Madeira : locations de vacances en bord de mer

In 2017, we had an amazing short break in Madeira and stayed at Casa Betty. This year, we couldn’t resist and booked it again. I highly recommend both our host Betty and her spacious, beautiful, and very well-equipped apartment. Betty’s helpful manuals and quick responses to our questions made our stay a breeze. We booked the airport transfers with Flavio, who Betty recommended, and they were perfect. We spent a lot of time on the huge balcony, watching the ocean with an espresso or glass of wine in hand. A big thank you, Betty! Keep welcoming tourists to this beautiful island. We’ll definitely be back!

Raquel’s place is wonderful! Great ocean and Mountain View’s, also the waterfalls views from the airbnb! The house has very beautiful big yards with vegetables garden and flower gardens. We even were allowed to cut fresh vegetables from the garden and eat! The Airbnb apartment is walkable to the town center, beach, and a great restaurant. Apartment is modern, clean and has everything you need. It is a great good size for 2 people. I will recommend this place! Thank you Raquel!

Unieke, prachtige plek! Wij hadden pech met het weer, waardoor we minder van de tuin gebruik konden maken. Ondanks dat hebben we alsnog genoten. Alles was aanwezig in de kleine maar fijne visserswoning. Ook voor onze dochter van twee jaar! Voor lekker eten hoef je niet ver: A pipa was onze favoriet.

This is a big house with 4 bedrooms in a great, unique location with beautiful views of the ocean and the dramatic cliffs of the north coast. While it is in a quiet location, there are two restaurants within walking distance. The rockpools are also within walking distance. We usually ended the day having sundowners in the restaurant right below the house. The host is very responsive and will mobilize assistance rapidly. For instance, when a light was not working, it was quickly fixed. Highly recommended for family and friends..

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in Jardim Do Mar. Auf unsere 8 Monate alte Tochter wurde große Rücksicht genommen (Babybett, Hochstuhl, Schwimmutensilien für den Pool, ...) und auch für die Erwachsenen war einiges geboten: grosse Küche, ein toller Garten, ein grosser Pool. Alles war sauber und Lúcio hatte viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Jardim Do Mar ist eine zauberhafte Stadt, von der aus man alles Sehenswerte auf der Insel gut erreichen kann. Wir kommen wieder! :)

Gostámos muito da estadia, perfeito para um casal. Localização excelente e condições muito boas. O estacionamento interior é sem duvida uma mais valia! Sugeria apenas adicionar um microondas e aquecimento, pois tendo visitado a ilha em fevereiro sentimos algum frio em casa. De resto recomendo! Obrigada Andreia pela simpatia e recomendações locais.

Уютная и чистая квартира. Есть все необходимое. Машину ставили в подземный паркинг, что очень удобно. С балкона красивый вид на океан. Удобный матрас и подушки, приятное постельное белье. Интернет хорошо работал. Хозяйка квартиры Ири встретила как родных. Показала окрестности, порекомендовала рестораны и магазины. Всегда была на связи. Очень отзывчивый и добрый человек! Супермаркет очень близко. Есть где погулять. Мы остались очень довольны проживанием здесь. Рекомендую!

Flott beliggenhet og fantastisk utsikt. Store rom og god plass. Det som manglet eller var ødelagt ordnet de med en gang. Vi hadde flotte dager der!

Casa muito espaçosa, numa localização muito calma com uma vista de mar sem fim!

Ronaldo greeted us when we arrived, they were very responsive and even sent local recommendations like restaurants and activities. The apartment was ideal, it was spotless, the scenery was amazing and it was even bigger than the pictures. The amenities within the apartment were great, everything we needed was there. A laundry room with detergent and cleaning supplies was available in the apartment, kitchen tools were available for us to use and so much more. The location was great, only about 5-10 minutes from Funchal’s centre and in close proximity to hikes which we loved. Overall we felt very safe and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Bardzo dobry kontakt z Mariana, sporo rekomendacji w zakresie atrakcji i restauracji. Samo mieszkanie czyste, bardzo przestronne z dwoma łazienkami i dodatkowa toaleta, duży taras (chociaż mało słoneczny). W kuchni zmywarka - tabletki, gąbki, szmatki płyn do mycia naczyń i herbata. W trakcie pobytu mieliśmy również możliwość zrobienia prania. W bloku znajduje się miejsce parkingowe, do sklepu spożywczego są 2 minuty spaceru. Otrzymaliśmy dwie pary kluczy, zamek w drzwiach trochę nieintuicyjny, czasem miałam pewien problem z otwarciem.

We had a great stay at Paula's place. She responded very quickly to messages and welcomed us herself and showed us around. She also gave us a list of various recommendations- both for places to visit and very good restaurants. She also helped us get a good deal for a car rental. The apartment itself was super well equipped. Paula had even left for us beach towels and a fresh bag of coffee which we found a nice gesture. The location is very good, close to cafes, a big supermarket and down the stairs to the beach. Yes it's steep to get there but this is Madeira! There's not much to dislike. Maybe the bed was a bit hard and narrow but we still slept quite well tired after long days. The water in the pool was also rather on a cold side but it didn't stop the kids from swimming every day.

La demeure est un oasis de calme et de beauté Les jardins sont fabuleux et la piscine privée a grandement été apprécié La vue sur la mer, les magnifiques couchers de soleil font de cet emplacement un endroit de choix. Heureusement que Bruno a été présent pour notre arrivée car la descente vers la maison est très abrupte et nous avions la frousse. Nous étions une grande famille et par la force des chose, avec une voiture de grande dimension. Si vous pouvez, comme mentionné opter pour une plus petite voiture c’est beaucoup mieux. La communication avec l’hôte est rapide et efficace. Notre famille avec 4 grands enfants ont trouvé l’endroit exceptionnel! L’espace intimité pour chacune des chambres, les confort et les accessoires étaient parfait. Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette résidence loin de l’agitation de la ville. Madère est une île à découvrir et cette villa est parfaite pour y résider pendant son séjour.

My friend and I used this jeep for the last four days and it gave so much freedom! Madeira is great to drive around and you can stay wherever you want with this jeep. Everything you need is included and the host was always very quickly in responding, for example advices to camp.

We stayed at Marco’s apartment with our 1-year-old baby and spent three wonderful weeks there. The accommodation is located in the sunniest part of the island. From the 4th floor, there’s a stunning view of the ocean from both terraces where you can watch the sunset too. The living room is bathed in sunlight all day and overlooks a peaceful park above the plaza. In my opinion, the apartment is even cozier than it appears in the photos and is fully equipped with everything you might need. We cooked and did laundry quite a lot during our stay. There are several restaurants, a hair salon, and a toy shop in the same building as the apartment. Across the street, there’s a greengrocer, and just a few steps away is a shopping mall. The playground is located in park just a block away from the apartment, and at the beginning of the street, there’s a traditional bakery filled with local delicacies. Communication with Marco was very smooth, he’s truly a wonderful host!

Всё очень понравилось! Самое главное что очень большой балкон-одно из лучших смотровых площадок на острове! Квартира точно такая как на фото. Всё чисто . Хозяин квартиры очень быстро отвечает на все вопросы . Мы остались очень довольны. Приедем обязательно ещё раз !

O espaço está bem localizado e completamente equipado. Realmente sentimo-nos em casa! Fomos acompanhados pela nossa cadela e até ela adorou o espaço! Para quem viaja com os seus animais sabe como é importante que eles sejam bem-vindos e muitos alojamentos não os aceitam. Obrigada ao João e a sua familia por nos receber!

We had a wonderful stay at Tiago's place. The location could not be better. Just steps away from the beautiful beach where we walked every day. We did not rent a car. Taxis are available, bus stop next to the development, easy walk along the beach to town. We found many great restaurants we could walk to or take a taxi, and some provided pick and drop-off for free. The house itself, is comfortable, spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. You will have to supply spices, but oil, salt and sugar are provided. There is a big grocery store in town with everything you need. Tiago is quick to respond to any questions. We stayed for a month and hope to come again next year.

Élvio is a brilliant host. He responds almost immediately and is very helpful. The apartment is very bright and spacious and the furniture and bed are very comfortable. It’s in a great location, right at the front overlooking the marina. There are a lot of restaurants within a couple of minutes’ walk and a large supermarket is very close by. There’s even a great rum bar just up the hill! The only niggle is that it can be difficult to find free parking nearby, even in February. If you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking the kitchen equipment is very limited but otherwise it’s fine. If we were going back to Calheta we would definitely stay there again.

Prachtige accommodatie, schoon, ruim met een geweldig uitzicht. Alles is aanwezig: vaatwasser, wasmachine, wasrek etc. Een auto is een must want ff wandelen naar de supermarkt is niet te doen. Het enige wat op loopafstand ligt, is de Pukikibar. Heerlijke cocktails en rum. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Een aanrader.

Séjour très agréable, la maison était impeccable. Vous aurez une piscine privée et une vue magnifique sur la vallée et la mer. Les lits étaient très confortable, équipements rien à dire. Nous sommes très content et nous pensons revenir à Madère.
