Terry was very helpful and responsive. The Forge is very quaint, its clean but not pristine (decor is aging) but homely and comfortable. My parents found it a little difficult as the sofas are very low., and the downstairs bedroom option is only a sofa bed so wasn't suitable for them as I had hoped. But there was room for everyone and it was lovely and warm. Kitchen well stocked for Christmas cooking, although there are no numbers left on the cooker dials so that was a bit of guess work. The parking was a bit irritating as only one space at the cottage so loading and unloading of multiple cars was messy. Chinley is a fantastic location with lovely views, ample shops and pubs for all the basics and a nature reserve where you can let the dogs off lead. A great place for large families to come together to cook and eat together, various comfort levels for the beds which were basic, bathroom facilities very basic/dated. This large house was a Christmas Blessing to our family

Great place to stay for the weekend of our relatives’ wedding. Check in was straightforward and hosts welcoming. Super house, load of space and well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely private and secure garden for the pooch. Drive for off road parking. Cool tv and audio facilities. Sparkly clean top to bottom. Thoughtful touches like local walking books and a local map with recommendations for places to go up on the wall in the study. Even tea / coffee / shower gel / dishwasher tabs in case we had forgotten. Comfortable and homely. Loved it. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks!

Perfect stay in Buxton. Great communications from our hosts before our arrival. Super clean and every amenity provided that we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Especially appreciated the hamper and other things to get us going. Would love to return and will definitely recommend to others as a great place to use as a base whilst exploring the local area.

Had a lovely stay in Manchester - the house is modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. My dad's disabled so having a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor made life a lot easier for us. The house is easy to find and Lynsey's instructions made it really simple to access. The cupboards were stocked with all the pots and pans that you could need as well as plenty of basic essentials including tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel, clean towels and a hairdryer! A large taxi (for 6 of us) into Manchester cost less than £10 and took about 10 minutes. A great home and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Really a great stay. The house was very nice. And everything went as expected.

Central manchester is just a walk away. The place was so stunning , clean and well thought out with toiletries it felt more like a hotel ! The spa was amazing. Communication was great. Cant fault anything at all !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely private place with beautiful views. the house was lovely and exactly what was described, Clear instructions and house essentials were all there. Not too far from most popular destinations. Would definitely return in the future.

A beautiful, well maintain and extremely comfortable flat! I felt right at home and it’s in a great location, walking distance from the city centre. Didn’t get to use the gym, but great that it’s there! 10/10 stay, highly recommend!

We had a pleasant stay at Trespass Cottage. Great proximity to the Snake Path and other main trails; also a short walk to local village amenities. The cottage itself is comfortable and equipped with all the basic self-catering essentials. Our dogs were happy and settled and it was nice having things like dog towels and treats available for our use. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of wine and chocolates.

Angela was a great host, and the property was lovely. In beautiful countryside and was very peaceful. We stayed for a nearby wedding and the location was perfect for that, and the dog sitting service was fab!

Wonderful hosts, lovely place which is cozy and comfortable. A delightful range of "treats" as a welcome pack with lovely fresh bread and jams and wine to wash it down. I highly recommend this super place. Will certainly stay again.

Fantastic house, beautifully presented. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Felt cosy despite being a large house. perfect for a group of people. A very stocked kitchen - everything we needed. comfortable beds and crisp clean linen. We all loved it.
