We really enjoyed staying at the cabin for our ice fishing weekend on Portage Lake. The usable wood fireplace was a very nice bonus during a very snowy stay.

We enjoyed so much about this space - it was cozy, nestled in the woods with a very short trail to the nearby river, pup friendly, and seven minute from Crystal Mountain (which is why we were in the area). We used the kitchen every day, hot water did not disappoint after a cold day outside and the cute little fireplace was a nice touch as we wrapped in blankets and watched movies in the evenings. I recommend it!

My husband and 10 year old son came to this home for a birthday getaway weekend for my son. Their plan was to fish and relax and although the fish boycotted their plans and were a no-show, they still had a great time using the paddle boat and traveled to the river nearby to fish there. The home was clean and the sauna was hot! They did struggle with food options in the area and there were no great nearby grocers (according to my husband) to grab actual meal ingredients, but this is certainly not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind. Very proactive hosts, reaching out to see if anything was needed.

this was a classic Manistee county cottage vacation. it was exactly what we expected. cottage on the lake with a dock at about 2 and 1/2 ft of water, so we were able to park the boat. The cottage is in good condition, and all the neighbors are very nice.

I would highly recommend this location! We had the most beautiful and relaxing stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was so nice getting to kayak too on the property. The hosts were responsive and so helpful! The best and most peaceful getaway here.

it was really nice I loved Nolas! it was perfect for our 2 little pups as they had plenty of grass for their evening and morning walks. the house house is beautiful and beds were comfy. I would be happy to return and 100% recommend

The condo and location were perfect for a summer getaway. I definitely want to come back again soon.

Nola was an absolute Angel. I was stuck in town unexpectedly with no where to stay, Nola was able to accommodate me quickly and was so kind and hospitable. An absolute gem of a place- unique historic home with attention to every detail. Perfectly clean and spotless. Great location near a world class beach. Lovely pool and outdoor area. I loved my stay!

Place was exactly what we needed, 3 of us slept comfortably and everything was in order. Nola was very helpful and kind.

This cabin is a hidden gem with easy lake access. . The hosts love what they do and meet your needs with everything. friendly and reliable.

We had a great stay at Kevin’s house- the views and property were incredible. The house was quipped with everything we needed for a fantastic Labor Day weekend.

Right on Lake Michigan. Great views; we kept our windows open and listened to the waves crash all through the night. As private a beach as you'll find anywhere. Very friendly and hospitable hosts and a cute 2-bedroom. Perfect!

Awesome place! We came for my wife’s birthday/color tour and this place did not disappoint. Had everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless which is usually the first thing we check. The views from both patios were perfect for our morning coffee.

Another amazing year here! The home is always exactly as described with clear instructions. We love this place!
