We absolutely loved Monrovia on Main. The house is wonderful for a larger group. Ample parking in the back of the house, well-equipped kitchen, cozy sitting room, bedrooms with comfy beds, clean bathrooms with plenty of linens, and best of all, the ability to walk to restaurants. We were in town for the Montpelier race weekend and walked to nearby places for dinner both nights. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

We had a wonderful time in this great house! The house was big with everything you could ask for. Our daughter was getting married at Rock Hill farm which is only 3.5 miles away and the house provided us a quiet, peaceful place to come home to after a busy day and evening. There were sheep grazing beside the house! We didn’t get a chance to tryout the spa and pool, but maybe next time. We highly recommend!!!

Great farmhouse…beautifully decorated..clean.. only there for one night… Wish we could have stayed longer… We definitely would stay there again if we were passing through the area like we were this time

We have been to a number of rentals, both Airbnb and others, both in the U.S. and abroad. Walnut Run Farm is BY FAR the warmest, most welcoming, most perfect rental we have ever been to. If the property were for sale we would buy it in a minute, even as we much hope John will continue to keep and care for it for many years as the treasure it is. In renting John's home (and it is absolutely and in every sense a home), you have the chance to live in an extraordinary country house on a large, beautiful piece of idyllic Virginia Piedmont farmland. If you can score a rental at Walnut Run Farm, grab it.

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Laura’s place was perfect for our long holiday weekend stay in Madison. The property matched its description precisely, offering comfortable beds, a well-organized kitchen (everything is labeled), and fully functional amenities. Laura was responsive to our questions but we had most of the information we needed in the house. The location was ideal for exploring Culpeper and Charlottesville. Everything was immaculately clean, and the internet and TVs worked perfectly. We would absolutely recommend this rental and hope to return in the future.

The place is terrific with all amenities !! Ten women who didn’t want to share a bed -we ate meals and had every type of cooking accessory, serving, plates stemware etc… Even fluffy robes to use with the sauna The house is delightful charming clean and well inventoried Eric was super easy to chat with and access was simple This was the second time our group stayed here - that tells it all!! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Irene's Cardinal Cove, and it was overall a great experience! The two-bedroom, two-bathroom setup is beautifully decorated, offering breathtaking views of the lake. Each bedroom provided a peaceful retreat, and the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Irene is an outstanding host, responsive and attentive to every detail. We can't wait to return! 🌊🏡✨

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

We loved our Christmas holiday stay. It was so easy to come and go and not trouble Bianca and her husband, due to the well lighted, private entrance. Like all other reviewers, we were so very pleased with the extra touches she provided: croissants, wine, snacks, breakfast foods of cereal/oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit. There were helpful signs throughout to let us know exactly how the facility should be treated. The furnniture was comfortable and the kitchen just right for our needs. I was appreciative of the nice hot water for shower and great water pressure. So relaxing. Most of all was Bianca herself, always offering to help (she even helped me load luggage into my car at the end of our stay). A very gracious and giving host. We recommend this accommodation for anyone desiring a comfortable suite and extra T.L.C.

Chanel was excellent at communicating and was so helpful in accommodating us for two extended stays.

Sara's place is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The firepit outside was a bonus for me to enjoy the night sky. Would highly recommend! One tip, if you are a light sleeper, recommend bringing some ear plugs since the house is next to the railroad tracks and trains sometimes come by at random hours of the night.

This is a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful place. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the second floor, on nice days, I really enjoyed the sunlight there. The large windows offer a great view of the outdoors. The hosts are very friendly and provided detailed instructions for everything along with restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made everything so easy. Their warmth and kindness created such a welcoming atmosphere, and they paid attention to every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time here. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was already booked for the following days. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

100% recommend this place! My fiancé and I have been using airbnb rentals for years and this place was one of our favorite airbnbs ever. Extremely clean inside and out, the fire pit and hottub at night under the stars was amazing. The inside was a lot bigger than we thought too! Full kitchen with everything you would need and very comfortable bed in the bedroom as well. This place is right near Shenandoah National park which we explored a 2-3 full days there. Our host was awesome and helped out us when I had a few questions. Also this airbnb is in the middle of this little town of a lot of farms so it was very tranquil driving to and from it everyday. 10/10 for this place. Highly recommend if you need to disconnect and relax from work/life haha.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and loved the cozy cabin! It was the perfect size and had all the accommodations we needed! The hot tub was also a great addition! Fritz was very responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend staying here for your next weekend getaway!

My stay was amazing the views are amazing especially in the hottub! Loved the grill we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Will definitely go back in the fall time 🙂

Joy's was a great place to enjoy our family vacation. The home was clean, comfortable and accurately described. We very much enjoyed spending our time by the outdoor fire. The desk space also was a nice amenity for remote work.

One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at with a tremendously responsive and helpful owner/host. The cabin was extremely clean and had amazing views around the entire cabin. The electric car charger was key and there were many inside and outside games including archery equipment that the kids loved. Direct access to hike the trails was pretty awesome. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this cabin to the most discriminating vacationer. Thanks David and Lauren!
