Kozma's property is very beautiful. It was just what we needed for a 1 night stay to go to a Zulu ceremony. Very welcoming place. Private and peaceful. We loved the chickens that roamed the property. And Kozma is a very friendly and fun dude to chat with.

I have traveled for business all over the world. You should also understand that I am typically a very hard person to satisfy and I’m also a very hard “grader” when considering services rendered. Ms. Cielie and her staff certainly know a few things about being an accommodating host. Other than my own home, this was the next best and most comfortable stay I’ve experienced to South Africa over the last seven years. If you have an opportunity to stay on their property, I am absolutely sure you will not be disappointed. I look forward to re-visiting Eshowe in the not so distant future. Such a cool place, rustic but super clean and well kept. Quiet, peaceful and loads to do. Matthew even took us on a guided MTB tour. Highly recommend!!

The Hatchery - Pumphouse (2 sleeper)

The Hatchery is a special mix rustic and relaxing. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun! We stayed in the Pumphouse, which was perfect for the 2 of us. En-suite and with Aircon - which was a life saver for the warm evenings! The water is safe for drinking, but we preferred to use bottled water. I would suggest bringing water and ice, along with groceries for meals. There is a fridge in your room, and a well stocked shared kitchen. All in all an awesome couple of days! Just a reminder - if you’d like to enjoy the wood fire hot tubs, have patience. It takes about 4 hours to heat.

Mam Ntombifuthi’s place was absolutely lovely to stay in. Clean and comfortable beds and bedding the overall house was just comfortable. I think her rate is a bargain for her place.
