Lovely lodge with 4 small chalets about an hour from Port Elizabeth. we spent 3 nights there to unwind and relax. Beautiful view where you can host up to about 12 or more - big wooden table, big braai area, and a fully functioning kitchen with everything you need. The accommodation is on a small Game lodge / Hunting lodge with a few animals - (Impala, Blesbok, Nyala, Wildebeest, warthog and 3 or so girafe etc). The animals aren’t too exciting compared to bigger more expensive Game Reserves - but the place is remote and peaceful and has a really great view from the Hilltop upon which you stay with a big lawn. We also did a little game drive on the Toyota bakkie with the friendly Warden (which the 10-year-old kids loved) plus did many walks and enjoyed the birds. Host was very welcoming and accommodating with extra mattresses in our rooms and allowing us a late check out and early check in. Plus there’s a giant stuffed Lion in the lounge! Winner!

Very spacious house, loved the large kitchen, very comfortable. Huge lovely garden. It was like home away from home.

I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home in Grahamstown. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely comfortable—the space is not only well-kept, but has a truly homely and welcoming feel. It’s beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully set up with everything you might need. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience so easy. Their hospitality really stood out and added a special touch to the stay. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Grahamstown, and I’d definitely love to stay here again!

The house is very spacious and has beautiful views. The two fireplaces ensured it was lovely and warm. We enjoyed good hikes in the nearby hills. Anne and Stuart were very helpful at all times. The only downside is the dirt road has some terrible potholes and has to be driven carefully.

I was looking for a home away from home that my daughter could spend some quiet R&R time out of hostel relaxing and learning and I could have access to a full kitchen to cook for her. This is exactly what Terry's place is. Also has private and secure outside space. We will be back, with more family to visit.

Great farm house experience just 30 minutes outside of Grahamstown. The hot tub and the swimming pool made the place! Upon arrival - we were super surprised to be greeted by two friendly women - Nomfusi and Bongi - who had a fire started and served us with warm Roosterbread. Was such a lovely touch! And we didn't realize it but they basically 'came with the place' so they cleaned up after us at meals the entire weekend. Which was awesome (obviously we tipped them and thanked them a lot) things to do : we spent the most time in the pool and hot tub, playing in the garden and generally making food and lounging around. If you willing you can take the 15 minute drive on the bumpy gravel road and get to a great little river spot - with kayaks that you can use. We chilled there for the morning and it was great (although we nearly got stuck in the mud- we persevered and drove through!). Chloe was awesome - very responsive and always quick to reply Great stay!

Overall, my family and i had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone visiting Grahamstown.

The house was a lovely cozy place that far exceeded our expectations. Everything was in working order, cleanliness was up to standard and the hosts were really great & available when needed. We had a wonderful family time in the space.
