We had a great time! The home was as expected and very nice. We really enjoyed everything about it. The location, porch, hot tub and fire pit was all a plus.

Continues to be a go to place for my guests throughout the year!! Great location and facility, will be booking again for the 4th time soon!

Overall one of the best stays I have personally stayed at. Had pretty much all the amenities I could ask for plus more for a great price. Most importantly, it was dog friendly so our two fur buddies were able to experience north GA with us! (: We got to enjoy beautiful mountain views from the cabin itself, the neighboring town of Helen just 10 min away, and a couple of nearby hikes. One of the nights the water pipes did freeze over due to cold weather, but the host was extremely responsive and recommended a solution which we did eventually get all sorted out.

Loved our NYE trip here! Very quiet and beautiful. The home is very nicely furnished and decorated with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view is gorgeous and you’re close to several hiking trails and the Highlands. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the WiFi but it worked great for us. We streamed both tv and music!

This cabin is so special, it’s walkable to town but you feel like you’re in the woods surrounded by nature. The host makes you feel at home with great communication and friendly contact. Great place to stay, highly recommend.

We recently came to town for our son’s high school fishing tournament. This house is in a great location, directly across Lake Hartwell from Green Pond Landing. It was a short drive by car or boat. Having Portman marina close by was also convenient for my family of fisherman. The house was very nice and just what we needed for our weekend stay. We will book again if/when we are back in town.

I had a wonderful stay at Melanie’s place in Helen, Georgia! The house was incredibly clean and had all the amenities I could possibly need — I felt right at home. The location was great, within walking distance to some attractions, and just a short drive into the main village. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. I would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Helen!
