Great space to rent with friends and family! Very spacious, ample parking and great neighbourhood

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! Helen’s place was exactly as pictured plus many more lovely additions in terms of available supplies and even food items! Helen emphasized how everything in the apartment was for myself and guest to use, making us feel right at home and very welcomed. Parking is easy and steps from the main entrance of the unit. This is a very spacious place with comfy beds while also being only a short distance from the bustle of downtown Halifax!

Cj was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful house filled with so much to do, pictures don’t do it justice.

Nancy's backyard Brooke home was gorgeous when we first walked in you could tell that it was very clean we loved all the plants it was very spacious beddings were very clean and comfortable both washrooms were very clean downstairs was very surprising had a small gym lots of board games one of the largest TVs I've ever seen great for movie Nights the kitchen was fully equipped it was easy access Nancy even got my mom a bottle of wine for her birthday celebration honestly the host was great we had no issues it wasn't as private as we would like as my mother is a very heavy smoker but the backyard was amazing the deck was super large the pool was amazing she had lots of furniture the only thing that would have made the rental even better is if she had a hot tub because the pool was cold this late in the season and it would have been nice to get into a nice warm hot tub after the swim I had no complaints about the rental I only wish Airbnb gave me more space to write a better review

Best sleep I’ve had in months. Super gorgeous home with a hot tub! You can’t go wrong perfect location I’d come back to this air bnb anytime. Jay was also super friendly with all clear instructions. ONLY STAY HERE !! Thank you so so much

Nice neighbourhood, we slept well, mattresses and rooms were comfy. Flavia greeted us when we arrived and she is a very nice person. House is very “busy” when you enter the house you realize that the family lives in there when not rented which is ok. A lot of their personal belongings were still in the house, so don’t be surprised. other than that, it was quiet, we had all we needed to cook and rest. I would rent again.

Our stay at Mark and Kassy’s home was comfortable and relaxing.The home was spotless and well organized.The kitchen appliances and bathroom are in excellent condition and well appointed.There is back porch with a grill,gas fire pit and outdoor jacuzzi which we did not use. The home is located a short distance to the center of this charming peaceful town. We highly recommend this property and would stay again the next time we’re in Lunenburg.

Brooke’s place in East Pennant is adorable, quaint and very cozy! We enjoyed a lovely sibling weekend connecting and reminiscing. The scenery right on the water was perfect. It was a bit too chilly and windy for the outdoor swim spa but would love to return and use it in the warmer season. We had the pleasure of viewing a pair of eagles feeding on the shoreline. Nearby Crystal Crescent beach has lovely hiking trails. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Two bathrooms was an added bonus! Highly recommend a stay at Brooke’s place. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed here for 2 nights in March. We lucked out on the most beautiful weather. The space was beyond anything we could imagine for a relaxation retreat to celebrate a birthday. The space had everything we needed to cook, clean and be completely restful. There were extra pillows, blankets, amenities within the showers. The hot tub and sauna were amazing! the huge windows and natural light were a nice touch. All the light switches, and dials were clearly visibly labeled and easy to use! Jordan and his team were responsive, we had no issues or needs our entire stay! Will book again, and highly recommend staying at this amazing ocean side location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

We were in the city for a hockey tournament and loved staying at Zack’s cozy 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and quiet and a great location, close to the rinks! It was great to be able to have a larger space for our family and be able to make some meals rather than having to stay at a hotel. It was nice to be out of the city in a peaceful location away from the hustle of the city with free parking;) We will for sure stay here again!

We felt at home in Halifax at Pete's place, it was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Pete promptly answered our questions and let us check in early. Parking was easy in this quiet neighborhood that is still within walking distance from Hydrostone Market

Had a fantastic stay in this charming barn! Charlie & Rebecca did a great job designing this space, it's a perfect layout and creates a very cozy space, everyone felt right at home. Our two dogs loved it as well, the property is full of walking trails and felt very private and safe for them to roam around, and there are so many good smells! They loved laying in the sun on the big deck, and we loved laying in the hot tub! It was the perfect couple nights of relaxation. The lack of microwave is a bit inconvenient, but the kitchen is beautifully equip for all your cooking needs! This is a wonderful little retreat in a beautiful, quiet landscape, with amazing beaches and scenery all around.

This place was spacious, bright, private, and very cozy. Lots of towels were provided in each bedroom for us, and we really didn’t want for anything during our stay. There is a washer/dryer in this unit, so thankfully we were able to wash my son’s uniform after two games of basketball. So, his uniform was fresh and clean before his third game in the morning. Laundry soap and bounce sheets were provided in an easy to find spot next to the machines in the bathroom. Body wash, shampoos and conditioners were inside the shower for us to use as well. Papertowel and Kleenex which a must for any of air bnb stay, were provided as too! Anni really took extra care in providing the little extras that make for a wonderful stay. We loved the shelving and hooks in the bedrooms and a having a nice sized desk to sit at too that is away from the tv was nice. There are no tvs in the bedroom which we liked too. We highly recommend this spot.

We often have stayed at Sherry’s cottage this time of year, and everything was lovely as expected. This was our first trip without snow and we were able to go for a lovely walk at nearby Rissers beach as well as sit on the patio in the afternoon sun and read with a glass of wine. We hope to visit someday to enjoy the river and gardens on the property, the reviews in the book sound amazing.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thomas' place! It was very clean, private and homey. The little beach was just steps away and the views were stunning. Thomas was a great host and we would love to visit again in the future.

We were a family group of 5 adults and we very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms were pristine and spacious with incredible views via large windows . There were also cosy spaces for chats and board games. The wood stove was easy to use and provided a lovely warmth. This inviting home is very well organized ( loved the labels for the kitchen cupboards and drawers). We wish that we could have stayed longer.

Amazing place to enjoy our family Christmas under one roof. Spacious and so cozy all in one! We loved the fireplace and the easy access to the beach. There was a snowstorm when we were there and so we were nestled in all day. It was so beautiful to watch the storm roll in and feel so comfortable!

Cute, cozy space! Perfect for what we were looking for. Heather was a great host and added cute person touches like dog treats and snacks for us. We would definitely visit again!
