Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

Absolutely fantastic cottage stay - most peaceful place we've ever been! Plenty of local walks/outdoor activities, and had helpful local suggestions from the hosts. Only regret was only staying a few days!

Lovely and peaceful, with super loch views and a relaxed vibe. Nicely curated and perfect for our elderly golden retriever as everything was, bar a few steps here and there, on one level. The covered deck is ideal whatever the weather. Would recommend.

Excellent stay at Helen’s cottage, so peaceful and very homely. Games room and hot tub are excellent. Would definitely stay again 🙂

What an amazing place! This was perfect for us and our two young children. After a day of travel, the hot tub was a welcomed way to relax. The kids loved it too; something they were looking forward to after sight seeing. The second night we experienced a typical Scottish weather day, especially windy and wet, so the fireplace was in high demand. And the views just breathtaking. Although we didn’t have time to utilize, it was a surprise to have both washer and dryer available on site. Everything you need to enjoy your remote getaway. Highly recommend!

From start to finish this was a great place to stay. Very cosy and welcoming. There was a well appointed kitchen and very pleasant dining area, the garden was beautiful with a 'hot tub' which we didn't use and there were plenty of towels and a couple of bathrobes which we did use. Rosemarkie itself is a lovely village which we have visited many times and this house is 2 minutes from a super sandy beach. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

Cosy acottage indeed. Well equipped and clean. Lovely host who responded to questions in friendly manner and speedily. Lovely village and short walk to the beach across the road. Will defiantly go back.

We absolutely adored our stay here. It was very comfortable and cozy, felt like home instantly. Walking distance to a wonderful restaurant that had been recommended. Mairi met us and was very welcoming and showed us around the property. Great amenities, very accurate description of property given. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you for having us!

Great place with fantastic equipment and set up, good kitchen and social spaces, overall spot in but worth noting it is quite close to the railway line, not a huge issue as it's quite a quiet line. Overall great.

A fabulous wee cottage and the surrounding area was beautiful. Great base for hill walking and exploring everything Loch Ness has to offer. Kate was very informative from the very beginning, always quick to respond to any queries we had. Loved the welcome items and the little bag of goodies for our dog. Would definitely recommend this little cottage. Thanks again Kate for being so helpful 😃

We had the most relaxing week here. Carole was so helpful and responsive especially when the weather caused some disruptions to the roads. I have 2 young children and a teenager who all want to go back! And the dog 😁

We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

It was a treat staying at A Sean Tigh for the week. It was a good base for going out and about as plenty of places to visit and walk around in the area. Hosts are a professional young couple with family as well as running a Croft and were friendly, amiable and approachable. I will definitely being staying here in the future and have no qualms in recommending to others for a stay.

We had a great stay at Alison&Thomas's cottage. It was as described, well appointed and tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The well stocked wood burner was so cosy and warm. Great location to explore from and I would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

We had a great stay at Church Cottage. It was so central and yet so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was beautifully laid out with a simple snug scandi feel too! We definitely would go again. Thanks Amelia

Lovely clean, cosy cottage in a great area for exploring the north east.

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Debbie’s house is beautiful. It’s cosy, comfy and the living space is modern and attractive to be in. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Our dogs loved the enclosed outside space. We have had the most wonderful week visiting Skye, Altnahara, Ullapool, Assynt, Ardvreck Cstle and Dornoch. This lovely property is brilliantly situated to explore the beautiful Highlands.

Wir haben eine super Zeit hier verbracht, unsere Hunde werden den Garten vermissen. Ein super Startpunkt für viele Ausflüge und anschließend in die richtige ruhige Umgebung von Knockbain zurück kommen, traumhaft. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen. Vielleicht ist das Wetter beim nächsten Mal nicht so schottisch 😅 Danke für alles

The view was incredible. We were looking for a peaceful location a little off of the main path and this was definitely it. The Isle of Skye is a wonderful landscape to explore and this is a great location to set out from while on the island. The hosts were very responsive and did a great job preparing the place for us. We had a great time! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

1st time staying at Islay Cottage, the cottage is very quaint set in beautiful surroundings with a waterfall not 1 minute down the road. The cottage was immaculate and well presented, our favourite bit was the log burner. We shall definitely be back again in the next couple of months. Thank you Fiona for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.
