Julie’s place is amazing. It’s extremely atmospheric and full of charm and character. It’s very classic. It’s beautiful. We saw the big troop of monkeys twice and enjoyed the bird life. The night stars are beautiful. Thanks to Langat for setting us up with two amazing campfires. The poolside and campfire area is incredible. My suggestion to the next visitor is to know how you’re getting your first meal if you arrive after a long flight (I’m sure Julie’s team can help with this during the pre-stay chit chat).

Amy’s place was absolutely breathtaking. We especially loved the charming pool and the stunning views—it truly felt like a getaway. Having Teresia around was such a treat; she was incredibly helpful with the dishes and made sure everything stayed spotless. We did have a small visit from a mouse (it is in the bush, after all), but the team responded quickly and professionally. Overall, a beautiful stay in nature with thoughtful touches throughout.

Great host who was happy to help at all times - he made me feel right at home and ensured I was comfortable. The house was nice and cosy, with lots to do around the local area. I would highly recommend Guyo and his apartment - i would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Christel’s. It’s gloriously peaceful, wonderfully comfortable and a joy to relax and unwind in.

Sellinne’s home is spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of wildlife sightings in the nearby park if you're lucky—I spotted a giraffe and some small monkeys, possibly young baboons. Next time, I’m bringing binoculars! The passing trains are frequent, but they didn’t disturb us; in fact, we enjoyed watching and recording them from the balcony. The three bedrooms are incredibly spacious, hotel-like in size, with excellent bedding. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Communication with Sellinne was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. It was lovely to see children playing in the small park outside. While there are several places to pick up basic groceries, there’s no large supermarket in the community. Getting to the apartment from Mombasa Road was a bit tricky at night due to street naming, address issues, and GPS inaccuracies. The feeder roads are rough, but as the area develops, I can see it becoming an even better location. See you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was exactly what we needed as a small family. Kitchen had all the necessities and Paulene was super helpful and friendly. Definitely our go-to for future trips to Nairobi.

My stay at Maureen’s Marvel house was awesome. The place is as shown in the photos. The place is clean, with clean furniture, kitchen well equipped. Having two beds was especially helpful for what I needed, worked perfectly. Maureen is a super host! She was quick to respond to inquiries regarding her house like when water was not heating in one bathroom a maintenance person was there in an hour. She gave me information on different issues as I requested including transportation, as a Kenyan but not lived in that locality before this was super helpful. Having spent almost a month in the house she allowed for later check out since my flight was in the evening. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. The only disclaimer on location is transportation as Ubers sometimes would refuse to go. The location itself is quite accessible but since the overall area is known to have some challenges accessing they would hesitate. Describing how near the road the house is helped. Thanks Maureen.

Truly an outstanding place to stay! We recommend you book it immediately. Honestly, even after looking at the pictures, the property exceeded all expectations. Great for our family of five people. Wife and spacious house, kitchen, and bedrooms. Numerous balconies off each bedroom. And the large patio out the back door was especially lovely in the mornings. Most of all, lovely people to deal with!

We had a lovely time at Bibi’s beautiful house overlooking the Ngong hills. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is worth noting that there are only 3 beds (one double and two singles) not the amount noted in the listing. But it was enough for us and other than that everything was accurately reflected. The veranda is a great place to sit and look out over the beautiful garden. Bibi was also super responsive , proactive and helpful. Thank you and we’ll be back!
