we had the best stay, the windmill is unique, my children loved the tree in the room and also the fusball table. we loved all the small touches, such as slippers, chairs for star gazing and charger cables in each room.

We had a lovely stage at the cottage. Great location in Castletown with a lovely see view. The cottage was immaculate and there were lots of thoughtful little touches such as the bread, cheese, milk, butter chocolates etc. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again.

Great location, well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and exceeded expectations. Excellent views over shore and local wildlife. Castletown is a great base for enjoying the south of the island

Ellie's cottage has a long, beautiful and encouraging history (you can read about it in a documentary notebook by the window). It makes you feel privileged to have a chance to stay there. In addition to the rich stories, you may be surprised by many small details inside. Just to name a few: (i) the hob in the kitchen is an elegant induction hob that is both gorgeous and powerful; (ii) all possible types of plates, pots, cutleries, cooking tools, etc. are provided, potentially going beyond your imagination for many times during your stay; (iii) the separate game room, the existence of which astonished me already, contains many unique gaming options that may or may not be easily found on the market, including the Isle of Man edition of Monopoly. In addition to the exceptionally well presented cottage, the host Ellie and her family are extremely nice and helpful: extra flexible check-in, extra detailed information about every aspects of your stay, plus lost and found! Highly recommended!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David was very accommodating and helpful. Everything in the house is high quality and spotless. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. The outside space was extensive and well maintained. The location is good for exploring the island and a pleasant walk into Castletown. The addition of board games and welcome pack were a lovely touch.

Return visit to this lovely property, had everything that my daughters and I needed for a relaxing stay. Well maintained house with lots of facilities.(...and Lego) and good communications throughout.

As a group of 4 we chose the mil house for its fantastic layout and picturesque setting. The hosts Robert and kc were everything you would want for. always happy to help and up for a friendly chat. We wouldnt hesitate to book here again and in fact we've not evan been home 24 hours and are already looking to do so. Thank you for providing a home from home. Johny Jack Julian and Danny
