is light-filled, clean, and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious; we had everything we needed. The suite and the neighborhood felt very private and safe. The location is close to the village and there are so many trails and beaches nearby. It is an ideal place for one or two people to stay and there is a lot to see and explore. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here and wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Rachel's while on Gabriola.

Had the most relaxing stay in the Eagle suite, which has a private hot tub right on the patio. Spectacular view, comfy bed and the place was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was also a nice treat with the giant soaker tub, spa shower and heated floors. We brought everything we needed to make ourselves food, and the bbq more than sufficed (there’s a burner for boiling water if needed too). Thank you for such a lovely stay!
