Barry's place is impeccably clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, including exposed brickwork and decor paying homage to the historic port city of Manistee. Kitchen is brand new, spotless, and well appointed with glassware, dishes , & utensils, appliances, and coffee station. As a guest, we were want for absolutely nothing. Bathroom is likewise new and spotless. Beds & bedding are very clean and comfortable. Barry provided very easy to following directions to the apartment, where to park, how to enter, and easy easy TV viewing. He rightfully suggests parking out front upon arrival to carry luggage in the front door and up (straight) stairwell into the apartment. The spiral staircase at the back where you park overnight is fine, would just be a challenge with luggage in tow. We absolutely recommend and will return. Literally the only thing we missed was eating out on the deck and watching boats & the occasional freighter passing thru the channel (we were here in March).

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Linda’s place was extremely clean, nice and cozy. Her place was just as described and she added all the amenities I needed for my stay. I liked that she was personable and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend.

Great spot close to great breweries and restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Loved the balcony in the evenings.

This was the perfect location to stay for our fall golf trip to Arcadia Bluffs. A beautiful home less than 20 minutes to the course. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic house for a larger group, with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a ton of space, and direct private access to beautiful Long Lake. We were there for a family celebration, and it generally worked well for that purpose, though the older members of the group struggled with all the stairs and steps, very high beds, and high-sided baths (my parents had to sleep in the children’s twin room as the most accessible option, and that was upstairs on the second floor). Therefore this house doesn’t currently score well for accessibility. Everything else was great: the rooms and beds were comfortable, the views stunning, and it was nice to have kayaks. I would definitely return with a different group of people.

My husband and I loved this place and the fact it is dog friendly so our two rascals were able to join us! We loved the view and the fire place, the big kitchen that comes with everything you need and the big couch to lounge around on. The only thing was the heater on a very cold night felt it wasnt working but had plenty of blankets to grab. Other than that we would come again and loved it so much!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

Writing this review, with considerable jet lag, I can say the only feedback prompt I paused on was "value." This wasn't a cheap week. But seriously, it shouldn't have be. This is a large, well appointed property in a seriously beautiful lake country setting. Moreover, it's a real house for real people, not a beige/grey generic airbnb-fab unit created for the purpose of a revenue stream. Also- If you are a client with a boat/boat aspirations, don't think twice. This place is awesome.

What a wonderful stay! We so enjoyed watching the ducks on the river in the snow. So clean & tidy.......we will be staying again for sure. :) Thank you!

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! Very easy to find, easy checkin with a door code, and the most beautiful waterfront view imaginable. Many thoughtful amenities (white noise machine in the bedroom to drown out any noise from traffic, local coffee for the coffee pot, makeup wipes and floss sticks in the bathroom, beach towels). Very easy to get everywhere as you’re right on 31. While it wasn’t the warmest April weekend, it was warm enough to enjoy walks on the beach and watching the sun set. Would absolutely stay again!

What a great place! Now definitely one of our favorites! The view was amazing, everything was comfortable, the architecture of the building and the unit splendid! We could not have asked for more!
