Elk Ridge Cabin is such a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the rush of life, and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodlands and lakes in the immediate area. The green yard with its live pond is utilized by many birds, chipmunks and squirrels. They were very entertaining as I sat under the pine trees next to the pond. What a great place to spend refreshing days and evenings for a relaxing vacation!

This place is stunning! I was headed to the Steens for a work trip and needed a home base. The cabin was perfect, and Jenna was quick to respond to a couple questions I had regarding accessibility. There were plenty of recommendations, and even with it being the middle of winter and right after some heavy snow, I was able to experience the beauty of the area. The place is secluded, comfortable, and easy to find - I can only imagine the star gazing in the summer! Would love to return!

I took my two dogs to this adorable cabin to get away from the noise of the 4th of July fireworks at home. It was perfect - I've never been anywhere so quiet and peaceful. No neighbors, no noise, just what we wanted!

Incredible little cabin! One of my favorite places in Oregon! Great location to get away and disconnect. The cabin is perfect for a small group.

Super cozy home and was a great place to relax and split our drive to the Oregon coast. We didn’t get to spend much time in town or do any site seeing. This home was very clean and the amenities were excellent.

Our extended stay at Howie's was great! The space was clean, quiet, and stocked with all of the necessities. Howie was respectful and communicative throughout our stay, going out of his way to shovel and plow the areas during several winter storms we experienced, and continually checking in to ensure our needs were being met. Couldn't have asked for a better host or space to live in for the winter!

just like the pics. no complaints 👌 BJ was very nice- didn't hear her once. basement was clean and spacious with carpeted floors everywhere. nice coffee station and washer and dryer available as well.. nice little stay

We had a lovely stay at this rustic, homey little place. Cheryl left us some fresh eggs from her chickens and fresh baked banana bread! We loved watching the birds in our private back yard from the window by the table. The kitchen was outfitted with all we needed and there were lots of great books and even a pair of binoculars to borrow! We walked right out the door and down the street to some amazing bird viewing including snow geese, bald eagles and Sandhill cranes! A perfect spot and fantastic, helpful hosts.
