The Bougie Bungalow was so wonderful! This was a fun reminiscent family trip back to Norfolk to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. It’s well appointed, great aesthetic and design - spacious, yet cozy and welcoming! Lori was great at communication! My wife and I have been Super Hosts and have also traveled the world with Airbnb - highly recommend.

Rick was very easy to work with. This was a perfect place for myself and my parents. We needed zero entry and this place didn't disappoint. My dad was able to get around easily. We hope to be able to rent it again when we have more family with us and can use the space for visiting and games with family.

This home was immaculate! Spacious! It is much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It had everything we needed and then some. It appears the home was recently updated and it looks great. This is the 3rd AB&B we’ve stayed in & the first we set up ourselves (not part of a group). The bar has been set rather high. Everything from here will be compared to this stay.

Perfect place to stay if you’re working on the road. Josie has the place setup with everything you need to be comfortable. Has a washer and dryer which is super nice. If I could give it a higher rating I would!

Our group stayed in both apartments (A & B). Both units have been recently renovated with comfortable furniture, great kitchen, nice linens and mattresses. Unit B has 3 bedrooms, but only 1 bath; 4 of us managed, but it was rather tight. Josie, a great hostess, had to clean bathtub upon our arrival, which she did in minutes after being contacted. Unit A has 3 bedrooms but 2 baths and is much larger. A minor issue was the presence of a few bugs...nothing serious, just a bit annoying. All in all, we enjoyed our 4 nights there and would definitely recommend A and secondly B for staying in Norfolk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunset House. Melissa was a great host. Easy to communicate with and her responses were prompt. We were planning to arrive prior to normal check-in time, and she was flexible with us and let us check in early. The place was very clean and just as described in the photos. It is a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was also nice to have a garage to park in. They also provide many amenities in case you have forgotten anything. Our son will be attending college here in the fall so we would definitely stay again and recommend this place to family and friends. 5 stars!!!
