A nice place to stay to experience rural mersing. 25min drive to Mersing and 20min drive to Endau. Some nearby stalls are closed during the weekdays so be sure to check their opening hours on Google Maps before heading there. Room was clean and everything was in working order. There are some drinks and food you can buy from the fridge. One unpleasant experience I faced was a shower of heavy rain that was deafening as the room had no soundproofing. Most of the sound came from the toilet which has a plastic rather than concrete roof. I would advise to bring a pair of noise-cancelling earbuds or earplugs just in case of heavy rain! The nearby Mersing Geopark (aka Pulau Mawar) is a photogenic place to visit, but now has a hefty RM20 entrance fee for daytime and RM50 for overnight.

The accommodation was nice and as described. The hosts were very helpful for booking activities and transport to the city and the airport.

Comfortable, village-style accommodation, attractive house, sufficient basic amenities, you can bring your beloved cat to stay with you.

A place that’s suit family vacation! P.ketam is no longer a boring place at this home. They have provided more than enough to let everyone occupied! You can have a lot of bonding time with family and friends. The host had done more than beyond a host can do, she more like a great friend trying to let you enjoy the island. Please stay at this home if you are coming to p.ketam, you will not regret

Rahzif is a dashing self-confident gentleman. He is more like an old friend than a host. The house condition and environment is better than description in Airbnb. He spent three hours accompany my wife and I to take a special Mangrove tour which is much more than our expectations. The tour covered Mangrove forest with some special routs, bat cave, special ocean fish display and long distance sea cruise. Rahzif is willing to provide us with valuable information of local sight seeing and food as well. This is the our best experience in the Airbnb booking. I would strongly recommend this host, and the Mangrove tour in particular. I will come back again if I got a chance in the future. We want to extend our thanks again to Mohamad and Rahzif!

We had a fantastic stay! The kampung vibe was truly special, and my kids loved exploring the surroundings. The space was comfortable and welcoming, and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique experience!

Serene beautiful surroundings with kampung vibes, lovely breeze on the beranda. Kids roam free and stayed under the house most of the time - the 2 hammocks are a definite hit for them. House is comfortable for 13 of us. Added bonus of seeing lots of wild bats descending from Gua Keriang at sunset.
