Great place in a quiet location. Everything you need, but still feels like a holiday home. Would stay again

Used Sonja’s place for our work team Away Day’s and it was the perfect location with plenty of bed’s, bathrooms and space! House was spotless on arrival and kitchen is kitted with everything you need. Quick 7 minute walk to the beach and local shops so good location! Thank you Sonja!

What a beautiful place, it is well equipped, lovely and clean and comfortable. The views are wonderful and having the spa on the deck was such a treat. I would highly recommend staying here for families, friends or couples. The house layout works really well with the bedrooms at either end of the living space.

What a special place to stay. Beautiful home with incredible views. Every amenity one could need (include a bottle of wine and fab chocolate to welcome us), super comfortable beds, beach towels, a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, and plenty of seating for our family to socialize in multiple different locations. The views are spectacular (did I mention that already). It was super easy to stroll into town or, even better, stroll down for a swim in the estuary (my personal favorite) or walk on the beach. Our family was coming from all over the world for our reunion and every single person wanted to come back and stay here again. Duane was really easy to communicate with and gave several different sleeping options for accommodating possible additional family members. Would love to stay here again!

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

An amazing stay, albeit unfortunately cut a bit short. The information about the property was very detailed and spot on. Such a tranquil location and the house was so charming.

The cottage was an absolute dream and we didn’t want to leave. It was picturesque, peaceful and awe inspiring- everything we hoped for and more. We had plenty of room to move around, had every amenity we could think of, comfortable beds and many different pillow options- which i love!! Sally and Kev were so sweet and friendly. We also looved being able to walk to Smugglers cove to lay on the beach as well as walking around the Bugsby Head area. We were happy we stopped at the grocery store in whangerei to stock up before we arrived because we didn’t want to leave the cottage at all- it was SO GOOD! Truly a top tier stay!!

Lovely family home with all that the description and photos promise and much more! A once in a lifetime location. We stayed here for the last days of our NZ trip and really appreciated relaxing and exploring the area and fabulous beaches north and south. A big thank you Carol!

Ross's place was perfect for a family holiday. Great little towns nearby with good cafes and markets. Beautiful beaches. Snorkelling. Kayaking. Not too far out of Auckland. The hosts were very responsive and flexible and even offered us a late checkout and another nights' stay as the place wasn't booked the following day.

This place is a perfect getaway. It has everything you need. Full kitchen, grill, king size bed. The place is very comfortable. You can take kayaks and paddle around or go to the great remote beach.

Kathryn’s place was amazing! We loved our stay. I couldn’t believe how well stocked it was. Everything we needed was there. It was extremely comfortable. The hospitality was so welcoming and we felt right at home. The view and the serenity take the cake though. Not often you get ocean, mountains, pastures, cows etc all at one place. Definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tides Inn. The peaceful surroundings, easy access walks, swimming, and use of kayaks when the tide was in, all made out stay in this very homely place very relaxing and restful. The pantry was well stocked and we appreciated the gift bag on arrival very much.

We loved our stay. Lovely rural outlook and easy walk or drive to both Langs beach and Waipu Cove. The space is well set up and Chris was very helpful.

Very special log cabin, close to Auckland but nestled in bush and on a private beach, you feel a long way away!

Highly recommend Diane's cabin in Kauri. So close to Whangarei city. Very quiet, and very homely. Had everything we needed. Diane had gone above and beyond with basic quality grocery items. Comfy soft bed.

We loved our stay. The area is truly magical and Clive’s place was perfect for what we needed - and super clean. We even took our pup out on the kayak

Such an incredibly beautiful and private spot right by the water, with breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset. The Bird Box is also perfectly formed, thoughtfully kitted out with every amenity - it’s absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We feel so very lucky we got to stay here, have a hot cuppa on the deck as the day dawns or after a wonderful day of adventure in around the area - there’s so much to explore. Maxine’s a great host too and made us feel so welcome ❤️ we absolutely loved our stay!

Sean and Becs are outstanding hosts, and the cabin (particularly it's location) exceeded our expectations. We are walking Te Araroa and stopped here for a rest day- so had no vehicle. Sean was more than happy to take us to the shops (5km away) when they were heading that way and dropped us back to the trail when we left. They offered us veges from the garden, helpful advice and were all 'round great hosts and really nice people. The location is amazing and not mentioned much in the listing- the cabin looks out over a grapevines and a sloping lawn to the harbour. It's peaceful and relaxing, and the shower (in a small separate cabin ) is excellent. We didn't use the sauna but it is located right on the waters edge. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay, beautiful surroundings and nice to get to explore them with the kayaks and paddle boards available. Belinda and her husband were above and beyond hosts, will definitely be back!
