This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. We visit this area often and we are so glad we have found our home away from home in Waynesville. Thank you Steve and Susie for hosting us! Blessings, Steve and Amy

The day we checked in was the night just before Helene hit Asheville. We lost power on the second day, but luckily Lynn and Bill have a generator that secured our usage of power throughout the next a few days. On the third day, we lost the network. But the magical Lynn and Bill had a starlink that kept us connected to the outside world! The network not only kept us informed about the latest news, but also enabled us to send out important messages to the parents for some Asheville School students, so their parents could arrange picking up their children the moment they received the message. We literally became the information distribution center between the students and their parents. Can't thank Lynn and Bill enough for their support during such difficult time. Forgot to tell you that Lynn and Bill have got a beatuiful house and view, nice settings of everything inside. The days we stayed with Lynn and Bill are unforgettable.

The location is great if you want to be able to walk to popular downtown restaurants and shops. There is a lot of parking on the street in front as well. Beds are comfortable, there are three TVs and lots of local information provided. David was very responsive until the hurricane hit and we lost Internet! There is more of a neighborhood up the hill, so it is a little isolated, but that means that it’s quiet. For two unrelated people, we were very happy that we chose a place with two bedrooms and one and a half baths. The extra bathroom space was really useful. Thanks David!!!

This sweet place is lovely, peaceful, private but also social if you prefer, walkable, safe, and has everything you could need. I appreciated having a dedicated off-street parking spot during my stay. Everything is clean and fresh and well thought out. The bed was a dream and the linens were exquisite, must have been a very high thread count. This was the perfect base to explore Asheville from and thanks to Emilie’s recommendations, I had exceptional local experiences. I will definitely be back for another stay at the Chestnut Street Inn!

Kaitlin’s place was perfect for a weekend trip to Asheville! The apartment was a peaceful and cozy space with everything you need. I would highly recommend it for your future Asheville travels!

Amazing! The bed was so comfortable and we loved the sitting area in the bedroom. Very quiet! We loved the view overlooking the lake. Very close to restaurants and downtown Asheville. Staci and Tricia have a wonderful space that is very relaxing and comfortable. Plenty of towels and essentials you may need. Staci and Tricia were very responsive and great hosts!! we met them in our first couple days of staying there and we felt like we have known them for a long time. Great place and can’t wait to come back and stay.

Absolutely loved Traci’s place! From the baked cookies and available snacks, to amenities, location (everything I wanted to do was less than 15mins away) and comfort, Traci’s place really has everything you need! The last day of my trip, I literally rested most of the day because Traci’s place is so cozy and private, I felt at home!

Perfect for what I needed- a quick place to stay for the night, close to the airport, before an early flight home. 6 minutes from the Airbnb to ALV. Cozy spot with everything we needed for the night. 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Thanks Elizabeth!

Place was better then expected, nice to have the little extras (coffee, pancake mix with syrup and oatmeal). Slept like a baby in the bed and we are buying the same pillows lol. ( wife’s idea) Thanks again for the great communication Highly recommend

It's just as pretty as the photos and quite comfortable. I found it to be quiet, and it's walking distance to grocery stores or a short drive to just about everything else.

Me and my friend visited for my birthday and this listing was perfect! The bed was amazing, the space was very nice and clean, and the location was perfect for our activities! Very quiet and comfortable :) My only regret was not coming while the garden was in bloom! Will definitely be back to stay again and see it in it’s full glory though.

Excellent location! We were here for a week for a work training and were only minutes away from west Asheville and downtown Asheville (also very close to the blue ridge parkway entrance). The airbnb is clean, quiet and safe. Very peaceful in the evenings. We were very comfortable here and had a great stay.

Loved Molly’s Place!! Outstanding views - Was able to walk to Asheville Yoga Center, Taco Temple, High Five Coffee and even downtown Asheville. The rooftop deck was icing on the cake!! The only thing I wish is that we stayed longer to use the ginormous bath tub!! But we shall return!! Love Love Love

We had a great weekend stay at the Gathering Place! Got in some wonderful hikes and enjoyed the hot tub. Cozy furnishings and a peaceful and relaxing setting. Plenty of restaurants and things to do in close proximity. Thank you Ken and Laura!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely amazing! Everything was so smooth that I never even had to reach out to my hosts for anything. The location is perfect—super convenient to everything in Gatlinburg and just a short drive to Pigeon Forge. The home was spotless and exceeded my expectations. I appreciated the extra blankets, and the patio and hot tub were such a nice touch. The decor was beautiful, with an aesthetic color scheme that made the space feel cozy and inviting. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to settle in. One of my favorite details was the guestbook—it was so heartwarming to read about others’ experiences and to add my own. This was truly a wonderful stay, and I would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay in Candler. The host was easy going, dog friendly, and obviously cares about the property. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and a lot of extras. The hot tub was perfectly balanced and relaxing. There were ample linens and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture. And beautiful landscape. Not far from Asheville and had several hiking options within a few minutes drive. We will plan this trip again!

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. Frank and Peter made our visit so comfortable, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay in Asheville. They were quick to respond to messages and kindly greeted us upon our arrival with a quick tour of the space. They were so welcoming to our dog, and they left such thoughtful gifts for all of us! The space was very clean and extremely well-stocked with everything we needed. The beautiful neighborhood was easy to walk around with our dog and great restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops were a close and convenient walk. We were in town for the Asheville marathon, and we had everything we needed to make the race weekend easy and comfortable. It was also SO nice to be able to enjoy the hot tub afterwards. We will definitely come back again!!

Our host, Alex, was terrific. Very friendly, responsive and kindly lent my husband a belt for an event we attended as he forgot to pack his own from home! The space is perfect and meticulously clean. Bed is very comfortable and kitchen has lots of pans to use for cooking which we appreciated. WiFi is good as we needed to work remotely for a day there (desk, kitchen table and covered outdoor picnic table provided lots of space). Not to mention aesthetically, it is a gorgeous place. Alex suggested a great park around the block (Bent Creek Community Center) and the neighborhood is walkable. Of course Bent Creek has fantastic trails close by. Highly recommended staying here! You won’t be disappointed.
