Beautiful place for Christmas family gathering! May Jane was very helpful and responsive to questions.

We absolutely love getting an opportunity to spend time @littleretreat it feels like a home away from home. It is such a peaceful place, and we love all the trails through the forest and sitting by the wood stove. It’s so wonderful finding properties that are pet friendly and our dogs love it. Michael is a great host and makes you feel like you are just popping into a family members place while they are away. Can’t wait to get back.

We were up ice fishing, location worked great for us. There is also a general store very close for minnows and any forgotten supplies.

Ursula is a great host. Very attentive and helpful! Great communication. The home is absolutely beautiful and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake front property and would definitely recommend! We hope to visit again next year

We were excited to find Tracey’s place as an alternative to a hotel while in the area for hockey provincials. The time of year/reason for our stay did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor space however the games room in the basement provided great entertainment as well as a closet full of games. If you enjoy ice fishing, this location would be great!! Could see shacks straight out on the lake. Would be a lovely spot to see and enjoy in the summer months. My first air bnb experience, Tracey was great to answer questions I had, very responsive.

The home is right on the lake and very comfy. We were there during the springtime and there was a huge blizzard, so it was very picturesque with all the snow. (Thanks to the owners for shoveling us out.) The spot has everything you need and was clean. A great location for exploring kenora.

Janis’ home on beautiful Lake Longbow was everything and more as described. She provided everything you need to get started right away on your vacation. Her home is one if not one of the best we have ever stayed. We certainly hope to make a return trip. Again many thanks! 😀

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

My girlfriends and I had a most wonderful weekend getaway at Dana’s place! Everything about the cabin suited our needs. The decor is inviting, the seating areas were plenty, and the beds were very comfortable. The entire cabin was neat and very clean. The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen and has handy amenities like a washer/dryer. Having the second toilet was beneficial for us four. We would definitely rebook Dana’s cabin! We highly recommend.

Cozy place for up to 8 people in a quiet neighborhood. It comes with everything you would possibly need in the kitchen, washroom and backyard, including 3 kayaks and a canoe. The access to take the kayak or canoe into the lake is through a grassy path across the street and then a few steps over rocks. It took us sometime to figure out the path as It is not marked and sits between two private properties. If you have two or more people who are strong and experienced with kayaks, it would not be any concern. Otherwise I would recommend bringing the kayak to a nearby beach with a suv or truck and access the lake from there for your own safety. Everything else worked out great. Courtney was responsive and provided a very detailed instruction upon check in.

Jac was a fantastic host! He was at the air bnb upon arrival, and gave us a rundown of the space as well as a tour of the property. He gave us a few recommendations which we were able to check out while we were there for the weekend. Very friendly, and is very responsive! The cabin was the perfect getaway and was exactly what we were looking for, for our anniversary. It was quiet and secluded and had everything we needed to relax and kick back for the weekend. The property has a point located right on the lake with a couple chairs to enjoy the sunrise in the morning (Highly recommend!), and is a great spot to sit and relax during the day with a book. The wood stove was amazing and provided beautiful nights for us playing crib and enjoying a glass of wine. Pine dock caves is roughly 15-20 minutes away which is a must see for any hiking/outdoor enthusiasts! Overall, it was an excellent experience and we definitely will be returning in the future!

Lukas was very kind throughout any interactions we had with him!! We came out to relax for a girls weekend and his place was the perfect place to do so! The hot tub was amazing along with the whole place itself. The place was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our weekend get away!! 100% plan on visiting again :)

Nice stay.We stayed the end of August/beginning of september. Don't forget to pack jackets because it may get a little chilly while fishing early/late hrs of the day. Caught pike, bass and small crayfish( that we released) from the dock using worms, minnows, weiners as bait. My family members were able to swim and kayak/conoe during the day. ( the water is 10 + feet deep) There was occassional boat traffic in the middle part of the lake which sent waves our direction that made me a little nervous) The house felt comfortable and was adequetly furnished and had good storage. Areas to improve: - I forgot to mention this to Joy because we brought out own, but in the shower there was no shampoo but only liquid hand soap. - One of the picture windows and the window in the dining room didn't have curtains so I covered them with sheets - Dishwasher didn't drain fully so we hand washed the dishes after the first load. Overall it was a good stay. Owner was very responsive and helpful

We loved staying at Blubear! We already miss the lake. The kids had a great time exploring the beach and jumping in the waves. The cottage was a perfect place to relax. Lots of space to play games or puzzle. We enjoyed the downtime inside and the wood stove was great for the cool nights and mornings. Everything was clean and there was plenty of everything we could need. Only recommendation is to bring water as the well water is drinkable, but very metallic tasting.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin! We had a great weekend away with our young family. I would 100% recommend this cabin for anyone with kids. The master bedroom has room for a playpen and our older son loved the bunk bed. Brandi has dishes for kids there and little kid life jackets as well. It was a perfect camping experience without the hassle of tenting with a baby!

We were very happy to find this gem for a quiet and relaxing winter getaway. Met and exceeded expectations and probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. Thank you Stanley! Also the extra games and little amenities, surround sound system, etc… that are included at the property really made the stay that much better.

The cabin is beautiful! We had a nice relaxing weekend. The cabin looked just like the photos and it was very neat and tidy. There were lots of supplies for cooking and the kitchen was spacious. We stayed for a few days in the winter and it was warm and cozy. However, the road right before the cabin was extremely icy and steep. Our car could not make it up on its own. Needed a tow up the hills. If you do not have a 4 wheel drive car the drive may be difficult in the winter. Once the drive was over our stay was great.

It was perfect! No complaints. Like a home away from home in a quiet serene atmosphere.

The best recommendation is an intention to return. And we will.

Excellent stay! The place was spotless, very well stocked, and clearly organized with helpful labels and a reminder checklist. The blackout curtains and drapes were perfect for a restful sleep, and the guest streaming service was a great bonus. Every detail was carefully planned to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely on my list for future visit!

The cabin was perfect clean and had everything you needed . It was great beautiful place to stay! Brendan and Katelynn were great if you needed anything they were very responsive and very helpful!

I stayed here for a relaxing birthday with my friends. Upon arrival, we were shocked by how beautiful the place was, especially the outdoor deck which has lights, a hottub, dock, and bonfire pit. We were a group of six, and there was plenty of space for everyone. I also have to note that the bedrooms were very cozy and everyone mentioned they had a great sleep. The host was friendly, and fast to respond. I would love to stay here again. The only note is that I recommend bringing your own water -the tap water is drinkable but salty.

Absolutely outstanding place along the lake! Nice and clean definitely enjoyed it and will be booking again.
