We arrived later than we planned and did struggle to know if we were at the right place. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to spend more time at this lovely location. Such lovely views and beautiful accommodation.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. the house itself was stunning, very homely with beautiful decor. The views were amazing and sitting in the spa pool looking out over the lake in the evenings was awesome. Super private and peaceful place. We'd love to come back again.

Andy was a very responsive and proactive host which made us feel relaxed and reassured to reach out if needed. The home was as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view was just glorious and the location fantastic!

Perfect base to explore the local area from and then come back to after an active day. Big, well equipped kitchen. Loved the area with all the info on the local activities/walks!

Perfect location just outside of downtown. We took advantage the provided bikes and biked around the lake. The hot tub was also very nice. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great weekend here for the Ironman event. The house was really convenient for the event (five minutes walk from the lake) and a short drive into town. The house is very retro, which we loved, and really comfy to be in. Great that it's pet friendly and our dog could roam around in the large, fully-fenced garden.

We loved our first ever stay at Kai Iwi beach. The bach was perfect for us and two children. Portacot fitted in the main bedroom with the queen bed. Outdoor lounging was awesome! And fully fenced a bonus. Such a comfy relaxed bach, had everything we needed and a 5 minute walk to the beach and playground.

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

Foxton Beach was an awesome little place for a family weekend away. Andrews bach is perfectly situated near the estuary and only a short bike ride to the beach. We loved the ability to take our dogs and would definitely stay again

Wir hatten leider nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft von Gina. Es war super schön gelegen und extrem gemütlich. Wir hatten sogar frische Milch und Eier gestellt bekommen! Wenn man eine ruhige Unterkunft auf dem Land sucht, ist diese perfekt geeignet! Wir haben es dort sehr genossen.😊

Beautiful home, the photos do not do this place justice. Wenhua was very hospitable and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Angela’s place is simply amazing. A wonderful location with perfect views! The property has everything you could ever need with perfect communication from the host’s. When we are next in the area we will be staying again!

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Amazing lake side apartment - the pool was a game changer it was heated, the kids had multiple swims each day. Great location, tidy apartment and super comfy beds - we will be back :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Evan and Karen’s. They met us on arrival and showed us around. The 1880 railway cottage was unique and comfortable. Close by their swimming pool was great and quite private. Continental breakfast was provided with a good selection of teas. The local pub and general store were a couple of doors down and the people friendly. Both did takeaways and you could get a bottle of wine from the pub to take back (general store didn’t sell beer or wine). Overall Otane was a great stopover on our way to Napier, a hidden gem!

This place was amazing! It's honestly like a little slice of paradise. The location is was very secluded and away from light pollution, which was perfect for astrophotography and also taking pictures of the local birds (the fantails get so close!). The complimentary breakfast and snacks were much appreciated, we didn't need to bring much ourselves since we mostly went out in the afternoon for lunch/dinner. TV (with chromecast) was a big plus for us to wind down while we settled up for the evening. The pool was readily available for us but it was a shame we didn't have time to try it out. And the BBQ stand was perfect for us to make dinner while we enjoy the outdoors with a campfire :) The stay was super comfy and cozy, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
