Amazing place, Frank was very responsive and went out of his way to pick us up which was such an amazing thing to do given the fact it was our first time in the country. City centre is a 10min walk and has an outstanding museum within a 5 minute walk which was bonus.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Ausblick war wunderschön und man konnte sogar die Polarlichter direkt aus dem Balkon beobachten. Ich kann die Wohnung weiter empfehlen!

Our stay here was absolutely magical, with breathtaking fjord and mountain views that felt like a dream. The house was cozy, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and designed for pure comfort, making it the perfect retreat. The highlight was witnessing the Northern Lights dance right from the windows, no need to chase them, as we had a front-row seat from the warmth of our stay. Every moment here was special, from sipping coffee while admiring the serene landscape to enjoying the peaceful surroundings. On top of that, our host, Knut, was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Everything was so perfect that leaving felt almost impossible. If you're looking for a scenic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience near Tromsø, this place is truly a gem!

we had a wonderful stay at this apartment! the apartment was clean, fully equipped and the terrace offered a beautiful view from which we were able to see the northern lights. its location was ideal, conveniently close to a supermarket, bus stop and just a short distance from the city center, making it easy to explore the area. the host was attentive and available whenever we had any questions or needed assistance. overall, a fantastic experience, and i highly recommend it!

The Airbnb was the Best experience I had so far. Everything perfect, Henriette even picked up us and drove to the place.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ingrid und Eirik war wunderschön. Wir sind spät gelandet und konnten trotzdem unkompliziert einchecken. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Zur Stadt sind wir entweder gelaufen oder mit dem Bus gefahren, eine Haltestelle ist in der Nähe. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Ingrid und Eirik übernachten :)

My stay at Veronica’s studio was fantastic! The studio was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The fully-equipped kitchenette allowed me to quip a meal whenever I pleased. Veronica was very responsive and answered all my questions instantly. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the center of town or a 5-minute bus ride. Supermarket is right around the corner from the apartment building! I highly recommend Veronica’s place.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het mooie appartementje van Betine en Preben. Maar 15 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Het nieuwe Vervet ligt op 5 minuten lopen en daar is een heerlijke bakker, waar je ook een kop koffie kan krijgen. Wij vonden het een geweldige uitvalsbasis.

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

Alt er veldig bra. Rene sengklær ligger framme. Alt rent og fint. Gode senger og utsikt. 2 gang vi er der. Husvært er veldig enkel og ordner ut. Utsikten er fantastisk. Anbefales!!

La maison est spacieuse, très bien chauffée (chauffage au sol dans l'entrée et les salles de bain très agréable), avec une magnifique vue depuis le balcon (d'où l'on peut voir les aurores par temps clair!). Tout était très propre et cosy. Nous voyagions avec toute la famille avec deux bébés (9 mois et 2 ans et demi), il y avait des lits et des chaises hautes pour les deux. La cuisine est très bien équipée, mieux qu'espéré! La rampe d'accès pour les voitures est légèrement en pente, ce qui peut être un peu glissant en hiver mais les voitures de location sur place (4 roues motrices) sont tout à fait adaptées. Il y a une supérette accessible à pied (3min) et une borne de recharge pour voiture à 5min. Tom est très réactif pour toutes nos questions.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

We keken enorm uit naar ons verblijf in Noorwegen en de host was steeds bereikbaar. We kozen voor een verblijf in rust en natuur met sauna en hottub. Voor het gebruik hiervan moesten we bijbetalen wat niet zo heel duidelijk staat vermeld. Voor deze prijs misschien wel wat meer hout voorzien want hier kom je zeker niet mee toe en vermits de prijs toch al prijzig is mocht dit er wel onbeperkt inzitten vinden wij. Het huis was proper, ruim en prachtig zicht. Wel een gevaarlijke trap naar boven, vooral het gat naar onder als je boven staat. Kinderen die aan het spelen zijn hebben dit niet altijd in het oog, misschien een omheining voorzien voor de veiligheid! De openhaard is zeker een pluspunt want we houden van deze gezelligheid. We hebben 5 van de 6 nachten het noorderlicht kunnen bewonderen vanop het terras. De keukenuitrusting kan misschien nog iets uitgebreider. We misten een mixer om onze soep te mixen en een vergiet om de spaghetti af te schudden.

Everything about this stay was amazing. The location is gorgeous. The view over the fjord from the deck is like a postcard. The surroundings are idyllic but only a 5/10 min walk to a frequent bus service into Tromso and the airport. The supermarket 10 minutes walk is one of the best we’ve been to. Lots of walking nearby in beautiful surroundings. The room is perfectly equipped (all kitchen things you may need) and decorated beautifully. Bed was like a cloud. Big TV with Apple TV for cosy night in. Little details all thought about: toothbrushes, toothpaste, little chocolates on arrival, wool blankets to take to the deck, dressing gowns, tea/coffee. Simen went above and beyond for us. He had so much detail about local recommendations, kept us updated on the aurora, gave us a lift home from the supermarket when we bumped into him! The sauna is a highlight, and again all details including flip flops and towels and a little fan. Really one of our favourite stays. Thank you Simen!

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly warm (which was perfect for the season). The view was absolutely breathtaking; waking up to it every morning was a highlight of my trip. Siv was responsive and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. The space was well-maintained and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a great view. We had an amazing 10-star stay - Ingrid had excellent communication before and during the stay. She sent the check-in instructions with lots of pictures, so finding the place and checking in was a breeze. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, toilet rolls, etc. The 2 bedrooms are good for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The wifi speed was excellent. And the location is walkable from most restaurants, tourist points of interest, and even the bus terminal! Ingrid was also kind enough to pre-book a taxi for us since we had an early check-out!

The apartment was beautiful and the views were stunning! We even caught the northern lights from the Balcony! Geir was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the lovely stay :)

Lovely, well decorated apartment- it’s clear the host takes pride in keeping it clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Fully equipped kitchen, good bathroom. The shower in particular had amazing water pressure! Really happy with this stay- would fully recommend as a peaceful stay close to Tromso airport.

Deze plek is en blijft fantastisch. Allereerst was het weerzien met Frank heel leuk. Hij geeft je direct het gevoel dat je zeer welkom bent. Hij is gastvrij en vrolijk. Het appartement is heel gezellig en mooi ingericht. Schoon, grote ramen, fijn bed, goede keuken-benodigdheden en een houtkachel buiten om een vuurtje te stoken. Het uitzicht over de kust en de bergen is fenomenaal en door het snel veranderende licht, raak je nooit uitgekeken. Het is een heel rustgevende plek en het was een waardevol ‘thuiskomen’.
