Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Jo and Peter were superb hosts, friendly, informative with a delightful continental type breakfast too, we never felt rushed and they were very unassuming with their flexibility. We would definitely recommend a stay with them and intend ourselves to stay again.

I booked last minute and received a wonderful welcome from Babs :) Her home is beautiful, lovely bedroom , very comfy bed, lovely linen, spotlessly clean, well situated on a quiet residential street , just a block from lively Lewes road which has plenty restaurants/coffeeshops/bars as well as good bus connections ! Babs also provides complimentary tea/coffee , continental breakfast with fruit and yoghurt , which was an unexpected treat, she truly deserves the superhost accolade! I will gladly return in the future and would happily recommend Thanks Babs !!

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

We loved our stay and Linda's - extremely easy to find and very close to both to South Down walking path and to the seaside. Linda is friendly, waited for our arrival and her homemade welcome treat was heavenly. We took away wonderful memories with us - thank you again :)

We had a great stay, a lovely and comfortable home & the outside bath and sauna are a nice touch, everything we needed in the kitchen for Xmas dinner. And lovely Christmas decorations for the holidays

Great place, brilliant location. We had everything we needed. Host had milk and butter in the fridge for tea, coffee and crumpets. Would definitely stay again. 5⭐

We stayed at the View for the weekend to celebrate my partners birthday and as a first holiday with our 5 month old puppy, Peaches. We had a lovely time, the house and grounds were stunning and so peaceful. We went for beautiful walks and bike ride and will recommend to anyone

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay in a perfect location. Lovely and clean with everything you could possibly need.

Fantastic location so close to the beach and pier. A really cosy and interesting flat which was lovely to come back to after a day exploring Brighton. We parked on Madeira Drive for the weekend which wasn’t very expensive and was close by. Would definitely stay again.

Phillida’s cottages are brilliantly situated for Dungeness, for walking to the far end of the Ness with its lighthouses and decommissioned nuclear plant; to see Derek Jarman’s Prospect Cottage garden; for sumptuous fish and chips at the Pilot Inn; for driving to Lydd or the RSPB reserve. We loved the cottage — well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. Dungeness is unique — a natural wonderland, an eerie lunar outpost of Britain. Recommend.

Great stay with everything we needed. We appreciated the breakfast food in the morning. Very nice location and a short walk to a beautiful beach stop. Recommended!!

Deborah was PHENOMENAL!!! It was an absolute joy and privilege to stay in her beautiful home in Hampstead. She is a seasoned and passionate host who loves getting to know her guests and curated an experience tailored to our interests. Deborah went out of her way to give us local recommendations, make restaurant reservations, and commuting tips. Her home is elegant, cozy, and very clean with several accommodations. I’m looking forward to staying with her when I visit Hampstead again in the future.

Lesley is a great host - exactly what Airbnb is all about I think. She is friendly and makes sure you have all you need to have a good stay. It is spotlessly clean with little extras around the place to help you out (tea and biscuits in room for instance). I was only there one night, and had a very busy schedule, but she made everything easy. There are frequent buses to the city centre from just round the corner but given the glorious weather when I was there it was a nice easy walk of about 20 mins into the Centre so I mixed and matched. I would absolutely recommend staying with Lesley if you are in Chelmsford. Thank you Lesley.

Niki has made a wonderful restoration of the property making it both homely and interesting. Niki is delightful company making one feel well looked after from the first contact. I shall definitely return when in the area.

We had a great stay. Lovely place, both the space itself - very cosy and comfortable - and the garden and surrounding area: beautiful, green, and tranquil. Carol and Guy are great hosts, very kind and accomodating, and communicate well. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay! A wonderfully appointed accommodation filled with quirky and unique furniture and fittings made for an amazing stay. It was spotlessly clean throughout, everything was pristine. Johnathan had been very helpful in sending me directions on how to find the property and lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. On our arrival he greeted us warmly and said that if we needed anything to just message him. We were really touched by the bottle of Prosecco and chocolates that greeted us and there was plenty of toiletries provided to use in the amazing rainfall shower(& lovely bathrobes!). After a good night’s sleep we were treated to a delicious breakfast including pastries, fresh fruit and homemade granola pots. We loved every minute of our stay(wish it could have been longer), definitely one of our favourite places we’ve stayed in and looking forward to staying again soon. Thank you so much Tina and Mike

Vivian is friendly warm and kind, so helpful and considerate. She made me a packed lunch which kept me going all day on my road trip through France. I was up early and she didn’t mind. I needed to start my motor bike at 4am and she said it wouldn’t matter, just get on and do it. Lovely hostess. I felt completely welcome and at home.

I really needed this little getaway which amazingly was only 35 mins by car but a world away from my regular surroundings. It was quite idyllic sitting outside in the evening with the hill view drinking my red wine and also in the morning, Susannah’s husband was happy to let me eat my breakfast outside my room on the table and chairs there. I really enjoyed seeing all the animals up close and enjoyed the field behind. I hope to visit again and walk a bit more around the land they own there. I felt like I had visited Devon or similar. A real mini holiday.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cette chambre propre et fonctionnelle, idéale pour un court séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix
