A lovely weekend Birthday getaway! The peaceful view of the lake was so nice, and the hot tub was really refreshing! Would definitely like to stay here again in the future

The house was gorgeous and just what we needed for our group of 7, everything was as described, clean and well stocked. Kevin was responsive and took great care to make sure our needs were met. We loved the outdoor fire pit, sitting around the kitchen island, the walk in shower, and the great indoor fireplace as well. We’ll be back!

It was wonderful! being lakeside with the help of the weather gods, it was PERFECT! Three decks ourside,kayaks avialable. Spectacular view ourside and from most windows inside. The resident duck tribe added to the natural beauty. Indoors, a clean, fresh feeling, comfortable furniture and beds. It was a home run as soon as we entered the door.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We loved the comfortable feel and all the tasteful touches of this apartment. The view of the landscape, especially the pond in the distance was beautiful. I stayed one night longer than my husband, so I can say that the accommodations are great for one or two, very safe feeling. There are many hikes and walks in Colombia County. My favorite was a long walk around the pristine lake at Taghkanic Lake State Park, a mere 30 minutes down the Taconic. Worth the drive this time of year - very few other people and a beautiful place - highly recommend. Melissa was very easy to reach as necessary and very pleasant at every encounter.

Back again less than two weeks after my last visit. This time with my young adult daughter. Mom/daughter escape for a few days:) Delighted to see how she loved it as much as I did on my previous 4 visits! Everything about the rental is picture perfect…no matter the travel companions or the season!! Thank you, Heidi and Bob, for yet another memorable experience.💕

Our stay with Elizabeth was brief but very enjoyable. The suite is immaculate and peaceful. And the bed is incredibly comfortable. The setting is very rural with beautiful horse country in all directions. Driving through the countryside and visiting the small towns in the area is a lovely and relaxing experience. If you’re looking for a quiet, calming respite away from it all, you couldn’t ask for a better place.

My husband and I are huge LOTR fans and absolutely loved our stay at the Hobbit House!! It was cozy, peaceful, and a relaxing getaway. We appreciated the attention to detail, down to the keys to the cabin! We also enjoyed pancakes in the Pony Barn and visiting with all the animals on the farm!! Highly recommend!!

My boyfriend and I had the best time at Vanessa’s tiny home! It was so cozy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Vanessa was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The space was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we’re already looking forward to booking again. Highly recommend!

What a great space! My wife and I stayed two nights for a quick getaway and were not disappointed. The open floor plan on the main floor was as ideal for preparing and enjoying meals as it was for simply sitting and reading a book while reflecting out the large windows into the forest beyond. The skylit bedrooms invited in nature while keeping the snow and rain a safe distance away. The baseboard heat was sufficient to heat the space but the wood stove was a nice addition to create extra warmth and add to the rustic ambience. Not mentioned in the listing, but worth noting are two small waterfalls within a mile walk of the property. Both were worth an afternoon stroll down quiet country roads.
