We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

Large, very private spot close to many activities. Responsive hostess made us very comfortable.

We had a wonderful few days of hiking and exploring from Jerri’s place with our college-aged daughter and our dog. This was such a cute and comfortable bungalow and the homemade muffins and cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. Jerri was super responsive to questions and offered several recommendations for things to do and places to eat that we enjoyed.

Chelsea and Joel's place was an absolute dream. Perfect house for 3 adults and dogs. Exactly as described with extremely comfortable beds in both rooms (the master one massages you. that was a fun prank on my hubs. Located just in between everything that it only took 35 mins to get to Duluth for sights and 1h25 to get Grand Marais. My only complaint (and its not a complaint) is that it needs a bigger fridge/freezer for all the amazing food I kept bringing home 😋. You have everything you need to cook and prep and head out to see the gorgeous beauty around. We stayed warm and even woke up to 3 inches of snow (shovel included) on our final day. We would 100% stay here again to take in all the great sites. 5 stars plus some!

I had a wonderful stay while visiting my daughter at Northland College. There was a small issue that arose when I arrived and the host responded immediately to take care of it. The area is very walkable and within drivable distance to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery. Would recommend this house to anyone staying in Ashland or the surrounding area.

Had a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and we have no complaints! Very cozy and fun place to be. She mentioned we should go again.

Great spot near the snowmobile trails. Jim was extremely accommodating of my family during our trip. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time - the cabin was tranquil and much more like a home than a cabin, the kitchen was excellent as was the master bath and hot tub. The Brule River is just steps away.

Viv’s place was very homey - I loved all the local art throughout the space. Had everything we needed and was clean. Easy to find even after walking from the ferry without cell service. :) On our way out, we already wanted to plan our next trip back to Madeline Island! With the location, I highly recommend bringing your car (as Viv suggested) or at least your own bikes since the rental place closes early. I’d definitely stay here again but would bring my own pillow. The ones provided were firmer than I’m used to, but my partner had no issues! Thank you, Viv!!

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great experience staying here!! It’s right across the street from Big Powderhorn and 15 minutes from Snowriver, a perfect launch point for my snowboarding trip. The place was comfortable and well-stocked with anything that I needed. I could tell that the host puts a lot of care into this place!

Spring break trip with three teenagers - enough space for all to sleep soundly and not bug each other. Beautiful living room/dining room area that made meal time together easy and fun - used the grill each night to make dinner. GORGEOUS views of Lake Superior. Absolutely loved the huge hot tub - sat in it outside to extend our time in the fresh air well into the evening despite colder weather. Enjoyed the coffee! Labels on amenities were very helpful. Check in/out a piece of cake, everything very clean.

Had a great time staying in Two Harbors at Chrissy's place. Loved the couch for chilling and the location was perfect for walking around town. Had games for us to bring to the brewery and anything else we needed. Smelled great too!

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..
