Great place to stay on the Strand. Clean, quiet, and great service.

The place was very close to the beach- an easy walk. It was quiet and private. There was a pool for swimming. It was on the bus route if you didn’t bring your car. They provided everything- all the linen, consumables such as shampoo soap and loo paper s well as games books and DVDs and info on magnetic island. The place was clean and fans and ac in all rooms. Hosts made us feel welcome and explained how to get there and how to access the place with clarity. Lots of birds wallabies and also we heard a koala but didn’t manage to spot it. Had a great time.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location in North Ward was perfect—just a short walk to the Strand, great cafes, and everything I needed. The space was spotless, well-maintained, and had a welcoming feel. Check-in was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing getaway or to explore Townsville, this is an excellent place to stay. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Had a great stay at Coastal Comfort. Very convenient place right next to the strand beach with walking distance to almost everything. Clean, tidy and very attractive. Couldn’t ask more for the price paid, super worth for the money paid. Thanks Dan for hosting us.

The view from the apartment is absolutely outstanding! Wow!!! We couldn’t get enough of the view. Checkin was easy and walkable to a lot of great restaurants and coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay. it’s a beautiful safe and cozy place and I will be back to stay again next time I visit. Very affordable and a great location in Townsville

The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The bed was cozy, the amenities were top-notch, and the surrounding area was quiet yet conveniently located. Communication with the host was seamless, making the entire experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and serene getaway.

Fantastic view and the perfect apartment for me to be able to go to and from the branch for work. Proactive messaging was helpful about maintenence in the building so I knew exactly who to call if any issue can up. Great Hosts, I'll definitely be back

Beautiful home with a warm ambiance Great space for the children with games that we enjoyed playing. Easy walk and having the bus stop right there was such a bonus. Michelle was great with communication

We loved Richard’s beautiful home. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is beautiful and practical, with the two pavilions offering space and privacy. Beautifully clean and in such a handy location to town. Everything about this has the wow factor. We loved the pool, the indoor-outdoor aspects of the decks hallway. Thank you for hosting us. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Haven on Hale. A little hard to find at first but very central location. Easy walk to the Stadium. House was fully equipped and very comfortable. Will definitely be booking again.

My husband & I have stayed on Magnetic Island many times & always love it -Eleanor’s beautiful home was new to us. So peaceful sitting on one of several balconies watching/listening to teeming wildlife in the surrounding National Park. The house itself is fabulous with a lovely ambience. Having had a minor accident (not in the house!) I needed to rest an ankle for a couple of days - being in such a lovely situation holiday was not spoiled as it was a pleasure to just chill out in the house. Eleanor was a perfect host and I wish to thank her for letting us stay at Samsara.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Roxanne’s place and best part is we were able to bring our dog! We loved walking him down to Picnic bay for a swim (on leash dog beach) and grabbing a coffee at the local cafes. Roxanne was kind and responsive to any questions. We will definitely stay here again.

We had an awesome two nights at Linda’s place . 2 min walk to the strand . Beautiful comfortable home with great yard for our dog , we all loved it . Leo - 7 years old said “this is actually the best house ever “ We will definitely rebook if we are ever back in Townsville. Thanks Linda 🙏
