Mahahual : locations de vacances avec accès à la plage

I stayed at Perla's place in Mahahual for 3 nights and it was perfect for me. It is located on the main street where you can find all the restaurants, stores, pharmacies, etc. It is not even 1 block away from the malecón (boardwalk along the beach). You just cross the street and walk through a little laneway and you're at the beach. It's also a short walk to get the colectivo to Bacalar or Chetumal. You can't beat the location. The place was clean. Perla provided 2 towels and 2 beach towels, and left a couple of apples and a pineapple for me. The AC, wifi and shower all worked well. There was a fridge and microwave should you want to use them, though I didn't. And the bed was huge (king size). The place doesn't have bells and whistles but is perfect for what I needed and was exactly like the photos and description. Note: As other reviews mentioned it's on the main street so you do hear traffic go by, though with the AC on and earplugs in, I slept perfectly well.

Great place to stay, right across the malecon from the beach. Staff was great and friendly, very accommodating. Watch out for Dave. The apartment could use some kitchen supplies, cups etc. It’s on the second floor and the steps are difficult. We had a wonderful 10 day stay and will be back. Mahahual is a beautiful small town on a beautiful beach with great food and warm, friendly residents!

Agradeço ao Christi pela atenção e rápida resposta às nossas mensagens. O apartamento é ótimo, estava limpo, mas os armários tinham cheiro de mofo e a sacada tinha alguns entulhos. O apartamento não tem microondas (e isso estava claro no anuncio), mas recomendo incluir no apartamento. A praia é linda, mas invadida pelos turistas que chegam nos navios, é preciso levar isso em conta, é dificil usar as praias próximas ao apartamento se não estiver em um club e pagar para usar as cadeiras. Não há mercados bons por perto.

El depa es muy comodo, la vista a toda hora es increible, la playa tiene arrecife, pescaditos y es muy linda, para nadar tendras que ir a otra playa pero vale la pena la vista. Lo único es que revisen los olores del drenaje.

This place was beautiful just like the photos! We really enjoyed the view of the ocean front from the bedroom balcony. It was very easy to find and we felt very safe. There was a lovely paved walking path all the way along the beach with easy access to the calm beach. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and we'd love to come back again.

Excelente departamento hasta para 3 parejas o 6 personas, 3 baños y practicamente sobre el mar, excelente vista, tranquilidad, viento , ruido a olas , lugar soñado!!!

My daughter (13) and I stayed here for 6 days and had a wonderful time. Maria is a fantastic host, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I look forward to staying here again in the future! I would only note that we came at a very windy time which, unfortunately, brought A LOT of seaweed with it making access to the water impossible. My daughter does not like big crowds so the private beach is why we chose this house, as it can get busy in the village due to people visiting from the cruise ships.

Great home with a beutiful host family. This home has a fun and friendly feel that matches the laid back vide of the town. The location can't be beat, as it in the middle of everything and steps from the beach. Definitely one a the best experiences I've had, and would recommend this stay for travelers of any age!

Pasamos unos días muy agradables y de mucho disfrute con nuestra pequeña. Después de pasar la mañana en la playa; era muy relajante llegar a casa de Meredith (Nuestra casa por unos días) y descansar pasando un tiempo con mi esposo en la piscina. Jorge y su esposa; vecinos de Meredith fueron muy amables. Esperamos regresar pronto. Gracias 😊

La casa es tal cual está publicada, instalaciones limpias y muebles en perfecto estado, Julieta es muy buena anfitriona siempre está al pendiente y responde rápido...

Un rincón de calma y belleza. La casa es simplemente encantadora. Cada espacio está decorado con muy buen gusto, combinando lo rústico con lo acogedor, lo natural con lo funcional. Se nota el cuidado en cada detalle: desde los muebles hasta la iluminación, todo invita a sentirse cómodo y en paz. Está completamente equipada, no nos hizo falta nada. La cocina, las áreas comunes, las habitaciones… todo está pensado para que uno pueda disfrutar sin preocuparse por nada. La azotea es un verdadero privilegio: amplia, privada y con una vista que regala momentos memorables. Y el acceso a la playa, tan cercano, convierte cada día en una experiencia única. Una estancia perfecta en todos los sentidos. Sin duda, volveríamos.

Excelente opción para relajarse y disfrutar del mar. El alojamiento es cómodo y practico, cuenta con lo necesario para disfrutar. Emanuel todo al tiempo atento a nuestras necesidades y muy muy amable. Nos costo un poco llegar (confuso) puesto que esta a 10 kms del pueblo, sin embargo es justo lo que buscabamos, estar lejos del pueblo. En definitiva muy recomendando!

Geweldig appartement! Je kan er heerlijk ontspannen, alles was aanwezig. Van spullen in de keuken tot de badkamer. Het stadje zelf is niet heel bijzonder. Maar een heerlijk appartement om een aantal dagen uit te rusten! Goed parkeergelegenheid en duidelijke instructies van tevoren! Thanks!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway! I had an amazing stay at Cristy’s place!. The view was absolutely stunning, waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset was pure bliss. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cristy was super friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape right on the beach, this is the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Muy cómodo, buen wifi, sábanas suaves y excelente comunicación. Nos dejaron hacer check-in antes de la hora. Al estar alejado de todo puede ser complicado conseguir taxi para ir al malecón, pero lo resuelven pidiendo el teléfono de alguno de los taxistas.
