Malpais : locations de maisons de vacances

Un alojamiento excelente, solamente que los aires acondicionados de las habitaciones, permanecieron en mal estado y quedaron en llegar a arreglarlos y no se presentó ningún técnico.

Todo estuvo excelente. La ubicación, el alojamiento, la pileta. Tienen servicio de limpieza todos los días y está buenísimo! La atención de los dueños perfecto también!

Una casa perfecta para disfrutar en familia. Exc ubicación en un pueblito tranquilo como lo es Malpaís, cerca de la playa! Sin duda volveremos!

We arrived on Xmass eve and the stove did not work. We were so happily surprised by caretaker Sebastian’s quick action and immediate show up of the friendliest repairman. Great great great. Thank you and we’d like to repeat our stay !

Pasamos una excelente estadía en la casa de Rotem. Cerca de la playa y de muchos lugares para ir a comer, así como también muy cómoda para cocinar algo y estar tranquilos. Muy cómodo las facilidades del hotel como la pileta y el café por las mañanas. También nos gustaron mucho los gatos!

Los delfines definitivamente es una zona para cargar baterías y la casa Anbara tiene todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones extraordinarias, Luis es un anfitrión muy atento a resolver cualquier eventualidad y hace que la estadía siempre sea muy buena, súper recomendable y es un lugar para siempre volver

What an incredible community at Los Delfines! We loved everything about it and this place was a perfect location for walking to the beach, golf, the restaurant.

ho trascorso un bellissimo soggiorno da Lucia e Nicola. Sono hosts gentilissimi disponibili e molto simpatici. Mi sono sentita a casa. L' appartamento si trova al centro di un giardino tropicale dove puoi incontrare tante scimmie vedere uccelli e iguana. La pulizia della casa era impeccabile, c' era l' attrezzatura per cucinare, il letto era super comodo. Il valore aggiunto è una piscina bellissima sempre pulita e accessibile. Il posto si trova ad 1 km e mezzo dal paese di Montezuma che è un paese molto caratteristico, ricco di bellissime spiagge tropicali. Sono stata molto bene e mi piacerebbe tornare presto.

Our trip back to Tambor was the best yet! We had a wonderful time in the backyard oasis as well as having adventures in and around Tambor. The villa had all the comforts of home which made cooking dinners at the house convenient if we didn't want to go out. The grocery store in Los Delfines was a short walk away and had plenty to choose from and was restocked often. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

Loved our stay! The home was clean, easy to find. We had an issue and Roy was responsive and had it solved for us very quickly.

Parada obligatoria en esta zona de Costa Rica. Todo es cerca. No salimos de la casa. Fue nuestro descanso a mitad de nuestro viaje por todo el país. La anfitriona fue de primera desde el inicio. Cómo no viajamos en 4 x 4, nos arrimaron desde donde dejamos vehículo hasta la casa al ingreso y al egreso. Y siempre disponible para alcanzar desde el pueblo lo que hiciera falta. El entorno es maravilloso. Y los lomos aulladores nunca te dejan solo. Volveríamos, sin dudas. Y el camino de ingreso es una linda aventura también. Todo de 10! Gracias!!!

El lugar se encuentra en Malpais, una zona tranquila, amplio y seguro parqueo, con una piscina limpia, las habitaciones confortables con todo lo necesario, hay un super a unos cuantos metros para comprar cualquier cosa necesaria y un par de restaurantes cercanos, desde luego rodeado de muchas bellas playas.

El mejor lugar para quedarse en familia en Mal País. Limpio, seguro, privado, cerca de todo. Macho nos acompañó a la puesta de sol. Y Joseph nos deleitó con unas increíbles pizzas.

We had an amazing stay for one month in Casa Encantada. The house is perfect for large groups, spacious, good kitchen and bathrooms, and the projector is an added bonus for movie nights. Jesper and Chad were amazing hosts too, extremely responsive and proactive to sort any issues we had. Actually they were probably the best hosts we had in this regard, and the whole group was very impressed by their effort to help us have the best stay. Costa Rica often has short power cuts but the Starlink internet worked throughout them all, which was important for us professionally. We mostly just went surfing at the nearby Santa Theresa beach (just about it walkable, but ATV made getting around much more fun and easy) - but would recommend the fishing trip and the waterfalls at Montezuma.

Our group of 12 stayed at Havana Villa for our graduation trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The layout is fantastic—spacious, well-designed rooms with air conditioning surrounding beautiful open-air common areas that made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. The cleaning staff was truly incredible, taking care of us every day and keeping the space spotless and manageable. Huge shoutout to Evi (the host) and Michele (the local manager) for being super responsive and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was ideal—close enough to Santa Teresa’s beaches, restaurants, and shops to enjoy the action, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The villa comfortably housed all of us, and we could easily see it accommodating up to 18 people. We even had space to bring in a yoga instructor for a private session one morning! Highly recommend Havana Villa for any group looking for the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, luxury.

It is a good place, peaceful, tranquil and safe. Internet works well, the AC too. Will book it again for sure.

This home is such an amazing place to stay. Wonderful location, steps from the surf, amazing windows, so much natural light, amazing views from inside and the covered porch, comfortable furniture, beds. Truly one of the most memorable places. Cleaning staff and Karen are super attentive , responsive and nice. Thx you.

This place was a gem! Location could not be better—right up the hill from tons of great restaurants, shops, and the beach. Easy to access with an ATV. Our taxi driver was not able to take us to the very top of the hill where the house is, so keep this in mind when booking your transportation to the house. We had an amazing stay, and the hosts were able to answer any questions we had promptly. The house has a gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset, the bed were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great in each bedroom. We would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone staying in Santa Teresa!

We absolutely loved the house! The pool was great, and we were surrounded by beautiful nature. Our hosts were always communicative and helpful. We would definitely suggest getting a 4WD. They mention this in the listing, but the mention can be a little hard to find. The hill is pretty steep and it’s best to drive it.

You can’t beat the location. We’ve been to Santa Teresa a lot and knew location was important to us and this place did not disappoint! For the price you couldn’t ask for anything more. I would consider this a budget/economy accommodation. As long as you know that going in and are wanting a great location you’ll be very happy here.
